AirshipGirl
Why do space missions that are green, yellow and orange giving only 5 exp? Can someone from Bioware explain this? It has been like this since a couple of days past the game releasing. It use to give decent exp, now just 5 exp. Why?
PictoKong
As you level, the quest goes gray and give no more XP... It is considered "too easy" for you
AirshipGirl
Did you read what I wrote? I said green, yellow and orange colored...not grey.

AirshipGirl
Missions are color coded, like Green, Yellow, Orange, and Red. Well I can run these missions and some that are yellow and orange are only giving 5 exp. It's been like this since a few days after release. This is not the first time I and others have brought this up. I am curious to see what Bioware is doing to address this. Is it a bug or are we only allowed to run a mission once to get exp from it? Iron_Lord
I got no problems like that.... i pickup the quest from the republic fleet and i get around: 9995 - 14000 xp (grey ones still yield about 2000 xp for me) (level 32 here)

It has been like this since a couple of days past the game releasing. It use to give decent exp, now just 5 exp. Why? Check the mission in your log. You outleveled that mission, therefore you get only 5 xp The name of the area on your galaxy map that is in green blue and orange are NOT the color codes for the mission level
KetMalice
You only get the Xp for the daily...if you run it multiple times...none.

Chimeran
Yeah I was wondering about this as well. It is like they let you run it only once a day for full exp. This has almost put a complete stop to my space battles.
Marius_Xerxes
On space missions once you have completed it for the first time you no longer get anything more then 5xp for completing the "quest" itself. However, you still gain the xp from killing all the stuff during the mission. The only reason to continue to space missions is for the fleet commendations for certain upgrades and a easy way to make credits daily.

So going to the space mission termminal in my ship where it gives out quest is pointless if I have all ready done the mission?

You still receive xp for the quest although you can only pick those up from the terminal once per day. I dont see why you would want to do the space missions more than that, seems kinda repetitive. Is it a bug or are we only allowed to run a mission once to get exp from it? *sigh* The daily quests you are referring to ALL have two missions listed to complete the quest. So when you finish only the first one, that mission only gives 5 XP. Then when you complete the 2nd one of the daily quest, you get the full XP for the daily. For example: One daily quest tells you to complete Mak Te assault and Arachenar invasion (or something close to that). When you finish Mak Te, you only get 5 XP. But when you finish Arachenar as well, you get the XP for the Daily.
Foxtrotmikelima
This is so that you go back and complete the second half of the mission which is a different space battle. Once you complete both will you get the full on XP.

goneawayting
^ This must complete both parts the 5 xp is a little frustrating but the daily gain from completing both parts is worth it

The quests also vanishes when you finish all of them and will reappear the next day
Shillen
Yes this is the case in the 20s and 30s. The quest missions stop giving exp long before the quest goes gray. For instance I know the 2nd quest you get (not the escort but the next 2 missions) stops giving xp at level 22 even though it's a level 24 quest. Note: The quest gives xp, the missions do not. krisslanza
The game doesn't actually tell you the levels of the space missions, but they're pretty low. The actual level of the dailies however, is a lot higher. You'll outlevel the actual space mission long before you outlevel the daily quest attached to it/them.
