Someone who has a asus/msi g-series back me up here, the cooling system is the same basic design as the asus ones, just with bigger in/out vents for the cpu and gpu side because of the size of the laptop. My m18x is new but my gf has had both the asus g73 and 74 with absolutely no cooling issues. They are not watercooled like my desktop or anything but laptop cooling and overall design has come a long way- the cooling system for the m18x is what made me actually get it. Check them out before you put them down While i aggree most games run horribly on laptops that arent built for gaming (macbooks, ultrabooks etc.) here are some (alienware, msi, asus, razer, sager etc.) that run them as well if not better than most desktops, i usually am into stuff a lot faster than my guildies on vent, and it runs comparably to how it does on my desktop. I built a monster desktop but find myself mostly playing games on the laptop. Its just one of those things, once you try gaming on a really nice gaming laptop, its hard not to like.

My laptop - Dual 2gb ddr5 gtx580's - SLI 16gb 1600 mHz DDR3 i7 2960XM overclocked to 4 gHz Dual 256gb SSD's - RAID0 18" Screen and Titanium Shell i have a desktop that is slightly better, but am mostly playing on the laptop, which is better than most people's desktops. dont put laptops down, gaming laptops have come a long way.

Ugh people who buy macs and then expect to game on them (and expect games to be released for their outdated speced models) need to have their heads examined.

Actually the cooling system in the asus g73/74 is extremely similar to the one in my m18x and the one in the m17x

Idk about the pricing but i looked at sager, i liked them a lot, in the end i went for the m18x for the 18" screen and a few other reasons. But sager makes good laptops for gaming, as well as MSI, ASUS, etc.

Although i love my desktop, its hard to pass up playing from a recliner while watching tv with the laptop

From what ive heard the alienware m18x is one of the only laptops with a 18" screen and dual gtx580's sli. I love mine, it eats this game for breakfast, probably the nicest laptop i have ever owned, and although i have a desktop that's nicer i find myself mostly playin on the laptop from a recliner. the razer blade looks really cool and i really like the design, but its specs seemunderpowered compared to the m18x in terms of price. Anyway my specs are: 2x 2GB DDR5 Gtx580m's - SLI 16gb 1600mhz DDR3 ram 2x 256gb ssd's - RAID0 i7 2960xm overclocked to(4??ghz i beleive) BluRay and Titanium casing I have had absolutely no probs running tor w/ this machine.

^ this. Wow is a huge smelly pile of crap and only getting worse, if you can put up with every other thing they did wrong to spam abilities, great. WoW is not in any way an mmo standard, if anything, its a standard of what they should not be.

No, hes saying once youve done the mission. You still receive xp for the quest although you can only pick those up from the terminal once per day. I dont see why you would want to do the space missions more than that, seems kinda repetitive.
