Wipe all the credits from the game and let people start over. There's hardly any economy at the moment anyway so it wouldn't be the end of the world and it's pretty easy to make money once you get past level 20. Something like this is one of the few ways I can see them making this work. Honestly, if you're going to remove all credits from anywhere you'd have to toss the legit players a bone, most of the people who were on the poor end will actually be getting money. If I've cheated for any of that then I've done it entirely unknowingly. All I've done is quest, sell greens and greys to vendor and blues and above at the AH. And I've even spent about an extra 250k on learning crew skills so really I've made about 800k. And I wouldn't mind losing every penny of it if it meant wiping out all the ill-gotten credits that a handful of arseholes exploited out of the game. Even crafting a purple for every light armor recipe I've gotten levelling synthweaving, equipping new relics whenever possible, and keeping my implants/earpieces updated on both me and my companion I'm at around 500k at 37. I've kept all of my gear pieces blue or better the entire way up, I've purchased every personal inventory upgrade, and I've bought whatever random thing I wanted from the AH. I'm sitting on 800k+ that I've earned legitimately, to wipe legitimate players work for a few exploiters is a terrible idea. That this is even proposed at all seems very petty. Of course exploiters are an evil that needs to rooted out, but taking all the money from the players, in order to get to a select few seems like dropping an atomic bomb in order to arrest a petty criminal.
