  1. Merc commendations need to be granted on PVP kills on Ilum.
  2. As someone who actually rolled a brightwizard in warhammer after seeing how OP they were, sorcs and sages aren't anywhere near as bad. They're actually close to balanced, if at the upper edge of the balance curve.
  3. 1) entirely false. Had you only wanted to communicate with bioware you would have left this with its original point instead of degrading the message by turning it into a trollfest. 2) You're right, I'm not sure you care. If you cared you'd actually attempt to spell things right and post hard evidence of this supposed hacker rather than just beat around the bush. 3) Oh but you were, the fact that you don't realize how much you were forcing your own preconception is indicative of your own logical failings. Playing the innocent vicim card isn't going to work. At every avenue you had the opportunity to take even a simple screenshot and post that for your "evidence". Instead you perpetuate the troll by conjuring imaginary hackers. So again, see 1, 2, 3 plus this rebuttal.
  4. Reasons you have to lie: 1) to troll 2) to save face 3) to attempt to force a preconceived notion If you gain nothing from us believing you then why are you so fervently fighting for your point. If not to troll, then I can only imagine a deep seeded insecurity necessitating strangers on an internet forum enabling your ego by agreeing with you.
  5. No, you clearly don't. And just because your imaginary friend told you something does not make it the truth.
  6. I'M GOING TO TAKE THE WORD OF SOMEONE I'VE NEVER MET WHO HAS NO REASON TO BE TRUTHFUL WITH ME. Now who's being naive?
  7. Wow, so just because something is unlikely to happen it's totally never going to happen, and if it does happen then someone cheated to make it happen. Great logic there. Also cynicalism? Cynicalism isn't even a word. Tried and test too, it's tried and true. You HAVE to be a troll, because no one can epitomize the failure of public education more precisely than you have in this thread.
  8. While not in the same league of luck, I opened 7 bags consecutively after weeklies and dailies for 3 pants and one implant. Its within the realm of possibility to get 4 unique pieces from 4 consecutive bags. The odds are just fairly remote.
  9. Time and effort? You mean all of the 4 hours I spend clicking buttons every few minutes to keep the crafting queues up and RE the greens that come out? I'm tired of the time and effort argument in swtor. Very little of the game requires effort, mostly it requires time. However the time it does require is miniscule compared to many other MMO's that don't give any such rewards.

    Nerf AOE

When I see a big shiny emblem on the ground I run outside of the emblem. AOE's are only a problem if you have the reaction time of a drunken sloth.
  11. guard is easy to beat guys. Either stun lock the healer and focus down the tank. -or- pull the healer well out of range of the tank, stun lock both and focus the healer. COORDINATION IS HARD
  12. You have the maximum allowable missions currently active (25) Complete one, or abandon one.
  13. Cybertech for levelling to 50, armormech at 50 for crafting rakata belt/bracers with augment slots, biochem for medpacks/sitms adrenals.
  14. The mistake there is that if someone gets knocked off then the group should just wipe. It's not difficult to not get knocked off, getting knocked off is akin to forcing your group to wipe in an op. Sorry to say but, noobs gotta learn.
  15. This. Ops wanting this change reverted are just bad, because now you get a longer stun, and the ability to hit hard with consumables. Consumables (and expertise) were the issues all along, but bioware put a bandaid over the cut without addressing the infection beneath. As a result good ops with biochem remain just as good, if not better, while ops without biochem and poor ops just cry because they can no longer faceroll. The real victims of this patch are the PVE ops and scoundrels. Bioware ripped their burst away without giving a viable pure DPS alternative.
  16. Its not worth the time or money to level with armormech/synthweaving unfortunately. Between the random factor of RE, and limited companions before you close in on the end you'll be wasting time crafting armor that you'll quickly outlevel. By the time you get past 20 you'll be picking up gear that's better than most of what you can craft unless you go for purples anyway. Cybertech is a much better choice before 50. REing mods for personal use is far easier than trying to RE purple gear. You can also craft your own ship mods. Once you hit 50 ditch cybertech for armormech or synth depending on what class you are. Craft your rakata belt and bracers with augment slots, then ditch it again for biochem. This is the optimal way to go with the state of crafting in the game. And while ditching level 400 skills willy nilly seems wasteful, you can fairly easily hit 400 in any craft with the credits from just with one day's worth of dailies at 50, and a few hours of continuous play. Some will say "OH BUT THEY'RE GOING TO BE BALANCING THE SKILLS OUT" Yes, they will. But again with as easy as it is to get a crafting skill to 400 it doesn't really matter what they do, we can all reskill for whatever the optimal skill is. But since they're removing the skill requirements from medpacks, just level up a biochem alt, use your current cybertech to help your biochem alt along with mods. But definitely ditch slicing for underworld trading. Slicing is just terrible now.
  17. That wouldn't really fix flamethrower. The problem it has is that it's far too easy to avoid before it fully channels. Even if it would follow the target, the target could easily back out of range if not before the first tic, then well before the second. I really, really like your proposal for serrated blades. It would give retractable blade that certain oomph its missing without being overpowering. To fix flamethrower/prototype flamethrower, either the bonus needs to also apply to immolate, or prototype flamethrower needs to reduce the channel time of flamethrower by 10% per proc, compressing the tics by the same amount. Keeping a target within the cone for 1.5 seconds is a far more managable prospect than 3 seconds. HEGC also needs something, like a stacking proc that reduces healing on the target.
  18. Odd then how assassins are the only AC that doesn't really give me issues. Equally odd how I'm typically a top performer on voidstar. A powertech paired with a competent healer can hold a cap point in alderann for a significant period as well. Hell even once on voidstar, myself and a healer held a door 2v5. I don't disagree that we need more utility, but sustained damage can be pretty significant with the proper spec and gear. Hell, I'm usually within the top 3 damage dealt, with the CP or even pure ST build. The only time I drastically lag behind on damage is when there's some crazy 600k+ score up there.
  19. Your logic is flawed. An ops fight is entirely different than a 4 man flashpoint. People will die in ops, that much is certain. There is some give and take but if too many people die, or they die too often then the fight ends in a wipe. Losing a chance at loot in a 4 man flashpoint is a teaching tool to force people to know how to position themselves for other encounters.
  20. Oddly enough I've had an op healer in my guild that's done a number of hard modes with me. Best heals i've ever had. So either operative is a great healer, or every other healer I've picked up has been terrible.
  21. You clearly didn't read everything or even attempt to understand my point. Make immolate the thermal detonator of the AP tree. Make prototype flamthrower and any other abilities that give bonuses to flamethrower also apply to immolate. The skills themselves are fine, it's just that flamethrower is not viable in the majority of pvp situations. Making flamethrower == immolate would fix this by giving the player an insta cast single target version of flamethrower that carries the bonuses of prototype flamethrower to use in the majority of PVP situations.
  22. I think much of the problem would come in with people needing on hard and nightmare drops just because they need the mods for their augmented orange set. Currently people have the sense to not need for their companions they never use, and don't need if they just need a mod.
  23. Republic != light Empire != dark playing through the bounty hunter storyline you'd know there are corrupt jedi, and in some ways the republic is every bit as bad as the empire, in some ways the empire is better than the republic. Knowing the history, and from playing a jedi you'd know dark jedi exist within the republic and flirt with the darkside to pursue strength to fight against the Sith.
  24. I rolled a republic alt on Ajunta Pall for PVP just because I heard it was one of the non garbage pvp servers.
