  1. Mate , i saw so many ways to exploit these rules of yours , cant wait if they actually add this hehe.

Well you are right, but those points don't form the whole system, there are of course more details to a complete implementation. In fact, the system I stated there is very successfully used in live MMO games out there.

Bioware will do what is best for this game anyway, and creating PvP with "personal performance" as the main reason for rewarding is so dumb they won't even consider it. There is no way to have meaningful group PvP with players that have no incentive to work for the group, and anyone that ever designed and created a game knows it.

The OP is just a sad bunny, and the funny thing is, he will quit this game anyway after he got all his T3 gear, because he only plays for equipment. So WHY should Bioware freely hand the equipment to rank 60 players?

Any idiot can heal and damage over 300K in a game, I just need ONE key for it. Playing for the team and enduring a loss with the team needs to be encouraged, not zerging.

If Bioware is sane, they will implement a harsh penalty for leaving and AFKing, and if its only to make it much harder to obtain the T3 gear through winning games.

Because.... they will lose the subs of the PvPers that have all their gear and only play for equipment and not because they like PvP, because THERE IS NO INCENTIVE TO STAY SUBBED after complete T3 and rank 60.

Here is a neat little idea:

Only give out TWO bags for the current weekly, and two bags for a new weekly quest:

"Lose 15 warzone games without leaving a single match in between."

(of course winning will not make you fail, just leaving :p)

  2. Ganz ehrlich, man sollte erstmal generell die Geschwindigkeit aller Gleiter erhöhen.

    Eine gute Lösung wäre vermutlich:

    Sprinten: 50%

    Gleiter 1: 100%

    Gleiter 2: 130%

    Gleiter 3: 170%

    1.5 Mill Gleiter: 200%

    Sprich in Prozent:

    Sprinten -> Gleiter 1: +100%

    Gleiter 1 -> Gleiter 2: +30%

    Gleiter 2 -> Gleiter 3: +30%

    Gleiter 3 -> Episch: +15%

  3. Gewinn?

  4. Please god can everyone stop iterating that they need to fix the countless D/C, AFK detection, matchmaking and equipment issues before they can put in a debuff for leaving BGs?

We all know that. It's also in the patch notes:

    - Matchmaking will come.

    - Equipment will cause less advantage.

And the rest will be in line.

The topic is about: What will be done to the leaver issue after the fixes are in?

Because even with perfectly balanced PvP games people will still leave when the enemy gets the 1:0 and blame their team, the weather, whatever.

BTW.... there could be the option to start a SURRENDER VOTE like in LoL, and if it passes, the game will be instantly lost.

  5. Unless those patchnotes are going to fix player skill and basic understanding, then it won't fix anything. People will just AFK instead.

Don't worry, AFKing will soon be punished as well.

Both leaving BGs and AFKing BGs will go away and people will just play through a BG or log out and not play their main char at all.

  6. You're just trading a bad situation for one group (in which you are a part) for a bad situation for another group. There is really no "greater good" resolution here. The group jumping will go away, but the AFK/leecher population will soar. You'd be replacing one problem with another.

Players jumping through groups will ruin more groups than just one.

You need to realize that there are players leaving for almost no reason, like a 1:0 or the enemy capturing 2 towers. These players will rotate through groups and taint every group they leave.

On my server I see 5 jumpers ruining PvP the whole afternoon. They are in every new group you join, jump in and out of losing groups and just wreck PvP for everyone.

A very small number of jumpers will break the whole group finding process.

Yes AFK leeching has to be fixed, but there are tons of easy mechanics to fix it, just look to other games. AFK reporting, idle detection, all easy to implement.

  7. So what this really boils down to is:

You hate people who leave, so they should fix it so they don't. That will make YOU happy. In doing so, people who don't like being stuck in a dead-end war-zone are forced into something they hate or suffer for it. But that doesn't matter, because you're happier?

I fail to see how one is better than the other.

No, everyone will be happier because the group jumping will go away.

I hate being stuck in a group as well, but this is for the greater good.

  8. Throwing a debuff on someone because they didn't want to eat a farmfest isn't going to solve anything.

It will solve the issue we have right now. Yes I understand you will hate it, but thats cause you are a leaver.

But of course they still need to fix the reason why people are leaving.

And they will, its in the patchnotes.

  9. No. People don't just leave for no reason, 9 times out of 10 they leave because there is no hope of winning, they're getting farmed at zone in, and it's not fun feeding valor to the other team. In short, they're not having fun. Losing a close match is one thing, getting rolled by a geared premade when you're a PUG is another. If losing is no big deal, and you get valor and comms anyways, why is people leaving even an issue? If anything, if there are no fillers and the match closes, you lose, you get valor and comms that much quicker.

Cause most of these people dont need valor or comms. They are all waiting for T3 bags.

But what does that have to do with what I was saying?

  10. If I get Huttball, unless I know for a fact the people I'm teamed with know what they're doing, I'll leave. I hate Huttball anyways. If I'm in VS or CW and people are fighting off of nodes and chasing people across the map, I'll leave. If it's a well known Imp premade VS a Rep PUG, I'll leave. Even with a deserter debuff, I'd still leave.

What you dont seem to realize... its ok when you do that, as long as you have a 30 min debuff after that and cant do it again in the next 30 minutes.

The problem is not people leaving once every 30 minutes, the problem is people leaving over and over again in the timeframe of a few minutes.

So the deserter debuff will still fix the issue, its not supposed to make you stay in the game. Some people may think twice leaving.. but still, its not the main issue.

  14. Logically, If people should get a deserter debuff for "selfishly leaving early", people should also get a penalty for:

"Selfishly" not gearing up appropriately for PvP (Oranges with decent mods are pretty nice starter gear),

"Selfishly" playing as one-man-hero and not as a team,

"Selfishly" chasing kills instead of working on the War-zone objectives.

Or best of all, "Selfishly" being so bad at the game and queuing up anyway.

Wow, look at all those times I manage to slot in the "selfish" accusation simply because one person's play-style doesn't fit in with another person.

If people waste your time by leaving, you should accept that the other side of the coin says that you are wasting their time by being so god-awfully bad that they WANT to leave, or that bugs/poor matching makes for horrible, tedious games.

So you are saying, you are just so good in PvP that no one has the right to play with you?

Is that an argument? Or what is that? Are you hallucinating?

  17. Yeah, im totally gona stay to see that happen. And i should get a massive penalty for not wanting to serve as a valor piñata? Maybe you "pvp pro's" need to realize your prenade-and-lets-just-farm-the-other-team actions have consequences.

I am quite sure everyone agrees that the PvP bugs and stupid design mistakes will have to be fixed before the leaver penalty comes.

    - Premades against randoms needs to be fixed.

    - The equipment > all bug needs to be fixed.

    - The AFK timer needs to be fixed.

    - Some D/Cs need to be fixed.

THEN we need the deserter buff or sticky BGs.

  18. Meine Top 5 Probleme:

    1. Keine Addon API

    - Keine Social Points in Hardmodes

    - Keine Ruf Punkte in Hardmodes

    - Kamera Schwenk Bug

    - FPS Bugs

    - Auktionshaus (mindestens 3 Bugs, die sind ja bekannt)

    - PvP Wins zählen nicht

    - Flashpoint Kisten gehen nicht auf

    - Raid Bosse episch verbuggt

    - Flashpoint Bosse episch verbuggt

    - Quest Bugs (Ilum, BH Klassenquest, etc. etc)

    4. PvP System

    - CC Immunität völlig uneinsichtig während des Kampfs

    - Kein Matchmaking

    - Equipment Stats im PvP > Allem

    - Huttball Sprungplattformen.. soll das Random sein? Was ist der Sinn?

    - Server Population Imbalance wird so akzeptiert

    - Kein Cross-Server BGs (ja ich weiss, kommt irgendwann)

    - Premades gemischt mit Random Spielern

    - Nicht funktionierendes AFK Erkennungssystem

    - Kein Deserter Debuff / Sticky BG

    - Memory Trashing

    - Trotz SSD extreme Ladezeiten

  20. Put in the lock out and here is what will happen. AFK nightmare just like WoW still has. Or bots all over the place. The WoW solution did not work as it just made the problem worse.

First we need the deserter buff, then we need to fix AFKers.

For the AFKer fix, we implement AFK reporting by the group.

Also, if someone is AFK at the end of the game (i.e. does not click the exit button in 60 seconds) he gets another 5 minute lockout and no rewards.

Also, the AFKer problem will slowly go away when people realize that instead of AFKing they can as well kill some people in the same time.

  21. I am for penalties for leaving wz's(but think it should penalize chronic desterers). But on point i definitely agree with OP to make the dailies based on objectives and indiviual performance flexible to your role. It would incentize better play all round not only by emphasizing the very things that win wz's but on an individual level learning how to use your player role to maximum benefit to your team.

The only people that think it's a good idea to not motivate people to win a game by demanding it in the daily quest are the people that only require T3 bags and need to win games for it.

And these players are the really bad players... they have the problem that the medals they get for losing are worthless for them, and as they lose most matches (we arent talking about the good PvPers here) they do not get anything most of the time except a timeloss.

So what these players are trying to do here is making it very easy for them to get better gear by zerging in Warzones.

The OP is a player that does not care about winning warzones, or even about other players, at all, he only wants the easiest way to get his T3 gear, and that is of course by ignoring the game and zerging for max damage and max heal.

And now he wants to be rewarded for zerging, too. As if his playstyle wouldn't be bad enough.

Luckily Bioware was smart enough to base the daily quests on winning games, so these people are sorted out.

    Thanks Bioware!

And to really FIX the PvP rewards, we only really have the two options stated here over and over again:

    1. A debuff that restricts reentry so people cant join another BG for X minutes

    or

    2. Make BGs stick to the player, so that as long as the BG is running, people can not join a different BG (this also fixes the issue of D/C and you cant get back into your BG that was almost won)

Two options, really... Bioware needs to make a pick.

And dont worry, Bioware will never ever remove the win condition from the dailys and give in to the wanna-be-T3 crybabies.

  22. No it's never a good thing for players to leave a game. Anyone that suggests a paying player should stop paying and play something else...

Which I didnt do. You just halluzinated I did.

If people instead of leaving BGs and joining other games would leave BGs and then go offline for a while until their debuff is up, a lot of other people would have more fun playing, thus more subs.
