  1. Does everybody who could be considered an elitist fall into this stereotype?
  2. I find anything that ends with, "But you already knew that didn't you". To be totally passive aggressive. Might as well just get Microsoft Clippy to ask, "It looks like you're trying to <Insert role>. Would you like some help with that?"
  3. Specifically the armor shells. Which I don't have access to due to not actually actively raiding anymore. But anyway, just curious. If the armor shells can be reverse engineered then I'm sure I'll be able to get what I need from someone.
  4. Personally I wouldn't mind know if we'll see the current Basic and Verpine sets return in the cartel market or as schematics we can craft. Some of that gear is pretty good looking.
  5. First and foremost, this is not a suggestion to make guild capital ships obtainable as a personal stronghold. Instead I'd like to suggest something a little different. Player capital ship strongholds that are similar in both size and power to the Terminus Class Destroyer and Thranta Class Corvette. A mobile home with a difference. That difference being, each ship stronghold could be created as a unique looking stronghold. Both the interior and exterior. Essentially, Bioware could create a series of prefabricated hull sections complete with hook slots both in the interior, and on the exterior hull. Best way to look at it is how modern cargo ships are built. Individual hull sections are dropped into the dry dock and welded together. Likewise, players would be able to have hull compartments fused together to make a ship. There would of course be certain restrictions to ensure the stronghold doesn't become too large or have too many hooks. Players can either pay credits in game to purchase hull sections or cartel coins to unlock and assemble their ship stronghold. Additionally, Bioware can continue to provide new hull sections. (That's your cartel market application /wink). That can be purchased with large sums of in game currency or cartel coins. It would certainly be a lot of work but the payoff would be huge, and not to mention loads of fun.
  6. I have to ask, was your character a fresh 55? Or was the tank's gear quite bad? What class of healer are you playing as? Were you healing efficiently? I currently have two of the three healing classes at level 55 and I never ask anyone to stop and heal. Note: I also don't waste resources trying to dps.
  7. That's a shame. I was hoping for a wookiee and either a spy or sith to join my crew.
  8. Hey Eric, Can you ask the team to also make the Macro Binocular and Seeker Droid missions solo friendly too? Getting a group for the final missions for those two story arcs is like pulling teeth. I'd gladly finish the chains if I could just do it myself.
  9. Drunken rage guild kicks! Seriously it works every time!
  10. The healer would have to be performing some kind of action in order to generate the threat needed to make mobs target him/her. Gaining a new buff generates threat (eg, Shielding someone or refreshing class buffs), and of course healing someone generates threat. The threat generated from gaining a buff is very minute but in situations where the tank has only leaped in and attacked one target or is using an LOS pull. The threat generated from gaining a buff is 100% more than the 0 threat the tank has produced on the mobs the tank has NOT attacked. In the case of hardmodes, simply using an opener followed by a single aoe attack, tab targeting to any mobs that are still at 100% hp or are targeting someone other than the tank and attacking them with single target abilities will usually prevent healers from exceeding the threat the tank has generated or simply generating threat on mobs the tank has NOT generated threat on. AoE taunts are great for getting a bad pull back under control but you MUST always attack every mob in the pull after you've aoe tauned the mobs. The AoE taunt will force the mobs to attack you and give you a small lead over every other party member but depending on who the highest on the mob's threat list is. That lead might be very small. Following up an aoe taunt with a series of attacks prevents anyone, like the healer from exceeding the threat you have gained from the aoe taunt. Assuming a healer does exceed or is simply the only person producing threat on a mob, you can just as easily grab it back with one to two attacks. Depending on how long you've let it beat on the healer. The longer the time, the greater the number of attacks required. It's also a good idea to remember that people who are at a greater distance from the mob have a higher threat threshold. It's usually best that the ranged stay ranged and guard the highest damage dealing or threat producing dps.Special consideration for Vanguards and Watchmen spec sentinels, one uses a lot of high threat abilities shared with tanks, the other produces healing threat on top of existing melee damage. Both should be attacking from melee range and have a lower threshold for pulling agro. Otherwise you can just guard the one you see the most when you tab target through the mobs you're tanking.
  11. Our very own Ebon Hawk Mini Strong hold? Corrective surgery for this person's face? An announcement of an announcement to be delayed before being announced?
  12. For some reason the image of a morbidly obese endurance stacking force user tank with armor made entirely of tinfoil and a box of jelly doughnuts in his off hand came to mind. And we shall call him, Darth Butterfingers. His hands are so greasy he can't even hit his primary target! And all those mobs, too many distractions from the doughnuts. So he has to keep taunting his opponents to keep them focused on him.
  13. As a fair point worth mentioning in regard to the reputation system. While the weekly reputation caps may seem excessive. Overall the idea of only having to grind a reputation once, due to legacy wide reputation is much more appealing than having to grind the same rep on every character, with no weekly cap.
  14. Something of a technical request but wall mounted Fabric awning. To expand on this suggestion and go into technical specifics, I'd like to see awnings that can be connected to several different walls. Much like the Fabric awnings that are used to provide shade between the buildings at Anchorhead.
  15. You could also queue for a flashpoint. Besides everyone knows your decoration skills are like Commander Shepard's dancing skills.
  16. Jaxo wanted to go down on me from the start. #Girlsfriendsyou'llneverhearfromagain. Edit: I'm hoping that Lana and Theron will fill the void for same gender romance options.
  17. I'd take both Lana + Wookie on imp and Theron + Wookie on pub. However, and this is really a suggestion that should have it's own thread. Build your own Ebon Hawk Stronghold! You get to design the interior of your own player ship! After you finish rebuilding it and giving it a paint job. Oooh optional extras like wireless holonet connectivity, cloaking device and hidden smuggling compartments.
  18. Energy Credit? The highly inflated credit currency of Star Trek Online?
  19. I'm also having serious lag issues on Harbinger. Posting from Brisbane, Australia.
  20. At the rate that price of encryptions are dropping on Harbinger. I expect that a small guild will be able to fully unlock a ship with out actually touching any of the conquest content in a fairly long but reasonable amount of time. Frameworks will eventually come down in price which should speed things up. Dark projects fell through the ground, which is actually funny.
  21. Cool idea! But I'd also like off the rails PvE ship content too. Let us change our class ships a little (Like turning the smuggler ship into a super gunship, extra large rail gun on top for this baby!), use our guild capital ships in PvE space story related content. Give more content to people who would play the system in either PvP or PvE.
  22. I'd take Theron and Jakarro. One for the romance option and the other for the muscle / dismemberment.
  23. No changes are required. The missions are fine as they are.
