If your good with that great. I'm not. When I heal, I heal in combat not out of combat when they have their own heal. When I tank I heal myself out of combat I don't expect others to burn their resources when they don't have to. It is quickest and easiest to pop my self heal as soon as combat ends and then move on.

Healing during combat is their job. Out of combat they need to rest like you should be to regen their resources. That's why you were given an out of combat rest ability. You claim to want a faster run but cause it to take longer by demanding an out of combat heal the healer then has to rest to recover from so they are prepared to keep you alive during the next fight. Honestly if you were in a group with me and pulled the crap you say you do my next post in this thread would be featuring you the Tank to lazy to heal himself between fights, and how one or the other of us got kicked cause the healer refused to heal out of combat and the tank was pickin daisies in protest.
-
Were you the tank? My group had the same problem with the generators. For us the person standing next to the generator had to be the tank with the boss agroed on him. Also the generator could not get in between the tank and the boss or it wouldn't rampage and the sandstorm killed everyone.

Czerka Meltdown - One core is missing - Vigilant Boss Fight
Revenaught replied to tman_ac's topic in Bug Reports
This happened to me on the 2 man story mode today when taking the quest from the mission giver and walking in the door of the Flashpoint. Worked fine on the Hard Mode using the Group Finder though. -
New Czerka FP's not giving credit to the weekly for SM.
Revenaught replied to Reno_Tarshil's topic in Bug Reports
Tried running core meltdown story mode 2 man and in the final section only 6 of the 7 cores would spawn preventing us from finishing the run. We gave up and used group finder to do the same FP in hard mode with a full groupl. We finished the run but did not receive credit for doing it on the weekly quest. I notice in the write up of the FP that I just read that both Corp labs and Core meltdown are two parts of one story. Do they have to be done in order to get credit for both? And is there a work around to get the story mode to spawn all the cores correctly? -
Please make group finder pop sound louder!

Or you could always, oh I don't know, Not walk away from the computer when you're queued for a FP. -
It's quicker though for him to top himself off instead of waiting for the healer to do it then rest to recover his resource after healing. The only healing that should be done between fights is the Bounty Hunter/Commando rapid shots as that uses no resources, can be performed on the run, and charges a beneficial ability. Other than that Tanks and DPS need to heal themselves between fights.

No! Absolutely not!

Apparently I am Trunk. Before I shot off my mouth in reply I did pull up a character and moused over the stat descriptions. You are correct the other stats do give minor bonuses to our characters. I accepted the developers words as accurate and never bothered to dig deeper for that I apologize. The bonuses from other stats are not enough to be worth stacking but are worth it to find and get the datacrons for them. However that just means that the Datacrons absolutely should not be legacy wide. If you want those stat bonuses on a character that character should go to the datacrons to get them. And I say this knowing I have 5 characters I now need to go back and get them all on.

Personally yes. I would love to see a complete update cycle devoted to nothing but bug bashing. The more I have to put up with bugs that seem to be perpetually ignored by quality control the less I find myself wanting to play. I understand software like this is incredibly complex and bugs are going to happen. I'm not the kind to fly off the handle when they do happen. But when they linger and linger and no apparent progress can be seen on fixing them as new content and new bugs gets layered over it all time after time, it leaves you feeling as if they don't care what kind of sloppy product they produce so long as the "moar content nao!!!!" faction is kept placated.

Honestly you shouldn't have let him get away with those kind of actions. If he doesn't learn that he has to fulfill his role in a group and can't need on items he has absolutely no use for he's just going to keep inflicting that kind of play on others. It's a community game and the more the community allows such behavior the less justification we have to come in threads like this and complain about it. Not meaning this as an attack on you amcdoog. I'm just seeing more and more posts where actions like this are talked about but still allowed to happen.

Tank companions are BAD, I mean really BAD
Revenaught replied to sofakingzoe's topic in Suggestion Box
It's only with a DPS or Tank character that the Tank companions suck. And I agree they do in those situations. However on a healing character they are supreme. You keep them up and they will keep all attention and kill everything in due time. -
I'd be a lot more sympathetic if you hadn't spent your whole post yelling at me.
-
Or how about we leave them as they are and anyone who wants the companion can earn it as is.
-
Just as bad an idea as playable Gunganns.

As Orange Adaptable gear continues to mature......
Revenaught replied to LordArtemis's topic in General Discussion
Vastly increasing players options to have their ideal look is never a waste of time in my opinion. However there is no need for special mods for levels 3 to 8. Your on the started planet for such a limited time that I don't really see the need for them. -
didn't look close enough at that date, my bad for that, but the healers have never been able to pull off a tank just by healin. Only mobs that are not being hit by someone will agro the healer. Been that way since game started. Only tank that ever really had agro problems were the Guardians but that's been remedied and even when it was a problem no healer was able to pull agro off a tank by healing.
-
A healer will not steal agro from the tank. The only mobs that will head toward the healer are the ones no one is hitting. That's why the dps should start with the weaks and wipe them out fast while the tank holds the strongest on him. If the dps focuses on the weaks first there should be no way they can rip agro off a decent tank once they start helping burn down the ones he's holding.

But you didn't check the suggestion box before posting or you would have found at least 6 without trying.

Remove FFA PVP zones from PVE servers please.
Revenaught replied to Nar_Keth's topic in Suggestion Box
It's your choice. If you don't want to be flagged don't enter the PvP area. Don't take the Gree mission labled PvP and you will have no reason to go in there. -
PLEASE give us something to silence the ship droids...
Revenaught replied to Nar_Keth's topic in Suggestion Box
You know, much as I hate listening to the ship's droids. And I do with a passion. I would cheerfully let mine ramble on if I could just muzzle the Bounty Hunter's Skadge. -
Trust me it's buggy as hell. It can be anywhere from 5 to 15 or more and you might have to toggle pvp on and off first but you won't know if you do until it doesn't auto deflag you.. It doesn't have to be a rest spot but any safe faction territory will do.
