hmm thanks.

Since I transferred 1 char I was wondering was there any way for BioWare to give me my mail contents back? I'm mostly interested in the CE speeder tbh but oh well.
-
relogging solved it for me.

Since the transfers, how much more fun are you having?
BrainSplatter replied to Galbatorrix's topic in General Discussion
Like I said at launch, I like the game. But why are there still so many servers? What's the point of keeping them all up? Also I just played WoW for a while and I'm seeing some of the same there. Lots of servers are ghost towns. -
Honest opinion- do you think the game is in trouble?
BrainSplatter replied to Moroder's topic in General Discussion
Is there any news about server merges, finally? The playerbase needs to be consolidated. -
You've got to be kidding me. EVERYONE WHO HAS PAYED FOR HIS OR HER MONTH(S), that's it. It really isn't 'rocket science'.
-
So you basically went through all the content -- and enjoyed it too -- before deciding the game sucks? And you've only played The Secret World for, what, the first few levels? Before deciding that it's not suck.

Theme Park vs Sandbox, What Do The Players Think?
BrainSplatter replied to Hendrickson's topic in General Discussion
I really have a persevering dislike for the term "themepark" as it applies here, but if I'd theoretically have to choose between playing in a virtually static world and one the player can alter, shape, change, or even 'live in', well... of course I'd like some sandbox or 'sim' elements thrown in. -
Dear Bioware,Why do you hate the exile?
BrainSplatter replied to Vektarulz's topic in Story and Lore
It's LucasArts' property. It's ridiculous to claim that Obsidian has any say over Star Wars story and characters... they really don't, not over most (if not all) games they've worked on. If they did, the Exile wouldn't be usable for SWTOR in the first place. What, did Obsidian have the quarter of the rights responsible for writing a good ending to the Exile's story? But since LucasArts or BioWare only had what was left, they just couldn't go with that and had to settle with the rights over writing a crappy one? Were they just splitting rights like shares, saying "Oh here's your characters and these are mine"? That's kinda how it sounds to me. -

BrainSplatter replied to Vektarulz's topic in Story and Lore
They shat all over both Revan and the Exile. I was a fan of KotOR I & II and I like SWTOR, but as closure for previous titles... everything we got was terrible. I'm glad that at least Mass Effect fans know what it's like to get a s--- ending now. -

There is nothing to license... it's LucasArts' property. I don't understand how your third point's relevant. -
Dragon Age 3 Devs moved to SWTOR.
BrainSplatter replied to Rayla_Felana's topic in General Discussion
Who cares about the gdamn romances... that should be the least of their problems. I'm tired of all these weirdos and fangirls in BioWare games discussing romances non-stop (not referring to SWTOR, but their other franchises, mostly). I liked the idea of a romance in KotOR; I thought it enriched the plot. I have nothing against romance subplots in principle. But this junk has gotten so out of hand that that's the only thing people ever discuss on the BSN. Now all we get from their games is 50% combat, 50% flirting, and 0% roleplaying. And debates over (female) Hawke's breasts or whether Fenris enjoys being touched. -

Just pointing out that you probably have no idea how Wikipedia works. -
That would be one of the few things that would actually make me go out of my way to put effort into complaining about (not that the game is perfect otherwise).

If 1.3 Isn't Out by May - Will You Unsub?
BrainSplatter replied to brentonj's topic in General Discussion
Just because they were working on it before launch... doesn't mean that it absolutely, unquestionably had to be there upon release. Features are cut before launch in non-MMO games too, only to have them reappear in the form of DLC (or not at all). You can't put everything you wanted, 100% into a game because there are always time constraints. -

Who says TOR won't? The year isn't over yet. -

BrainSplatter replied to brentonj's topic in General Discussion
Considering that the game is an MMO it will probably never be either of those. -

BrainSplatter replied to brentonj's topic in General Discussion
I don't consider myself a fanboy of the game, and I'm really ok with there being no add-ons. I didn't like the concept in World of Warcraft and tried my best to never use them. It just forces players to DLC crap from third-party sites to even the level playing field. -

These features are a welcome addition but not worth delaying the game over... -
Which class has the best romance for a female character?
BrainSplatter replied to jazzllanna's topic in Story and Lore
still waiting on a cathar romance if I'm ever gonna play a fem char for long enough. I mean, a Juhani-type companion would be cool (like with Vette/Mission Vao), romance or no. -

"I can't wait until the complainers leave so I can play the game in peace." is usually followed by "The game is dead. Everyone left." posts a few months later. Not saying that it will happen to SWTOR, unless people complaining about complainers get their way. -
I was about to say that I don't hate any planet so far, but yeah, Dromund Kaas. Big jungle that looks mostly the same with tons of trivial 'filler' side quests that distract from the main plot.

Bioware: Events, a lasting memory
BrainSplatter replied to mightylawngnome's topic in General Discussion
I hate missing out on content myself. Wish they could me, idk, revisit quests/events I didn't get the opportunity to do (while at the same time changing the world a bit). -
The end of the arguement. Is SWTOR in decline? Can it be saved?
BrainSplatter replied to Sheff's topic in General Discussion
I think people should complain. If nothing else, it keeps developers on their toes, instead of letting them sit on their laurels. "The game is dying" threads are just annoying though.
