Thanks, I understand that my personal billing/refund case won't be sorted out here, I'd use the phone for that, but that's not what I'm asking here. I wrote this post to outline what happened and request this be escalated for investigation, in case it is a bug. And if it is, even if they refund me, it could just happen again. The link you provided states to use this forum to report bugs and that every bug is looked into, so that's what I'm doing.

I’ve been here since late beta but I’m not cancelling my sub on a game I enjoy so much over the recent rewards. I already have them so this promo isn’t for me. I’m happy that the people who missed out on them can now get them. If more people have them then it justifies more content for them. We get so much free stuff in this game, so I look forward to the next free stuff I don’t have.

Update: I closed my support ticket in game and submitted a bug report instead because I'm not looking for a refund, just hopefully a future fix if it was a bug. --- Yesterday I bought 1050 worth of coins to buy a name change item, I had a total of around 3000 coins at this point, (2000 built up from the coin grant). I was saving the rest for the Cybernetic Varactyl mount next week. I logged into the character I wanted to buy the name change on but when I opened the market my new amount was 32,000. I thought this was a display bug which I’ve had happen before. I bought the name change item hoping it would fix the amount but it just made my new amount 31,000. I logged into this website and it said I purchased 14,500 coins twice on the history page. There’s no way I would do this, even by accident as there is an ‘are you sure’ prompt. Once in error I’d maybe understand but this looks like an auto purchase bug. The only thing I can think of is that I opened the Add Coins box to double check the prices, and because the radio button is automatically set to the highest amount, it might be a bug that automatically committed to the sale. Just to be safe I changed my password and submitted a support ticket with the purchase history logs in it. Please can this be escalated to the team that works with the cartel market? If this was human error then it wouldn’t bother me. But if it’s a bug then I’m pretty reluctant to even open the cartel market in future if there’s a chance it will make purchases without my consent. I’m also reluctant to play right now because I’m concerned my account could be flagged. I didn’t buy anything over the amount that I already have though so I hope it doesn’t get seen as an exploit.

Damn, I was really looking forward to getting that shiny new Chiss speeder until I realised it was random. And to add salt to the wound some people got multiple codes and went on to try and exploit people with them? Does anyone still have a spare code they would be kind enough to PM me? it would mean a lot, thanks.

Tried various other chapters of KotFE and KotET which work fine, but it looks like when Theron arrives in chapter 9 of KotFE he's still wearing his old armor even if you customize him. Although I'm not sure if this is intentional. Does he keep it on because he's worried we won't recognize him?

Why are they able to be capitalized in other text fields though? and how are other MMOs able to utilize it? The inconsistency is the bit I don't get.

Would be nice to get an answer on at least why it is that way.

Example - when I log in, my guild sees my character name as: "Firstname Lastname" But it chat it's forced to lower case like: "Firstname lastname" Is this a deliberate design choice and if so, why? I just don't understand the inconsistency. I asked in chat and got the reply that it's a middle name not a surname as legacy names are surnames apparently. But even middle names are upper case. It would be a big quality of life improvement if it could be fixed.

Beta player here. Still enjoy the game but I put that down to the many breaks I've taken, sometimes months at a time. I'd be burned out by now otherwise.

God yes. I spent a good amount of effort logging different alts over the weeks and doing all the missions in order to get this thing, now it's being flogged for 80k on the GTN... Can we get a compensation item, like when the Nexu pvp mount was granted to people by accident who'd never pvp'd?

Eric, please can you tell us if they will be removing the 25 run achievements for flashpoints? Or will the current hard mode ones be the same but for level 65 instead of 50/55/60?

I saw this elsewhere, may have been Reddit, but I really like the idea of getting a new hub, either fleet 2.0 or maybe on a planet this time. Furthermore I'd love a new hub to have more interactive activities you can do with other players, like a fighting arena, and a big screen where players can chill in the cantinas and watch while they're in queues. We even got a small version of that in kotor 1...

I used the buyback option on them, so... hopefully this won't get flagged on my account. I have a lot of well-earned credits on this account D:

Kinda concerned that the upcoming Gree event might have the same effect, like deleting all my Life Day achievements. It just sounds like the whole achievement system code needs a re-write or at least a good debug. :/

I'm getting up to 100k ms lag spikes tonight on Red Eclipse, pretty unplayable right now. According to the fleet it's not just me. Edit: Logged out after hitting 150k and it had trouble logging back into the server. Calling it for tonight, can't do any group content :/

To devs: I would spend way more cartel coins to unlock hair and eye colors on my existing characters than I would with new characters I always thought the reason they separated certain colors and hair styles across races is to force people to make multiple characters and ultimately spend more time in the game and more money on their sub. But this is an outdated model now that the game is f2p. People spend way more on cartel unlocks with their existing characters.

Jesus Christ... I finally, finally managed to get a group for HM classic ops, but during the 1st boss and on the way to the 3rd my game lag was so bad, the ms climbed up to 150kms and booted me from the server twice, yet my internet seems fine. Other times, like when I'm on the fleet or doing dailies, the game will lag up to 3kms but it happens every few minutes. This is getting to be unplayable now I'm too shamed to log back on, I hope that group just kicks me.

Still changed my password as I hadn't for ages, better to be safe than sorry.

That could be interesting. The first one ever happened out of nowhere too, that felt pretty fun having all my guildies run over to Tatooine after seeing these terminals pop up on the fleet. Only downside was people saying they missed the whole thing due to holidays. Doesn't seem like a big deal now considering how many events we get but it was back then.

I have a possibly similar issue where at some points in the fight my Merc's heat bar goes up to about 80% instantly. So I have to waste time popping Vent Heat and Rapid Shots until I can continue. I'm not sure if this is an intended thing that Revan does to you (which I've never seen a boss do) or if it's Satele's buff bugging the classes in different ways.

Opposite faction? Highly doubt it, as it's heavily hinted they don't want to continue contact. Same faction will possibly see them as quest givers in future or referenced/part of a cinematic. Would have loved to have them as companions but I get how they're too important to be tied to the player's ship...
