  1. That does make sense and I did try that with the very next MM FP I joined. Straight away the tank and the other DPS left the group. Granted that was probably coincidental. I guess it doesn't hurt to ask before the FP/op starts. Cheers
  2. There are "antics" in the game, sure, I get that... and I, for one, don't care how anybody rolls for loot, but to be kicked from a group for doing nothing out of the ordinary from 50% of the group is just down-right despicable. Abuse, harassment, threats...sure, kick away. I know nothing will come of reporting these 3 guild members will go unpunished and the likelihood that changes to the loot system will also not be put into development so my only option is to put these jerks on ignore and go about my merry way. I just wanted to vent.
  3. I was in Group Finder queue for a little while waiting for a random flashpoint or random operation to pop - far and few between these days. Anyway, a flashpoint popped for "The Foundry Master Mode" and I noticed the 3 other members of the group were all from the same guild - BnX. Nothing wrong so far. After we downed the first boss, I selected need for the loot items and so did one of the other members of the group, a member of the same guild as the other two. The next thing I know it has been put to a vote to kick me from the flashpoint and the reason because I selected Need. The flashpoint was my instance as it usually is and I ALWAYS pass lead to the tank so they can do the ready check, etc. What I would like to see is when a random group finder group is formed that there be a vote as to the rules on loot before the flashpoint starts. If the majority say "greed" only, then the option for "need" is removed, etc. If the majority say "don't care" then there should be no option to kick a person based on loot choices. ...or even just remove "need" or "greed" from the choices and just have "want" or "pass".

  5. I got the dependable achievement for logging in for 28 days, but none of my calendar achievements have been marked off. Still 0/90 for all 3 calendars
  6. I am having this issue, too. I logged/relogged and restarted router and computer and its still broken for me. Just sits there with an empty window and the word "updating" and nothing else.
  7. Hi, I have logged in 28 days and received the "Dependable" title, but I have not received completion for any of the 3 calendars. Is this a bug? Also, the Customer Service Help Request portal in game is broken. Mine just sits there updating and I cannot submit a ticket. I have had to go old school. Regards, Julz
  8. I'm all for challenges, but I have been "camping" at the two areas for the last two items for around 5 hours and haven't seen them spawn. A friend told me that one item spawned while I was at the other location, but it was quickly taken by someone else. All we ask is just for a respawn time nerf to keep it fun. I know I will "eventually" get the achievement, but camping for it has not been fun. I don't know what the aim of having long, drawn out respawn timers is - is it to ensure I resub after my 180 days expires? If that's the case....make it fun, not tedious UPDATE: It took me a bit over 5 hours of on/off camping to finally get the shroom. Gee that was a fun 5 hours
  9. A message to the devs. Look, I like a joke as well as the next person, but can you stop prioritising relics on the Ossus Weeklies? Enough is enough! For the past 6 weeks or so, I have been trying to get a pair of Ossus boots, but all I have received is 6 relics. For crying out loud, please make the horrendous grind for this armour obtainable with credits and give up this ludicrous path of obtaining crystals, which by the next patch will be useless. You know they will, there are several that are already useless already. Just let us grind and buy the armour I need and can actually use instead of these endless flood of relics and gear my toon can't use.
  10. I guess the comps have had enough of being the ones doing all the "hard work" since they were made largely OP in recent patches that they're revolting. Now it's their time to go "afk" while the player does the work
  11. I have found this Discord channel to be extremely helpful in getting many achievements and tips. I have made quite a few friends here and its great to see someone take the initiative to set this up for the community. Well done
  12. Yes I did notice receiving some tokens as rewards from flashpoints. I managed to blow the machine up once, which is a slimmer chance than the companion, but oh, well! It is what it is. Thanks
  13. This year is my first time running the Nar Shadda Nightlife event. Even though its a huge credit sink, being an achievement hunter, I HAVE to do the content. I think I have sunk around 30 million credits into this event and have won the Wraith speeder 4 times. The rest of the achievement items were purchased with certificates as I have not been able to win them. All well and good, but for some reason, the damned Gamorrean Guard companion eludes me. I hear players winning it big all around me every minute. Why do the RNG gods hate me? The event as I understand it: buy Smugglers Luck Chips and play the Smuggler's Luck machine until you get the "Feeling Lucky" buff, then run over to a Kingpin Slot machine and insert your hugely expensive Kingpin chips until you win. As I said earlier, I have only won the wraith speeder and enough certificates to buy the achievement items. My thought would be that if the outer arrow lines up perfectly with the inner arrow, you should win one of the achievement items 100% of the time - just like getting 3 cherries to align in a slot machine spits out all that lovely coin... or whatever it is that gamblers play - I don't know I'm not really a gambler, but time and time again, I have seen this align properly only to win a Kingpin chip. What gives?
  14. So, my 180-day recurring subscription is, what, more like a week with all the updates, server maintenance and fixes to updates and server issues - that's money well spent - NOT!
  15. Thanks for the reply. I have already completed both KoTFE and KotET. The chapter I had open was one of the veteran modes, so I cannot see how this is "as intended" Way to go Bioware! Way to go! Instead of trying to find ways for us to spend credits on lame *** pay-as-you-go dailies on Iokath, spend some time and test this stuff before release.
