Hi guys, looking for a definitive answer. I see that there is an achievement for getting all of the datacrons in 2.0. That is great. but it has sparked a mini debate in guild and I would like the collective knowledge of all of you to settle this, and if a Dev answered? even better. A guildie has taken that because the Datacron Achievement is legacy based that Datacrons and their bonus's are now shared across the entire legacy. I said I don't think its true, that you still have to get the Codex's to get the bonus. Does anyone have a link to a dev saying one way or the other about this. I did run a search and I have looked through old dev posts. Ran through Dulfiy's info and all I see is that there is a legacy achievement for getting them, not that the bonus's are shared. Clarification please?

You aren't wrong. Pugging is harder to be successful at. But much like Major League Baseball or the NFL? I would much rather be recruited to be a part of the elite than play a pick up game at the local YMCA and outshine the people just learning how to play while frustratingly having to buy new sneakers because they keep kicking my heels.

So you out level the content? you can still DO it if you are above level. no one has content blocked because they level faster, if people don't want to skip content? they don't have to.

Why turn it on or off? So you outlevel the content, the double xp isn't stopping you from doing it, it just makes you op while doing it. I get the idea to want to turn it off, but in the end no one would be stopping you from experiencing content if you wanted to see it.

No. I have lvl 50 legacy and 6 50's. however i used the double xp weekend to grind another 26 levels on a new alt on the republic side. I still used the double xp weekend and I am legacy 50. So no, its not irrelevant. In fact it is an awesome idea as a perm reward for capped legacy xp people to be able to skip the grind. Kind of the point of the original legacy system if you ask me. Reward those who have already done the content multiple times by not forcing them to go through more than the class story lines? perfect reward.

it could go from 1.7.0 to 1.7.1 if they wanted it to. 2.0 is just signifying major game changes, it is a number and an approved version. This is not abnormal in video games.

Currently these only come from Rakata weapons. With Rakata going poof, has anyone running ops found a Black-Red from a chest? will these still be attainable after 2.0 launches?

No it doesn't. They aren't tradeable.

I hate pvp. With that being said? There is no griefing in a free for all pvp area. Get a group before you go in and protect eachother. This is the way it is intended to be played. Piss a player off so they come back with their friends and start a big brawl. That is what the 'content' is there for, to encourage free for all pvp. Sure you will 'sometimes' be at a time where people are civil and no one wants to pvp. Then if someone comes in to gank? all of you 'peaceful' people can gang up on them. This is working at intended.

Tokens wouldn't make a difference for that. either way, people who need on gear that isnt meant for them are quickly ejected from my groups. worrying about something that is easily fixed to say no to a very good improvement confuses me.

/signed i would buy an item that makes items bind to legacy. that is a great idea I'd even go as far as being ok if this item that makes items BOL is BOP when you get it so you can only get it from the cartel market.

you are looking at the wrong tab. that is the tab before f2p launched. look in the game and see if you have the coins or not. if you have already spent coins then they will be gone, if not you will find them in game. this ledger was tallying everything before they got transfered to your live ledger, once they went into your account it depleted the coins from the pre live tally

false. submit a ticket and wait. it took about 24 hours but explain that your account was charged on or after th 15th and you will get your coins. i agree, calling is worthless, submit a ticket.

Just make them moddable. Allow me to put in a mod that artifices can craft that are crystal specific. Make the crystals all empty, or with a +endurance default and then allow us to swap out the mod for the +stat crystal mod of our choice. this way the artiface community actually gets a NEW item to craft instead of robbing them of a source of income, which, lets be honest, was meager to begin with. You cant craft any of the sought after crystals except magenta anyways. This way you can sell the mods for all crystals. And they can add new colors as craftable later, using HIGH end matts like they do for barrells and hilts.

Just a heads up. I am a level 6 agent and I tested with rest and boost combined xp. Rest + Boost killing level 4 droid on hutta: 150xp depleted my rest so Boost only killing same droid: 150xp thats fine, its a good bonus, just wanted to let people know who have stacked up rest xp not to use the boosts until you deplete your rest xp

This is the only mmo i've played where i entered a second serial key into my account and got awarded the free month. And I have done this in WoW and SWG and a couple of other games to get the extra bonus items that came with the newer starter editions and collectors editions. this is the only game that awarded the free month a second time. would you rather have not gotten the second month free, but gotten the 150 coins? you do realize that is trading about 2$ for 15$ right?

its a true story. you get 15$ worth of play time and give up 150 coins, which my 'guess' based on market research and common sense will probably amount to 1.50 in the cartel market. THE SKY IS FALLING! THE SKY IS FALLING! I too am a survivor of this horrible horrible tragedy. Can't you find it in your hearts to give me the 150 coins? I mean, i got the collectors edition, for 30$ which had the statue, and the security key, and the 1000 cartel coins, and an awesome art book, and a slew of other cool goodies which basically paid for itself in the end, especially considering I got the 15$ value of a month FREE with it. but.... i seriously think i should also get my 150 coins, or else this free item i got? totally wasnt worth it. and in that case, i wouldn't have gotten the other 1000 coins with it had i not gotten it at all...... read between the lines please.

Preferred Status: 1- How do you attain the preferred status? I know if you sub for 1 month then go back to F2P you are preferred, but do you also get 'Preferred' if make a single purchase from the cartel market? 2- What are the bonus's for being considered 'Preferred'. Can you make a matrix like you have for Subscriber/F2P accounts? Thanks

Nope, I picked up the CE version for the Malgus statue and hte hopes I would get the 1000 extra cartel points. I paid 30$ and it was a good value for the statue alone. I got the cartel coins, it was an added bonus. And then I also got a month free. Which means I actually got the statue for 15$ which was an EXTREME value because these statues usually go for 70-150$ And I lost 150 cartel coins. Which will probably amount to 1.50$ worth of coins if they keep in line with what other games do. (100 coins = $1 usd) type setup. So, I lose 150 coins, but gained 1000, so for my ce I got: 850 Coins. 1 month free, and a Malgus statue for $15? GOLD MINE BABY! If the coins do go for 100 for $1 that means I really got the statue, which is the item I wanted, for $6.50 if you count the coins I got extra, the month free. And if you count my security key that I don't even plan on using? that is another 5$ so at this point? the Malgus statue has almost paid for itself. Whining about 150 coins seems moot at this point now doesn't it?

Disagree 100% This is the FIRST mmo i've ever bought that when I put in a second reg key for a base product they gave me a second month free. 15$ for a free month is worth the piddly stipend of 150 tokens lol. Means I got Darth Malgus, an extra security key and all the swag for the CE for 15$ total. Like I said, and i've partaken in quite a few where I bought more than 1 version and applied the keys to my accounts for the swag, this is the first game to give you a free month for re buying the game.

once you get to 50, top end gear is no longer tied to your alignment. pre 50? yes you will be gimped, but you dont need top end gear pre 50 to clear the content.

did you add the CE to the second account AFTER it was created, or when you first set it up at launch? The cartel coins are alotted for 'paid' months of subscription, and i have the same issue as you do. I figured it out though. My issue was I added the CE later, so I got the month free from CE so it wasnt a 'paid' month so I don't get the cartel coins for that month.
