its pretty hard to help someone standing around not pressing any buttons the whole match and as long as bioware allows those people to get free comms and gear, then it should be a solo players game plain and simple.95% of the matchs I end up in, some guy with zero dps,zero heals, zero kills gets 4 or more MVP votes. Whats he doing for the team? making it harder on everyone else who want to play, the problem there however is once they see the 1 person doing it, the next does it and the next.

well the flat our pure and simple reason is: lower the dps so millions of people dont make stealthers.otherwise everyone would be a assassin and then it would be called assassin wars.When I first came up in game I thought hey this is a good looking character, nice stealther would be like my rogue in wow.However after me and my friend duo'd up to 50, ran around pvping in the world and eventually into the lame arena type stuff called warzones, we decided to switch over to ranged, and guess what? now that we have done OP's, commandos, bounty hunters we see just how assassins are a joke.We were annoying on 2 assassins no matter what spec we played, however on 2 OPs, commandos, or BH's we are unstoppable.

melees still have a long way to go and alot of things they need to be competitive, the obvious favor is with ranged.

murdocpvp's are pretty good if you turn off the sound.however I have pretty much given up on my assassin and anything that uses melee since I found how easy it is to kill with ranged.Lightsabers and melee are lies.It just makes you fodder.

Not true those numbers are rare on a sin, In fact the only saber swinger thats on par are warriors really.Ranged has the obvious advantage, I cant count the times I killed ppl in the air and once targeted its pretty much a death sentance, they cant escape the range like they can the melee, anything using melee is fodder for the gun. At 32 me and a friend took down a full WH geared jedi, we simply ignored his pet and kited him until he died.We are now working on the rebel counterpart to our ops just to see if their is a difference and the rebel ones are much better.Even still though after playing commandos, bh's, snipers and gunslingers, anything with a gun is much more forgiving at lower gear levels and are so OP and unbalanced it isnt funny. Assassins/sages do not have the survivability that stealthers in other games do, in other games stealthers do mad damage, are pure glass tigers, thats why they work, in swtor, sins and such are simply fodder for a cannon, the stealth is too easy to be seen, i have had ppl see me and follow me in stealth and its rare to get the opening on a experienced player, yet you dont do any serious damage to them and any one with brains will just kite you laughing.And thats only IF you somehow dont end up stunlocked and cc'd watching your life bar hit 0 from all those ranged who now decided you are a free kill.

there will be no 3rd star wars MMO, the next time its tried it will be killed before it hits alpha because of swg and swtor.

wich is exactly why I didnt buy the game after the beta was up, didnt play it for this long and then bought it when the collectors edition only costed 15 bucks.I expect nothing good from ea due to past dealings with them and sony.However any other company releases a MMO and im all on the pre-orders and usually satisfied.Hell I even liked zone4 until they said i couldnt use joy2key.Id still recommend it as a simple pvp game.

well its not only the stuttering though, I have quite a few i7s and a i5 in my household, I also use a cable modem and a dsl in my household both are as high as i can get.I have laptops that can run multiple copys of other games on maxed out settings and my desktops look like something from nasa, really.On my main PC I can easily run 20 copys of wow, keyclone and dual box them all efficiently, in fact I do so every day with them all maxed out. Swtor however I have to turn off my second monitors or I see ribbons all over my screen like the old tkm animations.Once my second monitor is turned off, I have to make sure nothing else is running in the background, Also i cant play it in windowed mode it has to be fullscreen and everything in start menu has to be turned off. That could be dealt with easily enough however in addition to that it still stutters, takes forever to load screens, and really the only thing enjoyable is some parts of ground.Pvp in swtor is a joke at best, skill means nothing, its gear and stuns that win the day.Already got that in wow where the cc's are not as rampant and break on damage.at least there I am in control of any character I play 95% of the time.Much more fun, try it out. Even though I do hate to use wow to compare to this, its the easiest to do so with.once you get past the cartoony graphics of wow its still a better game, even though they tried to clone it with star wars, they failed. I played swg a long time, I put up with the CU, and the NGE and all the other changes that came down the pipe, I watched csr's do questionable things and can name specifics instances of certain csrs on lowca, and ahazi giving guildys jetpacks and such to provide advantages, so to come see this game in this shape after paying for it? yeah..there is a reason this games collectors edition sells for $15.00 bucks and its well deserved with the current state of it, Alot of fan boys are blinded by 'it's starwars i r teh jedi' syndrome, and do not see the imbalances and shortcomings of a playable game that takes some form of skill.

Ill ask a series of questions, in a order and we'll see if they get simple, non-fluff answers. 1. will my brand new sony vaio i7 model pcg-81114L that had a year warranty from sony and a recall on it for the problem that kept it sitting all this time ever get resolved? 2. will it ever be able to play a game without overheating after 20 minutes? 3. Why has no one honored that warranty and/or recall, instead giving me a run around about viruses < wich is funny seeing as how its never been able to be used long enough to run a virus > 4. If no one will honor that warranty or the recall on it do you think perhaps you can pay me back for the lap top I had to buy to replace that hunk of junk? I dont really expect a relevant answer because we all know its take the money and run with EA wich is why I asked em about a something not related to the game in question.And yeah i replaced that junk vaio and bought a PC from a real company who actually honors their word without trying to sidestep the issues in question. we dont want info on a new way to mass stun everyone into oblivion, we want answers as to why our overpowered hardware has issues running this simple minded program.

I agree with this 100% but id like to add a few things, SWG had the best pet system of ANY game I have ever played, unfortunately they nerfed it beyond rediculous and finally removed it.They should have had the hindsight to know people loved creature handlers, tkms and all of the stuff that made the masses flock to wow. they tried to go in a different direction with swtor? to most it looks like they tried to make a quick buck, Why did wow get so big in the first place? thats a simple answer, all the players who hated trials of atlantis, the nge and everything else EA was doing at the time migrated to wow because it came along at the right time when all those things were happening.It wasnt that great, however it was better than what was being done to the games we were playing. Alot put alot of hope into this game being better than wow, but as I sit here typing I am constantly reminded by this sony vaio i7 I payed all that money for that sony,ea and any company affiliated with them only care about the $$$$. this sony I own has spent more time off than it has on.It was warrantied yet they refused to fix it, recalled yet they refused to honor that and the thing wont even run a EA game.its why I no longer buy sony PC's they are overhyped and overpriced JUNK.The same is apparant of their games. I preorder 2 copys of warhammer online, I live in america.They sent me Euro versions of it.The pre order codes they promised came a full freaking month AFTER the game opened up.Thats the service you can expect.And like the many not discussed MMO's like matrix online, mco etc..this ones doomed by such practices too.

yeah just like it saved dcuo, matrix online and all the other ones they pulled the plug on right after they went f2p.The only thing thats going to save is peoples time that they can invest on doing other things.Watch and see.
