  1. He said "quality" in "EA" in the same sentance.... I wonder if he was able to keep a straight face?
  2. Actually, that's pretty useful. If you're playing a jedi and you search heavy armor and select that option it doen't show results for all those "requires BH", "requires BH or Sith Warrior" and "requires trooper" crap. Very very helpful, especially if you're looking for gear for your companions. The only complaint I have is that it shoud let you search by more than one modifier. Like willpower and defense or willpower and crit, not just one of the 3 and then have to scroll through 300 hits to find the one you want.
  3. Yes, please let me swap from mercenary to power tech, she's getting very dusty sitting in the corner. Or... just make mercenary not suck, that would work too.
  4. Looks like cartel coin armor to me.
  5. I actually like voss, tatooine and hoth, they don't make me feel clostrophobic. Absolutely hate taris and nar shadaa.
  6. That's what happens when Disney buys up your universe
  7. This. TBH, a couple times I've followed people around and done it to them after they ran in did it to me first, just out of frustration. Easiest way is to just let companion fight and grab up or destroy whetever clicky boxes are in there before fighting the mobs, otherwise some (insert your choice of pronoun here, language filter kills all my choices) is going to come get it and leave while you're fight. People suck, tbh.
  8. What's the point? It was just there to rope in the RP community and make them all excited about the "fighting the war" or whatever. Game's been released for over a year, either your playing or your not, they have nothitng to gain by wasting time on stuff like this.
  9. Like the game very much, just don't think much of the people that develope and produce it.
  10. I like it. It makes the game feel like part of the KOTOR series like it should. Also makes the game more fun for me.
  11. Me too. But this thread makes it pretty easy to see spot the unemployed guys living in their mom's basement.
  12. You know what, nvm. This clown isn't worth the effort.
  13. They're way too busy over-moderating these forums and squashing all resistance here.
  14. Cannot wait for more grinding, especially excited about replacing all my gear.... again Increased level cap = massive fail In stead of creating content that made people want to play they took the lazy way out.... way to go devs, don't drop your donuts.
  15. You can always just totally ingore the ones you don't use, you know. Even if I could I doubt I'd get rid of any (besides that damn ship droid) because someday I just might change my mind and want to use one for crafting to get some bonus and that's when I'd realized I spaced it 6 months ago. All I want is a mute all companions option so I don't have to listen to inane 12-year-oldness coming from my pet while I fight.
  16. Yes, and you know how you trigger it? Change zones. Yeah, hard stuff, I know. Like I had one character on the fleet and I was all "hey, where's my e-mail you b*****ds?" Then I took the elevator to the hangar level and suddenly go the e-mail. My character on Belsavis got it as soon as he went from one zone to the other on the rakata transporter doing dailies. The requirement is level 50.... and apparently, able to read.
  17. That would be too much like something we'd enjoy, so obviously we're never going to see it. Building something like that woud take way too much of their time away from recoloring armor sets for the cartel market.
  18. So, when you watch the movies do you sit there annoying everyone asking: how do the ships explode and burn with no oxygen? how come the ships and the lazers make sound in a vacuum? how do they make the light from the light saber stop when it gets out 1 meter? how do ships with no aerodynamics and no flight control surfaces fly in atmosphere? how come the ships don't burn up when they enter a planets atmosphere? how come every planet in their galaxy has breathable atomsphere and hospitable climates and only one in our galaxy does? how come when they walked out of the millenium falcon on that asteroid the didn't need environment suits? what keeps cloud city from crashing to the planet's surface?" if lazers move at the speed of light, how come we can see them when they shoot their blasters? Are you that guy? 'cause if you are, stay out of movie theaters. Seriously, it's a fantasy game based on a fantasy film series. Who gives a crap about physics?
  19. I would like you to explain how, because in SWG they were great. chatting around the starports, battlezones and cantinas was awesome, and you didn't have to be cosntantly staring at the freaking chat window in the corner of the screen. I would truly like to see how they could "ruin the community".
  20. I agree, I want chat bubbles too. However, they would have to do something about the chat system first because nobody wants to see a sea of chat bubbles and deal with 3 fps on the fleet where 200 people are standing in one spot all talking at the same time. What they should do: -Create a local chat channel with a limited radius, say only sees messages from players within 30-40 meters (could give you a slider to adjust if they were in a truly generous mood) -Give players the option to default to local channel for your primary chat channel, rather than defaulting to general chat. -Make chat bubble only function on local and group chat channels -Give players the option to limit how many bubbles will show at one time, starting with the closest player and working out (from 0-20 sounds like a good range to me). -Make chat bubbles generation client-based and not server-based so the server doesn't have to get bogged down with that and just has to run an additional chat channel. This would: -Give people that are just in love with arguing with everyone on the planet the option to not use the local channel and people that don't want to see all that garbage a chance to just use local chat with or without bubbles. -Give people the option to limit how many they are looking at or disable them altogether if they want. -Prevent everyone from dropping to 3 fps as the server tries to generate 200 chat bubbles on 200 players screen at the same time on 4 different instances of every planet simultaneously. I don't think you'd see too many people spewing stupidity in local chat, they wouldn't have a large enough audience to feed their ego if only the couple people near by could see what they were saying.... you all know who you are and you know I'm right, so your spam argument is right out the window.
  21. well... you can easily buy them if you have millions of creds. Of course what the small minority of overly rich crafters on most servers don't realize is that you can't sell stuff that expensive to the majority that don't have that kind of credits.
  22. That is when you get them. That's what determines which bag you get. For example if you choose mercenary you get a bag with a set of alacrity/crit armor and an offhand pistol vs. powertechs get a bag with crit/accuracy gear and a shield. The problem is it doesn't clearly tell you to look in your inventory for your new stuff. It should be a pop-up window with a quest reward so that you know it's being given to you. The first time I got one the only way I knew it was there is when the vendor wouldn't buy it from me.
  23. Even if they're mult-box mimics on one pc, someone is still throwing away $45 a month for no good reason.... unless it's a credit farmer
  24. All of the movies have hints and inspirations from those movies anyway. Lucas rants about all the movies and kinds of movies he drew inspiration from in every interview he's ever done. It's really the only thing he seems to love more than himself.
