  1. Scamming players on the GTN by listing prices this way = Working as Intended. Clicking on a node/mission objective when someone else is fighting the mobs to get to it = Working as Intended. Running in and tagging Martinique Desler first after someone has camped it for 8 hours = Working as Intended. There is nothing wrong here. This is the way the DEVS have structured the game. You can debate stuff like this all day, get mad about it in game, submit tickets to CSR's... but the bottom line is this is WORKING AS INTENDED.

  3. Taybelle's stronghold on Tatooine (Pub side) is publicly listed. It's well guarded, has an open bar, and you can see my Aratech collection.
  4. I cannot remember ever being able to buy/sell these on the GTN. I've always chalked it up to being just another way that BW screws over Artifice. Gormak Energy-Cell AlphaWave Inhibitor - crafted by Armstech and requires (1) Enriched Durasteel which is easily obtainable on the GTN Gormak Crystal AlphaWave Inhibitor - crafted by Artifice and requires (1) Perfect Upari Crystal which is only obtained by farming nodes that are rarer spawns. Artifice FTL. As usual.
  5. Han Solo used a modified DL-44, which I have not seen in game
  6. I must have spent 3 weeks grinding credits to prepare for the dreaded RNG factor in the casino. I walked in there with 4 million credits to blow on it, and won the rancor on my 3rd pull. My luck is never that good... well mostly never. Sorry to hear my normal bad luck somehow fell onto you.
  7. Go to your ship hanger and stand just inside the instance portal when you are not at the GTN or a vendor/trainer. You can still engage in general chat and be safe as no one else can enter but you.
  8. It's all about money. Large guilds get more reputation and experience bonuses then small guilds because they have more subs or preferred players who purchase weekly unlocks. With the guildships being 50mil.. Large guilds will get them almost immediately - small guilds will take a lot more time or maybe never Large guilds won't have to grind dailies and sell all of their accumulated mats/items to purchase a guild ship. Small guilds will grind and throw everything they get on the market at whatever they can get for it in order to make credits as quickly as possible to get a guildship. Once the market is flooded with mats and items, prices on the GTN will spiral downward. Player crafted items profit margins will go down with it., causing players to either quit crafting altogether or charge more for their items. Those spending real money on cartel coins will flood the market with CM items at better prices which makes BW more money. 50mil per guildship = BW making more money
  9. 138 Days 13 Hrs 49 Min across 12 toons
  10. Force bursts for a few seconds are one thing, and are supported by the prequels where you see Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon Jinn using force speed to escape in certain situations. However you also see that Jedi still use mounts and spaceships and all other modes of transportation. It is safe to assume that they cannot use the Force to sustain that speed for themselves for more then a few seconds at a time. If they could, you'd never see Anakin or Darth Maul riding on a speeder.
  11. It certainly would be nice for the statue to scale with your level and sell products within that range. However I'd hardly call it useless. You can use it at anytime so you never need to send your companions to sell anything. And once you spend the cc to unlock across your legacy, all of your toons can use it. I think its one of the best items in game, and could be improved by allowing it to scale with level.
  12. Sounds like you have embraced the corporate mentality. To quote a song by Tom Petty called "The Last DJ": "As we celebrate mediocrity All the boys upstairs want to see How much you'll pay for What you used to get for free" Fact is it used to be when you paid a monthly sub for something, you were entitled to get everything new for free. Companies have been working hard to change that mentality, Bioware being no exception. And people fall right in line with it with very little complaint. Some even seem to SUPPORT it. I understand that companies need to make money, and wish to make as much as they can. But the OP is right, there must be a reason behind this retirement of strongholds thing not penalized if you use CC to buy them. All he is looking for is an intelligent answer.
  13. So let me get this straight... -Since SWTOR went F2p in Nov 2012 and the current subs got a title and a mount -Since Bioware gives a monthly CC gift to anyone who maintains a sub for more then a month -Since subs got early access perks and whatnot when the game went live -Since you pay your $15.00 per month and feel happy These are the reasons you felt the need to troll my post. When did I state I was unhappy with any of those things? I was making a constructive post about my idea for a different type of reward system that would promote subscriber longevity in the game. We all know this game went F2P because there weren't enough subs, and that one of the goals of F2P is to create more subs. This idea makes perfect sense, and it really has nothing to do with the "what have you done for me lately" mentality that you seem to think I am saying here. That is simply not the case.
  14. Yes we need this. With the sheer number of cartel packs that have been released, it is insane to have to remember which one something in particular came out of... or you are left with going through 100 pages of stuff just to see if the item you are looking for is there.
  15. Yah really. Now that basic comms are incredibly easy to get, and Enriched Durasteel can be found in cartel packs or on the peddler vendor or on the GTN and Perfect Upari crystals can only be FARMED and not able to be purchased or sold... Comon Devs
  16. Most veteran/subscriber rewards have been based on having and maintaining a subscription from a certain date to another date in time. Why not give an exclusive reward to those dedicated SWTOR players who have subscribed since day one and maintained their sub the entire time? If the ultimate goal of F2P is to gain subscriptions and money through the Cartel Market,, then rewarding those for their loyalty would certainly send the right message to the player base that subbing and maintaining that sub is the way to go. You could then have future reward systems based on consecutive months of subscription time.
  17. I'm not trying to brag here, but it is my favorite moment so far in SWTOR: I must have spent hours and hours grinding creds for the casino event. My luck is usually so terrible that I figured it would take the better part of two months and millions if I were to even win the Rancor. I ended up with just over 3 mil and logged in right at 11am edt when the event went live. Went straight to the casino from the fleet, bought 50k worth of smuggler tokens and played the smuggler machines for about 5 minutes until I got roughly 7 Kingpin tokens. I went over to the kingpin machine and won the rancor on the 3rd click... probably even the server first who knows. My luck is never that good... well not usually
  18. I won the rancor on my 3rd kingpin token as soon as the event went live. I probably spent 10k on smuggler tokens at most.
  19. I won the rancor on my 3rd kingpin token as soon as the event went live. I won it so fast everyone was like "what is that noise? Did someone win already?" which means it could have been the server first but who knows. I also won two speeders, blew up two machines, and 10 certificates in roughly 90 minutes of play. I never purchased a Kingpin token, just used the ones I won from the Smuggler machines. But as Jamus said...after the patch the rate of Kingpin token wins from Smuggler machines has decreased by 50% or more. I totally believe the odds have been changed.
  20. OP, How is this surprising to you? When J.J. Abrams was announced as the director... this was inevitable. He changed the entire Star Trek universe from the opening shot of his reboot franchise. He'll change Star Wars too, just wait and see.
  21. My IA's name is Springbok I named him after Hans Von Kotze - codenamed "springbok" - who was a double agent that worked for German Intelligence and joined MI6 during WWII
  22. SWG was a really good game that could have been a GREAT game but it was shipwrecked by SOE. I don't agree in any state that it was "horrible".
  23. BARC Speeder AV-21 with two seat capability also I've suggested a "choose random speeder" button to be added to our vehicles tab that allows a random vehicle out of our pool to be called and stored. Some of us want to utilize the vast collection of speeders we have amassed easily.
