My wife was fine with me playing MMO's until I met another woman online and had an affair with her. Now she hates MMO's and me for a long time. I can't say that I blame her. It was the worst mistake I have ever made in my life. I am not proud of it, at all. And I'm so lucky my wife is still my wife. I have tried very hard to make amends, but you can never ever truly do that. It eats at you every day of your life. I've learned my lesson and solo play this one mostly. And not much more then 60 minutes a day if that. Take my advise, if you love your wife but find yourself falling into a situation with someone else online or in R/L, run away. It is best to remove that situation from your life, because no matter how much you may think you can control it, that is just an illusion. You can't.

My main's name in SWG was Sinnaman Shoogar. Since TOR takes place thousands of years before, I created his ancestors. Unlocked the Shoogar Legacy. My main is Taybelle, and I have alts named Kaine and Dommino.

I used to think it was weird for a guy to play a girl toon. I had the same exact feelings and questions about it as you. Then one day I decided to roll a female toon just because I had never done it. There's no difference whatsoever other then gender and in this game, the voice. I agree that some people would rather play male vs female depending on the class, etc. I probably would never play a female in a tanking role. Just doesn't seem right to me. But a female healer seems more then correct. Roll one and you'll have fun. That is what it is all about.

Like others have said, it was because Obi Wan was Anakin's master and had trained him. Anakin was much more powerful, but inexperienced and reckless. Obi Wan had the experience and could calmly counter Anakin's moves and keep him at bay. this is why Yoda sent Obi Wan to deal with Anakin...Yoda knew that Sidious was much too powerful for Obi Wan to handle and even though Anakin was also more powerful, Obi Wan was smarter then him.

I rolled a sith inquisitor last night. This dude looks like a cross between Hulk Hogan and Skeletor...but when he spoke he sounded like Michael Caine?!?! I was hugely disappointed. I wanted a Darth Maul voice, and I got Hello Kitty.

This game is pretty much exactly like wow with a few subtle differences. I was hoping for something different.

Agree with most replies, leveling is fine if you actually have a life. At times it seems a bit slow to be honest, but it certainly does not need to be longer. I've been playing since pre-launch and have a 36, an 11, and a 3.

I have everything set at max and have never had a single issue. My system is about a year old, running Windows 7 Ultimate. Phenom II X6 3.2 8GB RAM GTX470 Hardware cost 700 bucks a year ago

You needed a brain to play and enjoy SWG when it launched. This game is better for a lot of people.

I would like to see the legacy system not make you wait until you are 30 something to be able to choose your name. I am a casual and have been playing since day two of early access, and still have not unlocked the name yet. I am a veteran MMO player and am averaging 1-2 hours a day I mostly solo quest but have done a fair share of heroics. Most likely the name I want is long gone and it makes no sense to make normal players who have a life to wait this long to get one.

I see some others are having issues patching, but i haven't had any until today. The 22mb patch came back with an error, and the repair triggered an 11gb download that will take half the night to complete. You are kidding me right? WTH is up with that?

I agree, this game is not amazing. It is good, and it should get better in the weeks/months to come. I have my list of things that I'd like/wouldn't like added to this game, but there are hundreds of posts referencing this stuff. My advise is if you like star wars and mmo's, stick around for a bit.

Macro's are ok. 3rd party UI/Add-ons have a lot to offer but in wow I found it tedious to keep them updated, especially after any little patch can break them. Also the whole issue of "you must download this to join my raid". So I'd vote no for those.

Perhaps he is talking about when players are running through cities and out of combat. The sabers make no noise at all and they look like a bunch of doofuses running around like that. I agree with the OP, it's dumb. I never once saw Obi-Wan running around the jedi temple holding a powered saber.

This must be sarcasm because the forums were down. I have no idea why the forums are down while a game is down. Same goes with this website having a queue. what website have you ever seen that has a freaking queue? Idiocy.

I don't expect any significant impact. We'll all still be waiting in ridiculous queues regardless of how many people buy this game tomorrow
