  1. Drops are typically BOP. But a Cybertech could RE it with a 20% chance to learn it and craft BOE version.
  2. My bad I missed the part with the 2nd defender winning with time left. Now that would be a bug. Not surprised since there are always unintended side effects to the patches (not that I'm happy about it just saying it seems to always happen).
  3. Not a bug. It's working correctly. Team 1 starts with a full clock (I think it's 8 minutes but could be off). You reach the bridge with 1:30 left. When team 2 starts they should of started with only 6:30 on the clock so all they have to do is get as far before the clock ends. Now it's completely possible that there is a bug and team 2 is not getting a shortened clock. I haven't PvP'd since 1.4 so bugs are possible but since the last PvP changes months ago it always has been as long as team 2 go to the same point before their clock ran out, they won.
  4. According to Dev notes it looks like a lot of the mechanics of EC SM are going to be removed or lessened come 1.4. I wouldn't be shocked to see it added to group finder shortly after that.
  5. for now........ Level cap will be raised to 55 in the near future. But I know he was making a joke.
  6. Ran EC HM last night on the Shadowlands. 42 instances of Denova at that time. No lag to speak of. Maybe a hitch here or there but I didn't notice. A guildie was doing HM FP when we were nearing the end of the OP and he did say there was lag in BT HM. So the issue may be more in the FPs than OPs. Don't have enough info to say yes or no either way.

  8. Guild: Away From Keyboard Faction: Imperial Explosive Conflict: 4/4 HM 8 man Eternity Vault: 5/5 NiM 8 man Karagga's Palace: 5/5 NiM 8 man
  9. Plus everyone will have access to HK-51 in the near future (hopefully). It will have effiency & crit bonuses to all skills. Unsure if you can stack the crafting driod parts on top of that. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?p=5106507
  10. QFT. These are the classes that I've found have the best chance of pulling past the opening 20s. PTs really need an agro dump like every other class has.
  11. Since a couple of weeks after 1.3 I've played the Imm/Veng hybred for tanking. I clear EC HM every week for about a month now (I know this isn't some sort of badge but trying to put into context the content I've seen). I went to this build for a couple of reasons, 1 of which was I felt like I generated more threat quicker and was able to hold mobs better. I do find that holding argo is still a bit touchy for the first 15-20s. For this time I do put my taunts in my rotation and I find nothing wrong with doing so. For example Toth & Zorn I start with saber throw > leap > Impale > Force Scream > taunt. About 8s later I throw my aoe taunt out to make sure it stays in place. Single target taunt is back up before the leap happens. I also make sure to throw out the single taunt at the start of frenzy/rock throwing phase and the red crap on the ground phase. I've gotten away without using them at these times but like the security of doing it. I do think Immortal need more threat gen. It should be tied into items higher up in the tree. I get why the damage was nerfed in 1.3 but even with the revamp it left a bit to be desired for me and I was full Immortal prior to the 1.3 revamp. I'm hoping this will happen when they raise the level cap and adjust the trees. Just my opinion here.
  12. Black hole earpieces, mods & non-slotted armoring can be RE'd and learned. Has a 20% success rate. All are BOE.
  13. No more than one companion per player can battle at one time. if you group up with other people you can have a total of 4 in the group. So 2 players & 2 companions or 3 players & 1 companion.
  14. Belts and bracers are a single piece, no mods or armoring. Everything else (helm, chest, etc) is just the shell.
  15. Quoted for truth. Not that you can't get by but it is the path of least resistance.
  16. Not sure if you are in a guild or not. If you are then in recruit gear you should be geared enough to do many of the HM FP, SM OPs and even HM EV (pulled 2 healers though in basically all recuit day over the weekend). I wouldn't recommend pugging it as pug groups can be less forgiving and patient. If you aren't, then I'd recommend joining one. End game is a lot better when you can find a group of like minded people to work on it with.
  17. The reusable ones aren't the best, but they are very good. If you PvE then reusable adrenals are a huge money saving and a nice boost to have. Cybertech, Armstech & Artificer and RE and learn schematics for rank 26 armoring (non slotted from Kephess HM), mods, enhancements, hilt, barrels.
  18. Can't learn 25s at all. For the 26s make sure they are drops and not crafted by someone else. If they are crafted by someone else then you can not learn it. You don't need to do anything else prior to learning them.
  19. It doesn't hurt to give a shout out especially on higher end items. Nice to craft a 500k item knowing you have a COD waiting for it. But I wouldn't spend hours doing it. It's something I do for 10 minutes or so when I'm hitting the GTN looking for deal or post other items.
  20. There is also this guide post made quite a while ago which holds true. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=45866
  21. Basically when the message apears about widening his target, look for a target on the ground and get out of it. Did this with a pug group of close to 16 and was shocked when about 7 of them didn't move. A lot of bosses have a mechanic like this. You'd figure people would know by now. Other than that tank & spank. He will slow the tank so it'll be a bit harder to get out of the earthquake than everyone else.
  22. unless you plan on REing rank 26 enhancements and/or relics or leveling more alts, no IMO.
  23. They finally made it where you could no longer pass it on but I saw someone over the weekend who still had it. Personally I found it rather funny to see how long could the plague last even with how log the pop got shortly there after.
