  1. Grade 5 slicing parts mission. You'll need an armortech to learn the schematic and re it from green to blue to purple (if you so choose).
  2. I did HM EC Tuesday night. It has a cast bar there still. It's a NM EC mechanic/bug only. Hoping it's a bug.
  3. correct. Campaign armoring with set bonuses can be bought for black hole comms (38-44 comms each IIRC). The non-slotted ones you can craft are ideal for orange bracers, belts & some offhands.
  4. You can't RE armoring that is slotted (head, chest, etc) to learn the schematic. You will still get mats including stabilizers. You can RE generic armoring found in offhand foci, generators, etc & drops from Kephess.
  5. I've run something similar in the past. I haven't PvP with my Jugg in a while mostly because my play style really needs a healer who knows I'm guarding them and trying to keep them alive rather than random pugging. DPSing a target to 30% is slow compaired to other DPS but has enough burst to kill many classes sub 30% with impale --> vicious throw --> scream. But between guard and taunts I would be an asset to a team often topping 200k damage protection and personal best being 340k. Also as you said it's a good build for huttball. A lot of tools at hand. As for gear I went with a shield generator, the rest was all dps gear. Just what I did and had fun for a while playing that way.
  6. Looking for a guild with 9:30-10:00pm Eastern start time on OPs during the week. Currently have tank and DPS in 61+ gear. I've cleared HM TFB as DPS. Would be bringing a friend who availability for OPs is much more sporadic than mine.
  7. Alderaan has a bonus series you can get at 40. Quest giver is near the PvP quest box on the fleet (Mistress Amaran).
  8. yes, see below. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=554759
  9. BoE Only ones that were BoP are the Rakata schematic you can buy from the trainer.
  10. Pre 1.5 I have never ever had this happen. And I've run more than my fare share of missions. Now I wouldn't be shocked if they changed it in 1.5 however it wasn't in the patch notes.
  11. Basically always from EV & KP HM OPs. The trash can drop them and use to be the only way to get the schematic. However the chances of finding them were very very low. Personally only seen it drop 3 times and I've been running OPs since February.
  12. QFT But like others have said the mid levels will sell ok too. You won't get the big 2M credit sale of a Might 27 hilt but you can turn a good profit over the cost of mats that those levels.
  13. Or you could of gone to the GTN, looked up the stim, hit the RE button on you inventory and mouse over the item from the GTN listing. It'll show your RE chances with out having to buy or make the item in the first place. But answer is no you can't RE Exotech and the Devs stated a while back that all future levels of comsumables will not have a reusable counterpart. rakata will be the last reusables you can ever get unless the Devs change their minds.
  14. Either put in an ingame ticket or wait until tomorrow, do the quest again and get the reward you want next time.
  15. Best to check the server forums. Here is a link the the crafter's page for shadowlands. Unfortunately what you are looking for isn't listed so plan B would be to hit up general around prime time one night. Good luck. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=549329
  16. your gear is fine for everything except HM EC, HM TFB & probably the Nightmare modes (but no real reason to run NM now anyway). Yeah you'll want revivication as it really shines in PvE. Pugging OPs in GF is hit or miss. What I've seen on shadowlands is some people will group up first an then hit the GF to get the comms. That would probably be your better bet if you wanted to hit SM EV or KP for BH Comms. GF for HM FP other than Lost Island is usually a quick way to get BH comms. Most can be done in under 30 minutes if you know what trash to skip past. And the bosses prior to the last one really don't drop much of use (typically tionese grade or worse). Some people are short sighted and cry about PvP gear in OPs. Personally I have zero issues with it. A few weeks ago our guild hit HM EV & KP with both healer being fresh 50s in basically recruit gear. Rest of the OP ranged from over geared tank in optimized campaign gear to some near fresh 50 DPS. Everything went fine. Knowing how to play your class > gear. Other than that I don't thin you missed much. Hope you enjoy the PvE side too.
  17. Another option I've done recently for first time buyers is I will give them a deposit for the mats they give me. Example: Seller (me) has Skill Barrel 26 listed for 100k + mats (takes 2 matrix & 6 stabilizers and other stuff). Currently on Shadowlands stabilizers are on the GTN for about 200k and matrix are 50k. Buyer trades me the mats. I give them 1.3M credits. When I’m done crafting I trade or COD back the item and get 1.4M in return. Protects both parties from getting ripped off and usually after 1 or two trades like this both sides stop worrying about the “deposit”. Also if I see people looking to buy items in general that I don’t have I’ll direct them to people I know have the item and won’t rip them off even though they aren’t in my guild (I’m the lone high end crafter in my guild). Reputation goes a long way in MMOs.
  18. This is correct. Battlemaster/Rakata (rank 58) and under is tied to the shell. War Hero/Campaign (rank 61) and above are tied to the armoring mod.
  19. The mechanic is suppose to be that if you are the one who gets pounded into the ground and then you take a swipe while you have the debuff from the pound still on you, you will get the 35k hit. And as you probably know the swipe is a very wide arc in front of the boss (about 180 degrees). That being said I have seen a handful of times since I started doing KP on all difficulty setting that occasionally someone without the debuff will get hit with the swipe for 35k. Haven't figured out any consistency on how or why it happens. Usually we just rez the person, laugh at them and move along. Edit: If you want to see excessive damage look at the combat logs if a person doesn't clear doom during the 2nd boss fight in TFB. Hits for around 15M damage.
  20. Shield Gen/Foci type of offhands have the force power set by the armoring that is placed in them (similar to barrels for knifes & hilts for light sabers). Now if you meant that updated all the mods of the shield and not just the one piece called mods, you could try doing a UI reload (CTRL+U twice). I'm seeing more and more times that items aren't updating correctly on screen and doing the UI reload has helped with most of them.
  21. Correct. One other thing that was added while you were gone is adaptive armor (typically social gear). It allows all classes to use it and retain the maximum armor value they should get. Meaning if a sorc/sage puts it on it'll act like light armor but if a BH/Trooper puts it on it'll act like heavy armor. just more optiuons to get the look you might want.
  22. Very very nice guide man. I'm sure there will be a bunch of people that this will help out.
  23. Looks like you got my luck from crafting the 26s. currently at 8 crits in 163 tries for the rank 26 items I craft (under 5%). But as the guy above stated it'll happen and you'll probably crit 3 out of 4 times to make up for it.
