  1. One thing to check is your accuracy. If you haven't go it up to 100% (starts at 90%) then you area missing on some of your melee swings and losing out on generating hate. I haven't gotten into OPs or hard modes yet (at lvl 43) but I've loved how this class plays so far. It could use a tweak or some love here or there but it think tanking on it is fine overall. Of course the last MMO I spent major time on was Age of Conan and in there you had to work it to get/hold/share agro.
  2. I had that it's like this but you are so right. Instead of saying "Hey Item_A is doing well. Let's see if we can improve Items_B-E to be as good but different" it's usually "Hey Item_A is doing well. We need to bring it down to Items_B-E level".
  3. Where there are people yelling for a nerf there is always a chance of it happening. But I took bio on my Jugg (now lvl 43) from the start and I'm glad I did. The reusable med packs & stims that you can RE have made playing a lot easier. You can make some really good implants from both the regular trade vendor and picking up recipes. I took the time to RE a few to purple level and now sell a bunch that I made for either myself or my friend and done alright credit wise doing this (not 4 million credits like some people say they did per nerf but I buy what I want when I want it).
  4. I don't mind Huttball but it seam like it's 90% of the warzones I end up playing. I'm not hard core PvPer or anything but I've probably done 20-25 huttballs to 4 anything else since launch.
  5. Crafted green, blue or purple items have a chance for an augment slot. Orange items deal with things like Armoring, Hilt, Barrel, Mod, etc allowing them to be more customizable and updated while leveling.
  6. I can confirm that you can still get to max rank (I went light side Sith Jugg) while earning darkside points along the way. Because I had diplomacy as a crew skill I got there very fast and have don't both dark and light side crew quests to get crafting items I needed. Once I got to enought lightside points to reach cap (somewhere over 10000) my darkside point actually disappeared from my calc (stated 10000 light side, 0 dark) which I know wasn't true. Since I still do some darkside missions I continually dip from cap and then go back to it. On a side note not that it's a huge deal yet but it would be nice if you could go slight over the level 5 points needed (say 11000 or something) so I don't keep flipping from rank 5 to 4 and back to 5. I haven't gotten to the point where it matter but if there is ever an item that requires rank 5 then it could be. *edit: damn 2 people typed faster than me. Starting to slip in my old age.
  7. Full list of the secondary stat descriptions that I found online. •Presence – boots companion health, damage and healing •Power – adds melee, force and tech damage •Force/Tech Power – Found on weapons, works like Power but does not provide melee/ranged damage •Accuracy – Gives +hit and gives armor/spell pen over 100% •Crit – gives melee, force and tech crit •Surge – increased critical damage •Armor – reduces physical and kinetic damage (all Tech and Force powers unless listed otherwise are Kinetic) •Defense – increases Parry/Deflect (deflect is just ranged parry) •Shield – increases chance to be shielded on attack •Absorption – increases the % of damage shaved off shielded attacks •Alacrity – Cast/channel Haste •Expertise – PvP stat. Increases damage and healing done, reduces damage taken.
  8. Augments can be found by doing slicing missions. They are very random and give a boost to 1 stat. You can find a couple on the trader usually but 99.99% of the slicing missions people do are for cash lock boxes so you won't see many for sale. Plus since the augment slot only appears on crafted items when a crit happens, you'll see few items with augment slots around.
  9. I believe they are one time only uses. At the very least the 3 or 4 I've gotten my hands on have not shown back up on my crew task window in over 48 hours since being used. Edit: Damn KYarb for typing faster than me.
  10. I've found there is a big market for implants. Grabbed a recipe of the trader for strength implant (lvl 29 I believe) for about 680 credits. RE the purple recipe out of it and have sold around 14 of them so far for 8k regular craft, 10k critical. Most haven't stayed on the market for more than 10 minutes. Maybe I'm under valueing them but hard to tell when I'm the only one selling them and making a sold enough prophet to get what I want in game while leveling. *Will add in name of item once servers come back up.
  11. There is a quest giving terminal behind the chair you use to access the star chart. Are you grabbing the quest before you hop in? Also are you completing the bonus objectives? You should be seeing atleast lease double that XP from my limited experence.
  12. I did hear chatter during beta that the Devs were looking at putting in an AC reset but it wasn't going to be in for launch. So just hold out for a bit and I'm sure your wish will be answered.
  13. When I've done it I get the message about the compainion being off already but if you look at the crew window it'll show the additional items waiting to be crafted.
