  1. I like the idea of new models for cybertech but I doubt BW/EA will take them out of the cartel market since they can charge ~$15 for a speeder and people will buy them.
  2. It's level 47+ items that give you MK-6 parts as stated before. This is because there are some skills (like cybertech) that don't have green items from trainers to learn that are level 49 or 50. Armorings and mods don't count for cybertechs as they don't yield parts.
  3. Rip them out of dread guard/hazmat pieces and RE them. You have a 20% chance to learn them. Or get one crafted, place into a modable piece, remove and RE them (this removes the "crafted by" limitation). Same 20% chance. I only add this since BW has stated it isn't an exploit to do it.
  4. No. medpacks are for yourself only. There are ones that will work on you and your companion at the same time but none work on other players.
  5. RE from the main hand dread guard weapon. Drops from HM Terror from Beyond. 20% chance to learn.
  6. Also if you don't mind the rail shooter aspect the space missions have a very good XP reward. They do get dull quickly IMO but worth doing.
  7. Complete agree with you as I use to do my fair share of end game crafting. I didn't always have mats on hand or want to premake a lot of items to have on hand. One thing I did have was credits. So as a rule for some first time requests I would have no issue with giving the person I was crafting for a deposit for the mats they were giving me. So they give me 800k in mats, I gave them 800k in credits. When I was done I would COD it back for 800k. This way all parties were covered. Usually with repeat clients I didn't have to do this but I also never scammed anyone. Moral is unless you either know the crafter or they are recommended to you, cover yourself cause no one else will. And as someone else said if he is in a guild, see if you can get in touch with the guild leader or officer. Most guilds don't want to have their reps tainted by people like this and will try to make it right.

  9. Affection. each 2k = +1% crit chance (get purple mats) One time use gathering missions will always bring back purple mats. Mission can be found via slicing.
  10. When you start with a blue schem, the 1st tier of upgrade takes double the blue mats. The 2nd tier of upgrades will take some purple mats. Both tier of items are purple. And yes it would be easier if they listed it on one line instead of two but I have come to accept it for what it is.
  11. Even doing this just the first time out helps. The 1st 20% is going to be the hardest to get though. This is because by the time defensive systems kicks in and you locate where the shields are you should of burned off another few %. Done this for NM and it does help eliminate that issue.
  12. This and the fact that when you had more than a handful of people fighting in the same area it lagged out even the best systems.
  13. Only thng you can RE and make are rank 26 & 27 barrels and probably the empty skins of campaign & dread guard weapons. Other than investigation you have a couple of augment types you can make (power being the most popular). All of those schematics come from slicing.

  15. Matters a good deal as people have stated. This is what I've done the last 3 toons I've leveled and all of which I've pvp'd quite a bit on (all DPS Specs). lvl 1-20: quest rewards for gear. Mix of greens & blues. No Augments. My HP in a WZ is around 11k-12.5k. lvl 20-44: I craft myself a set of orange gear, augment it and fill with blue quality items. Ear & implants are crafted blues or if I have the schematics purples. Make sure I have some sort of relic (matrix for 1 slot and anything in the other). My HP in a WZ is around 14k-14.5k. lvl 45-50: Last round of crafting. Everything purple quality. My HP in a WZ is around 16k-17k. Stats will slowly reduce as I get closer to 50.

I didn't reread everything to check to see if this is where it was stated that the additional power from the EWH relic still didn't push it back past the Dread Gruad relics or if I found that in a different post.   17. That is no longer the case. There is so much power on the dread guard relics that they have finally overtaken the PvP relics for PvE. They have been tested by users and results have been posted in a handful of different locations on the forums. I don't have the links on this computer so I can't relink them easily.
  18. The Dread Guard relics, ear pieces & implants are the rank 27 version of their items. Ear pieces drop from Zorn & Toth in NM EC and have a change to drop a couple of other places (1st boss in HM TFB for example). Relics are sold for 300 daily comms from the daily vendors.   19. Yes you need to be 400 in the skill. And here is the complete list for everthing you can craft: artifice=enhancement, hilt, relics armstech=barrel cybertech=unslotted armoring, mod, earpiece biochem=implants Synthweaving & Armormech can learn the empty shells but no one really want them for the crafting price.
  20. 1. Make sure Xalex is set to his tanking stance in his abilities. It'll allow him to generate more agro than in no stance or an offensive one. I never notice much different between the two agro wise but I will admit I haven't used either of them a lot. 2. Khem's armor will never show. His entire appearance is set by the companion customization you have equipped. There are vendor on the planet which carry some additional looks. I know Taris has a couple for Khem.

  23. I know with PvE gear if you leave the armoring inside the shell and re the shell you would get Energy Matrix & Stabilizers (by Armormech/Synthweavers). I haven't tried with PvP gear yet to confirm if this is still true.
  24. If you have an orb and you get the lightning puddle it will distroy the orb. So if you get an orb just taunt the boss back and take the next puddle. What you discribed is what the tanks on the TFB clears I've been on will do if they can. We still have dps go out too and try to pick them up just in case as tanks do have a lot on their plate as is. Basically keep the orbs off the healers and everything will work out fine.
