  1. I've seen cases where they had give some Missions a reset or just implemented them again. All I asked what a similar thing.. or even just cancel SoR and KOTFE off my Quest log with hopes of seeing a possible fix.. but they kept replying with the same answer. They kept saying that "Starting KOTFE blocks all progress with all companions" yet I had said that I managed to speak Dorne, Forex, Yuun and Vik.. every single conversation with no issues.
  2. I try to be as polite as I can be, even check the Ticket several times for any sort of grammar mistakes... and place as much information as needed... and still get ridiculous posts with all small characters and lack of commas.... filled with automatic stuff that fills it in and surveys...
  3. I cannot buy subscription with Skype due to the restrictions implemented to my card. That is why I only use Paysafe Cards when I do online purchases.
  4. There are no warnings about losing all progress in a Companion's development when accept SoR or KOTFE(only when clicking PLAY tho) This doesn't explain why Jorgan was the only one affected.
  5. I played a full Light Jedi Consular... and even though she had some disagreements with Koth, he always stood up for her. I noticed that in some walkthroughs he actually tries to fool the main character or cause even more trouble, but not on mine. He had some impact during the first chapters in KOTFE and just stopped being around at the end and during KOTET. I romanced Lana and always made her the main focus.
  6. Then I guess I'm just unlucky... because if that was me, they would say that they don't have the power to restore characters.
  7. I have played many, many games... and some of them required some kind of Support. Even programs and websites. And to be honest, by far, the SWTOR one has been the worst of all. So, I am going to tell you guys the experiences that I've gone through with the Customer Support of SWTOR. You are free to lend your opinion on the matter or share your own good or bad experiences. Situation 1: When I first started SWTOR, I was a F2P. I was aware of the limitations, but after playing the game for a few days and discussing it with a friend, we decided that we should Subscribe. I didn't want to buy 60 days already. I needed to try it better, so I attempted to purchase the Origin bundle that cost me 13€. I didn't play the game that night because it was getting late, but in the following day I tried to login, but the launcher kept mentioning some kind of error. The website wasn't working as well. Every single time I tried to login the website would reload and refuse the attempt. I couldn't use the Forums and I couldn't find any solution online. I had no choice but to call them... and I did. The first person on the other side of the line was rather polite. I explained everything to him and he told me this issue would need to be directed to another department, and that he was going to redirect me.... and the call crashed. I called again, disconnected once more. Third time's the charm? This one took a bit longer... but in the end the man said the account was dead; that I needed to make a new one, even a new Origin account and that I should call them again tomorrow. My Origin account was also affected... broken and Origin support couldn't do anything about it. So I called them a last time. It was a woman now, she was polite and friendly... even told me that it would be best to continue communicating through email due to the expensive phone pricing. Later in that day I received an email from her. She had restored my account game and Origin account, added the Subscription time. I then noticed that the monthly CC were gone, so I contacted the in-game Support; a few days later there was no answer. I sent her another email and she added the coins. Yes, it ended up "happily" in the end... but it cost me around 20€ or more in phone calls... Situation 2: This one is recent. So, back at December when I first joined, I created a Trooper. She was my very first character. And sometime ago I got her to Level 70 and finished the Class Story. But before I even got to finish the Class Story I had accepted Shadow of Revan and KOTFE(but didn't click PLAY as it had been by accident). I did a few SoR missions with a friend and so on. I decided to ignore these and continue with the Class Story. I started to notice that Aric Jorgan wasn't giving me any sort of conversations inside the ship and that after I gave him that promotion he went mute altogether. My other companions were working fine, but Jorgan never said a thing ever again. After using the Forums I decided to contact Support. I created two in-game Tickets; sent two emails and contacted two Staff members directly through here. Around 3-4 days later I started to receive responses. Unlike that woman I had met months ago, these people acted like bots... and they couldn't even use commas and grammar at all. From four tickets, I got the same answer: "Lmao, we don't care. Go remake the character or something". I answered the emails trying to explain it further because it seemed like they hadn't understand the subject at all. One of them ignored me and the other said that the Customer Support could not control the game, just help in technical issues regarding payments and the account... and that I would have to either wait for a Patch to fix it or make a new character. I asked if there was a way to bring back my old gear... and even if it was possible to re-send me a box of a Golden Cartel Market armor back to the new character I had made. The person said no. Not only did I end up wasting hours and credits on this character... I also had to use Cartel Coins to get her the old armor back.. and I can't fully costumize my companions the same way they were before. There was another situation where I had gotten myself a set, but didn't like it as much as I had hoped for. I contacted Support asking if it was possible to refund it.. in a way where the armor would be removed from my Collections and placed back into my inventory. They said no as well. I mean... they can't manipulate the game nor do any exceptions. What good is this Support if a person has to spend so much money just to get something right? It's unfair. I'm not even going to comment at how misplaced the Support is. Most of these people can't even write properly. I even got better Support from dead Free-To-Play Gameforge games...
  8. Oh wow.. how did I get that wrong.. I did know that it was set before. I mean, it's obvious. These mistakes just spill by sometimes. Thanks for the heads up!
  9. I once faced a few bots on Guild Wars 2. It completely ruined the PvP experience and made the whole match impossible to play. Staff decided to ignore the tickets over there. Let's hope the same doesn't happen to SWTOR.
  10. Whether you like it or not, Quinn was an asset.
  11. I did read somewhere that it cost more than 200 million to produce. The base game anyway. No clue how much the extras have added into it. Also, found this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_most_expensive_video_games_to_develop
  12. Some of those sound like a nice add, thanks.
  13. The issue will come afterward as the article is not yet finished. For a Top 10, I only mentioned 5. I am going to mention the F2P system and so on, but I'm not entirely familiar with the endgame issues as I pretty much avoid it. If you have some to share, I'll gladly add it. They wouldn't be "hyped" about it anyway. It wouldn't even become their main focus, but something to share time to time.
  14. How is this possible? I raised four different tickets regarding a companion and its missions and all they had to say was We can't do s***, sorry.
  15. They could use all sorts of weapons before?... Darn.
  16. ATTENTION: This is not a thread meant to complain about the bad things and the overall letdowns of this game. It is about a project that I'm working on, an article of some sort. I'd appreciate your opinion and help on the matter. I don't know if this is the case for you people, but I always had trouble convincing friends and people who are looking for new MMOs to try when it comes to SWTOR. They just call it childish because it's Star Wars or that the gameplay looks too wonky and boring... but without actually giving it a try. Never really had time to explain them properly why they should give it a chance at least. So I'm working on some kind of article to point a Top 10 Reasons as to why someone should give it a go. I would like for you guys to help me elaborate. Tell me why you find the game enjoyable. I'll post some of the points I've written, and I wouldn't mind some corrections or maybe new things to add to it. I will also mention some of the bad things such as the Free-to-play system and some lack onf content, but since I do not take part of the endgame entirely, I'd be grateful if you could share your thoughts on this as well. The list is incomplete as you can see. Reason 1: THE STORY Being a BioWare game, there’s a big emphasis on the story and characters. It follows the same benchmarks: a dialogue wheel; character customization; a variety of choices and consequences and a morality system. The story takes place 3,000 years before the original trilogy during a cold war between the Sith Empire and the Galactic Republic. The game offers eight classes; four on the Republic side and the other four on the Empire side with several different ways of playing it. You can be a Jedi Knight or a Consular, a Smuggler, a Trooper, a Sith Warrior or an Inquisitor, a Bounty Hunter or even be part of the Imperial Intelligence. SWTOR has worn many praises regarding its story. Critics and the fan base consider the Jedi Knight’s storyline to be the main focus of the game and the Agent the best piece of storytelling that the game is capable to offer with its unexpected twists and effort. The overall story of each class is entwined with one another and your choices shape the outcome of the game. It also throws back a few references to the movies. As a plus, SWTOR has its share of breath-taking trailers created by Blur Studio who has previously worked for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, Deadpool, Mass Effect, Halo, League of Legends, The Elder Scrolls, etc… Reason 2: THE CHARACTERS Just like in the other BioWare games, you meet a share of companions and encounter a great share of personalities as you play. You’re given the option to be a complete douche, neutral or more. The game even allows your character to get into a romantic relationship with a fellow companion. Later in the game same-sex relationships were introduced as well. Other characters such as those with minor roles and even the ones with huge plot points surrounding such as a few villains can even be as memorable as your fellow companions. They’re well-developed and have their own reasons and traits. Reason 3: THE STYLE SWTOR has its unique look to it. I find it quite appealing, and as a bonus the game tries to run smoothly on all sorts of computers. The characters are expressive and each planet has its exclusive touch it; they’re easily recognizable and there are rarely any recycled assets. The game’s overall aesthetics provides that sci-fi vibe and a lot of consideration was put into detail. Reason 4: THE GAMEPLAY SWTOR follows the traditional combat of a MMORPG while adding a few deviations to it. At first glance, it looks like your average MMORPG but as you get used to it, you may find it rather enjoyable. You can select a companion to quest alongside you and design it a role in order to help you accomplish your goals. Each class has its own share of rules and focus. The obvious main focus of SWTOR is the Story and its PvE(Player vs. Environment) which can be soloed pretty easily depending of the difficulty you choose. There’s also content that requires you to team-up with friends or complete strangers in Dungeons and Raids. For those who prefer to be competitive, there’s also PvP(Player vs. Player). There are even sections of the community that commit themselves to friendly Roleplay. Reason 5: THE VOICE-ACTING The voice-acting in SWTOR is top notch and features countless well-known actors. SWTOR even found itself on Guinness World Records for its record-breaking as the Largest Entertainment Voice Project Ever with over 500,000 lines of recorded dialogue by hundreds of actors. All missions are voiced and feature several choices and outcomes, even the side ones.
  17. Now that you mention that... it's quite sad that only 11% actually moved on from Coruscant/Dromund Kaas. :s
  18. I came across this "flyer" of 2014 that showed how many characters have been created, hours poured into it.. and so on. I found it quite interesting and even baffling. More than seventeen million Jedi. That's just insane. You can find the picture here: http://i.imgur.com/ygZpPZA.jpg or in much better resolution here: http://i.imgur.com/J2Fxv41.png Now it's been three years. Is there any "updated" version or official stuff from EA/Bioware or anything? I'm really curious about it.
  19. The Customer Support cannot "touch" the game's settings and questlines and so on. As they have told me over four times by now, only by reporting this as a Bug might fix it.... in two years maybe.
  20. It did, but is there a way to carry over the Legacy thing without transf. a character?
  21. I believe it's safe to assume that some of the weapons that allow us to modify them aren't exactly... pretty... while others are incredibly pricey? Some of the regular ones are actually simple and nice. Who wouldn't like to be able to use s different kind of weapon skins depending of their outfit? We don't really need a dye module for these items, but I'm sure it would be a great addition to allow us to select any kind of skin for a weapon.
  22. My main characters are located on the European server Red Eclipse. My Legacy there is called Oathkeeper and I've unlocked a few share of things by now. When I made a test character on a different server I noticed that nothing I had unlocked previously is available. I had this neat idea of remaking my main characters into different classes, but sadly that doesn't seem possible. Is there a way to keep my Oathkeeper on a different server? And what happens when one person transfers a character to a different server?
  23. Only a developer would be able to actually fix this issue. The Support made it pretty clear; there's nothing I can do. My only choice is to fully remake her... that is going to be a pain. So much money and time I'll have to spend on this character again. Truly wish there was a way to get her old things back with ease. Wish me luck and thank you guys for all of your comments and attempts. I am also no longer a subscriber. Hopefully I can still use the Forums.
  24. I have an update. Two of my replies have been answered. However, it seems like the people who did gave it read did not fully understand or simply chose to ignore most of the paragraphs. One stated that accepting the quest would make me unable to talk at all with any of the companions or finish the Class Story. Guess what? I finished the Class Story and spoke to everyone but Jorgan. The other Staff Member stated that the options I picked during Jorgan's dialogue triggered him into not romancing with me... Well, isn't she right? I didn't even get to flirt with him correctly whatsoever... It seems like I waited and hoped for nothing at the end...
