  1. It was my bad. I'm used used at clicking on the quote button. I'll try to be better oganized in the future.
  2. How? You require a card that has been confirmed in the following accepted countries. Even if your computer believes that you're located in the US you won't be able to sign up. I was really looking forward to this. Why must they always cast away so many countries? It's unfair...
  3. You realise that Amazon doesn't let people use Paypal for Prime, right? They're competitors. I tried searching around and found no solution besides some scammy and risky methods. It only allows me to use a card. There is no reference of a Paypal option anywhere in the website.
  4. How is exactly changing my proxy or IP going to help me at all if the following happens: "Your billing address associated with your credit card must be a verified United Kingdom address to get access to Twitch Prime." I'm starting to believe the people who claimed that this method worked were trolls. :/
  5. Last time I played on my Bounty Hunter Powertech he had a skill with an aoe similar to a Vanguard. He'd use his fists and a metallic backpack to shoot some kind of missiles against the location of aoe. It was one of my favorite skills and quite useful as it saved my character's butt a lot of times. I can't seem to find it anymore. The character is Level 31. Did EAware remove this skill? I've checked the Trainer but there wasn't anything new.
  6. I've finished KOTFE/KOTET on both my female Jedi Consular and Jedi Knight. I'm familiar with their voice-acting work from other projects as well, and I really enjoyed them throughout the game. I've finished most of the Class Stories and I've seen a lot of YouTube videos. I can't help but to feel like some of the voice acting has been declining in quality, and maybe even direction. Consular really started off okay but then improved throughout the game... I was never much of a fan of Athena Karkanis but she really did a good job in KOTFE/KOTET. It just sounds like she was actually having fun recording her lines and she did take her role seriously. When she had to shout or be emotional, she delivered it. Unfortunately the same can't be said about the female Jedi Knight. Kari Wahlgren s a great actress. I've loved her work in Guild Wars and Elder Scrolls Online. She's perfect when the character needs to be calm and quiet, but apparently, she can't sound emotional. During the last confrontation with Valyin on Odessen her line delivery was absolutely awful. It's a very intense moment and she's about to deliver the killing blow and it sounds like she's casually talking in a tea party. She also lacked immensely during some of the speeches and other shouts. I also noticed that Jennifer Hale sounds incredibly off during the new episode? I could barely recognize her, and she's one of my favourite voice actresses out there. The delivery of all Imperial females also has decreased immensely, being the Inquisitor the most noticeable one. I honestly always disliked Nolan North's work in MMOs. His voice becomes so bland, dull, emotionless... and I don't get why. I understand that the male Consular has to sound wise and all of that but he has done such incredible work in singleplayer campaigns such as Uncharted, Assassin's Creed, Deadpool, Borderlands... His voice just mauls my ears as a Consular. I also couldn't stand his work on Guild Wars 2. How come some that this is happening? Have you noticed any declines or improvements?
  7. I don't really see what's wrong with it. I've noticed some flaws and the obvious foreshadowing of Torian/Vette after a replay. My biggest issue with the expansions and some of the new content is the voice actors. Most of them have declined in quality, and I fail to understand why. I only noticed an improvement with the female Jedi Consular. She seems to be the only who one's taking things seriously... and that can actually shout! I always loved my female Jedi Knight but al lof three lines against Valyin were bloody awful.
  8. Valyin and Jack share some points, but not that much. Their characters barely share any sort of similarities. Jack lived a rough life from start. She was brought to a laboratory among other children to be experimented on in order to enhance her biotics. Other children were killed just to make sure she could survive experiments. She eventually escaped and destroyed most of the facility and its employees to live a life of crime, drugs and pleasure. Valyin was born in royalty and had hopes and dreams and a loving mother. She was brought to that asylum in order to be contained. She was far too powerful to let out in the wild with her powers unchecked. I feel bad for both.
  9. I had to fight Vaylin with a mixed gear set of Level 60-65 on a Jedi Shadow... and it took me an hour or so. The game didn't allow me to ready Arcann and he died pretty fast. It was a pain, but I got it eventually. I don't remember what I did exactly, but I hope it'll be easier this time around with my JK.
  10. BioWare can't do whatever they want. They need to be careful to not break lore that would affect future instalments. It's just like what Zenimax Online is going through. They're working on a game that is set 800 years before the originals and had to carefully shape it in order to leave the story and maps coherent.
  11. Oh, I didn't even notice it . There wasn't any interaction or indication. My bad. What even happens to Quinn?
  12. I'm not really familiar with anything happens BEFORE Revan's timeline. But still... isn't the galaxy... like huge? Isn't a big portion of it still unexplored and even unknown to the most? There's a chance that it just slipped unnoticed. After all it's a GALAXY. No way an Empire could rule the entire thing and every single creature. That sounds a bit too over-the-top.
  13. Mass Effect launched in 2007. It was back when BioWare was still somewhat "fresh" and handn't ties to EA. It was heavily inspired by Star Wars and Star Strek. It was thansk to KOTOR's major sucess that Mass Effect became a thing. After the huge sucess of Mass Effect 1 and 2, some of the writiers and other team members swapped to work on SWTOR's development. Ignore everything about Mass Effect: Andromeda though. It was made by a completely unexperienced team.
  14. I said good writing because I enjoyed thoroughly the story instances so far, but I do have to admit that Mass Effect is way better at most categories. Still, I had a lot of fun playing SWTOR. I honestly can't find this kind of storytelling on any other MMOs. I've played Guild Wars 2, TERA, Elder Scrolls Online... and all of their writing was mediocre at best, even with a good cast.
  15. I would honestly rather have ancient deadly machines then another Death Star ripoff xD
  16. The fact that both the Republic and the Empire are willing to stand against the only person who actually saved their butts off the fire over some stupid weapon sounds a little... brash to me. Accina's sudden shift of attitude seemed to be random... and I still don't understand why the Fleet suddenly turned off.
  17. I honestly didn't notice any changes to Lana's voice on the new content. I did notice a change from the whole Revan expansion to KOTFE. She definitely aged. Theron still sounds the same to me. But I did notice some change in the overall voice actors. I'm afraid some of them have been showing some decline in their quality, especially the female actresses from the Empire side. I also noticed that Jennifer Hale(Female Trooper)'s tone changed abruptly. She honestly doesn't sound the same to me anymore. Female Knight's voice actress is one of my favorite, but she honestly stinks when she has to raise her voice.
  18. As far as I'm aware none of them can join you unless you're a Trooper or a Warrior. I finished the episode on my Jedi Shadow and I wasn't given any choice to directly recruit Dorne into my team. She's just there helping with the Republic. Is there any sort of content I've missed? I just discovered this huge "reveal" and then the episode ended. The game didn't tell me anything else to do besides the dailies.
  19. This is not hate-related or anything. It's just something I'm going to point out. Besides the good writing(for me at least; I had a lot of fun with SWTOR so far but Mass Effect 1-3 is far superior though), some of the animations and the Dialogue Wheel there really wasn't anything that would remind me of Mass Effect. That was until I replayed KOTET and then the new episode 'War of Iokath'. Once our main characters find this metallic planet we discover that it was built by a prosperous and progressive ancient race that controlled other galactic civilisations and was eventually wiped out by their own synthetic advanced creations. Said race also left breakthrough technology and relics across known space for other species to find, such as the Eternal Fleet and the GEMINI droids. Now, the Outlander has discovered that one of the main causes for this race's extinction are nearly indestructible and are about to return. I also have to note that the original creators attempted to save themselves and ended up perishing on their own pods. In Mass Effect an ancient and all-mighty race of sentient machines called the Reapers wipe out all organic life every 50,000 years. A powerful and advanced race called the Protheans stood their ground against the machines for centuries and attempted to leave warnings across the galaxy. It was believed at first that many of the found technology remarks were left by the Protheans. There was also a species that created a syntehthic race that eventually turned against their creators. Some of the Protheans tried to save themselves by hibernating on pods, and eventually died in them due to the lack of power within the facility. I mean, it's using the whole concept of Synthetics Versus Organics that Mass Effect used. I can't be the only one who noticed on these similarities. I'm actually curious as to what will happen'. I know it's a bit of stretch, but I couldn't help but to feel some of Mass Effect vibes from these moments. Of course it's not as serious due to its IP.
  20. While playing the new Episode I came across a rather peculiar glitch. It once happened in KOTFE/KOTET but only during the scenes where my character had to use a Walker. Now it's happening in broad daylight. You can see it here: http://i.imgur.com/XZX01Dj.png (Low-res) http://i.imgur.com/SwKLWMx.jpg (Huge-res) https://im3.ezgif.com/tmp/ezgif-3-d33d1d489e.gif (Gif) In Picture 1 you can see my character's current gear. She uses a Destroyer set, which is also the Active Outfit for that character. She also has an extra Outfit that uses her basic Consular gear, the Veteran Force-Lord from the Level 60 Outlander Token. But when she enters a certain cutscenes, the game will ignore both her main gear set and active outfit and only show her basic/extra outfit for some reason. Did this happen' to any of you?
  21. There's a reason to complain when things don't go according to plan, therefore I wish to find an answer since the Customer Support isn't capable of such things. - My Jedi Consular has all of her companions armed; I didn't really go through and changed their armors and weapons. - She is fully geared, all of her items are around Level 65, with a few being Level 68 and 70. I can't really afford the "good stuff" and RNG was never a friend of mine. I only used her to complete KOTFE/KOTET and updated her gear before leaving. - Her skills seem to be fine. So far I only noticed some changes on my Jedi Knight. One of her throwing skills mysteriously vanished from the skill bars, but it was still available by clicking P. - She's the basic DPS Jedi Shadow. I usually only have issues with this character when facing tough bosses like Vaylin. - The main problem is not the big droid, it's the ones it spams constantly during the battle. Theron can't uphold the stress and dies shortly after the big one perishes. The stress also causes me to run out of ideas, and end up dead. Doesn't matter if I use something to heal myself, the healing skill or even try to outrun them, they'll put me down and glitch the quest. In order to get the big droid back on track I have to relog a few times for it to spawn back. The quest specifically tells me to kill it and the purple thing is located right on its location. I'll still keep trying, and if I fail to find a fix, I'll just stop using the character. I can't even bother myself to continue my Trooper after the remake. SWTOR doesn't strike me as it used to, so I'll just put my efforts on my JK from now on until the Subscription is over or something.
  22. I was away from SWTOR a few weeks, perhaps even a month considering just how much time of my Subscription I wasted. I wanted to try out the new story, and my first objective was to defeat that machine right at the start. I did that, and the quest didn't trigger or anything. The quest-log tells me to defeat an enemy that has already been defeated. I can't quit or restart the mission, so I assume that it's broken and there's nothing I can do... again? Is this going to be a common thing? It's been happening way too much for my own taste. It was thanks to a similar glitch that I had to remade my Trooper character... and I'm not going to remake my Consular again... Is also this mission supposed to be so difficult? The regular droids are mauling my character and my companions with just a few hits...
  23. I haven't touched SWTOR in weeks. After seeing some videos and the changes that were applied on the Class Stories I decided to come back, but I couldn't help but to notice that the Dialogue Wheel changed places.. and I find its new spot quite... annoying. I've played many BioWare and Telltale games and I do prefer when the Dialogue choices are located in the middle, right beneath the subtitles. It helps me focus and it's way more appealing. Is there a way to change it back?
