  1. They can simply add another set of objectives (medals \ matches played \ matches won) without changing any other aspects. It would give people more freedom without hindering those who prefer warzones and\or arenas.
  2. What a terrible take from Bryant. There is not a single activity in this game I dislike more than arenas but I don't cry for them to be removed from the season.
  3. I suggested it already: cut last 10 levels of the season, leave basic armor, title and small deco as seasonal reward, make big deco and shiny version of the armor something you earn depending on your performance, like ranked rewards before seasons.

  5. I would be fine with 6.0 returning for 8.0. Tagging and being able to have two classes are the only changes that are worth keeping.
  6. I'm more forgiving when I see incompetence than I am when I see intentional malice. GSF allows to kich someone who doesn't deal damage in some time (which is good but also discourages more strategic play).

So you did the same thing - because the same FOMO is present with those vendor trash items - only without reputation track, conquest points, titles and ability to track the objective easily that come with it. Luckily the reward for 100% the season is very skippable. There is Galactic Season grind, PVP season grind and now you made conquest even more grindy, after awful 7.0 changes that doubled required points. This is probably the worst "update" since 7.0.
  8. Mobs and objectives can just drop reputation trophies instead of currency. I don't know what was the purpose of having currency you could exchange for trophies - probably to cap them - but I don't know to what end if weekly reputation is already capped.

  11. I don't like it. It was some free conquest. And it made tracking the achievement easier.
  12. It's a running theme in the last two seasons. 1. Last seasonal currency was pebbles. 2. Repository of Dark Wisdom was filled with garbage and the game encouraged us to explore. 3. Now seasonal currency is literally vendor trash. I think someone is sending a message and I agree with it - changes introduced in last two seasons are trash.
  13. Every time I think that 7.0 era is possibly not as awful as I thought something like this happens.
  14. Why not both? Personally I only use strongholds for conquest bonus so if they want to give us more strongholds, they should increase the bonus. It would also mitigate 7.0 changes that doubled required points for personal goal.
  15. That's why it's important that people who like and use those companions complain now, otherwise Broadsword will think they made the right choice by removing seasonal companions.

  17. The way I i magine it, you simply destroy the item that gives you the companion and never hear about it again. Or at the end of the quest the companion disappears if you don't recruit him - so, for example, if at the end of season 5 questline they gave you an option to recruit Umbral and if you don't the quest just ends the way it does now without adding anything to the menu.
  18. Make companions optional \ give people the ability to kill or dismiss them forever, everybody will be happy. I want a new one.
  19. It's another example of fixing something that wasn't broken, trying to re-invent the wheel, coming up with a triangle and calling it a better wheel. Same as the interface, same as gearing, same as scaling. Luckily they improved all those things after they got negative reception. Hopefully they'll do the same with GTN.

That's a bit too much even for me It would require including said companion in the future storyline whenever we have a romantic scene with our space waifu or husbando and I'm all for people being able to reject the seasonal companion if they choose to do so without missing out on anything. So romance is in the "nice to have but they better focus on other things" category for me.

I'm trying to discuss with you which is rather difficult because you don't respond with counter-arguments, make statements without explaining and argumenting them (example: you said I don't understand what passive-aggressive is without explaining how I'm wrong) and mock suggestions that should in theory satisfy us both. Disagreeing with you doesn't mean attacking you. But if you wish to continue, please tell me: Why a companion that can be rejected, doesn't appear on the ship, isn't a part of seasonal objectives and doesn't prevent you from completing seasonal questione if rejected wouldn't be acceptable for you.

Mocking me for proposing something that should be beneficial to you without addressing it falls under this category. We're talking about preferences. There is no right and wrong. If you feel attacked let's end it here and wait for the next season to see what will happen.
  24. Saying "I disagree, because..." is not passive-aggressive. Saying: "Well, if you want companions removed from my ship why are there companions on my ship? Huh? They are still there" is and if it was not your intention you worded it poorly.
