  1. Edit: I changed my mind. Friend plays Sorc heals and thus undue the energy increase cost cause I know think it's dumb and it would make them feel better. Anyone who disagree has a pathetically small meme collection.

  2. Go and play NiM OPs or PvP, get your gear, forget about crates. It's that easy and it's the way it used to be. Or maybe it's not that easy and you all want full 248 set in 20 crates...

     

    So which NiM and the new Ops bosses drop Head, Belt, Bracers, MH and OH? Oh and the rest are off final bosses or the new Op rest is trash in MM Ops lol.

  3. Please go back to square one. This is a FAILED system that do nothing to incentivize players but to grind till your eyes bleed. You are creating a system of HAVE and HAVE NOTs. Yes one can fast track if we do OPS. Some could care less for OPS. I know you can take the long route and grind more grind by PvPs and other stuff. The drop rates should be equal whether one does a PvP/OPS or heck yes even a Flashpoint or anything in game. Do not pick favorites among your playerbase and really this system stinks and remain broken!

     

    Fast track is regs lol not even close for BiS. Tell me where I can get Belt, Bracer, MH, OH, Headpiece off of Apex Bosses. And the non Apex bosses are worthless for gear. Oh wait lol.

     

     

    But back on topic. We don't need Priority HMs. We need go back to the simple system if you do NiM you can get BiS. Not HM not gambling boxes not Regs. Put 248 on all NiM bosses and it's fine.

     

    And this discussion is of MM Drops not anything else so please stay on topic. :)

  4. Besides balancing DPS and classes why not grow a spine and really balance this game among Casual, PvP, OPs players in terms of gearing. Ever since the creation of the so called Galactic command gearing grinding really has split this game even further. Everyone wants it easier for their groupies. The vocal majority who have easy access to OPS are ruling this game while the PvPers and casual players are left like the red head stepchild.

     

    Please make the gearing system easier to obtain. I could care less for OPS being a PvPer/casual player and the original system was not great but better than what is being done now. This is an incessant orgy feast of grinding and some more grinding to obtain anything of value. This is a BROKEN system and someone should develop a new workflow to revisit the gearing system. The loudest children get want they want but this system needs more real BALANCING and nobody actually thought of it well.

     

    If Ops players were getting what we want 248 would drop on all NiM bosses like every tier has done for the relevant content instead of trash drops on non final bosses and half the loot table missing from final bosses. It's funny when you can spam faceroll content then spam regs and be BiS. I laugh when I see regstars in BiS. If you do Ops solely as gear BiS is currently unavailable and we will have to wait till January to be able to play the content we want to get gear. Be grateful you can get BiS gear at all as a casual and can get any gear you want via PvP. But believe what you want.

  5. I think carnage target dps should be lower than 10k since its dps has to be on the same level with madness sorcs and +2.5% from range burst like arcenal. So 9,5k would be a good target dps for carnage

     

    It would sit at the same level as IO and Engi at 9.8-10k. Putting it at 9.5 would be below Virulence, Lightning and MM each in 2.5 or 5% less category. Does Madness need a buff to reach their target sure but unbalancing the another spec doesn't do that.

  6. The Devs have stated on multiple occasuons that Carnage is the burst spec while Anni is the sustained and Fury filling the middle ground. Carnage has been overperforming in raids making it the go to spec for pretty much every fight. I can see Carnage being dropped to about 9.8-10k range on the dummy and hopefully a nerf to its ridiculously strong AoE. Most likely Fury will see a buff putting it around 10.1-10.2k on the dummy. This will maybe make Fury an advantageous option on some fights.
  7. Im fine with a all week ops if it is followed by an all week fp, and then followed by a all week wz, all week galactic starfighter and then all week heroics, all week uprisings, all week chapters

     

    I like it Permanent :)

     

    Or just add back all 248 gear pieces to NiM and stop dragging it out lol.

  8. Shield Specialist: One good cheese ability (Instead of relaying on RNGESUS Dank Fuel)

    Pyro: AoE Dmg Reduction and some more defensives

    AP: Forced Swapped DCD and some surviability buffs.

     

    Doubtful as they will probable bring everything else down once utilities are adjusted.

  9. Glad I invested wisely this patch on what lolz alts to gear with hand me downs for funsies and made my Merc a healer and my Sorc a meme DPS for meme runs dodged a bullet with that one. Well for now cause they will adjust Merc healing and Op healing as well (as they should) xd

     

    Personally, I don't really like Sorc healing that much too spammy on one ability for resource gen and stuff and now every third GCD for resource gen lol. Maybe I prefer ramping style cause I play BHs lol.

  10. If one class will have both strong single dps and strong dot dps + good mobility it will be catastrophic. You have no idea what you are writing. At the moment sorcs are bad only when they are being targeted, and good when no one is focusing them, this clearly states that it needs not dos buff but other adjustments (to utilities,rotation, etc).

     

    Lol really you think I have no clue that's cute. Your argument boils down too waaaahhhh they got massive epeen fluffing numbers so Op please nerf in regs where any mouth breather can be good. Targeted lol whew lad that makes no sense in MM Ops and any class pressured does worse in PvP. And by BW methodology Madness does need a buff of about 200-300 DPS Single target. Just buff the damage on Wrath stacks for Lightning Strike and it's fine. Other specs have better Single target and good AoE. But that's irrevant cause it's still fluff. Shouldn't even bother with this Go make another thread and I'll laugh when they Buff their Single target as they should lol. But I'm out have fun complaining about imaginary problems.

  11. The main problem of the DPS sorcs is their defences mate. Nobody of us is whining and relying on dummies. For one I play a DPS sorc as a main character and I can tell you that if you get caught 1 on 1 WITH WHATEVER Class you want,you get destroyed,except if you are 1vs1 with a sorc/sage.

    The big problem of DPS sorc is their survability and defences. Even if they dont touch the damage,the sorc should at least get some defences. What happened now? Static Barrier got nerfed,that nerf applies to every discpline and that was not okay. It didn't absorb so much damage,with a few good hits which it absorbs,afterwards you get pummeled.

    We don't want new merc,we want to enjoy our time on this class as every other class.

     

    You don't balance the game around 1v1. Surivability is mostly fine it's Single target DPS is not.

Nope, i have a clear clue that if this class will have more buff (and bioware doesnt know what means slight buff or big buff since they know only huge buff!) it will become a new destroyer, especially considering that it is a mobile range class which can dps by standing far away and run for its target when needed with force speed. That why it was nerfed in 5.0 (though i agree that nerf was too harsh).

     

    Lol not even close. But keep living in a fantasy if that makes you sleep better at night. Leave the discussion to people who do actual real content. Madness Single Target needs a buff of 300 Single target and it's in line with their Chart. What's next Balance the game around RP lol. Just stop please.

  13. Sorcs were overperforming in both pve and pvp, a nerf was definitely warrented. Though they took it somewhat over the top you're overdramatising a lot, sorcs are still viable healers.

     

    As for calling Operative healer off dps 'reasonable', have you played Operative dps? On light healing phases as Operative I usually let my co healer off dps while I do the healing required, because Operative off dps is trash unless perhaps when you go into 4m range, which is often not worth it

     

    Operative heals Off DPS is surprisingly pretty strong but as you said you have to go in 4m to maximize it otherwhise it's bleh.

  14. As a pvp player iam taking it in pvp perspective, since bioware are not separating pvp and pve we have consequences of class balance for both pve and pvp, and i dont want to see new merc.

     

    You don't balance around fluff in regs though. And Madness Single target is what needs a buff and can be achieved without buffing the DoTs. And if we do take a PvP perspective it's still meh in Ranked. You clearly have zero clue what you are talking about.
