  1. They were probably defeated the same way the Jedi were- they went in using tactics that didn't work, were too prideful to change their ways, and they were eventually whittled down until they were all either dead, or ran away. You have to remember that all this took place over five years while the Outlander was trapped- it's not like they were all killed in the same week. Also from what I recall, there aren't that many in the Dark Council- I doubt there's more than 10, and if they all went into battle... well, they may have been able to take down a bunch of troops on foot before being overwhelmed, but if their ships were attacked by the Eternal Fleet, they probably got blown to smithereens along with their cruisers. It's also possible that some of them were severely injured and left in a state where they simply weren't able to lead anymore. It may also be the case where one or two of them stepped down and retreated to Korriban to salvage what was left of their order, like the Jedi did.
  2. That could work, too. Actually, probably a much better time for introductions to a Mandalorian is after a battle so they're not all focused and they're all up for friendly conversation. And thank you! I'm actually kind of sad right now because I'm not going to have wifi connection the 2nd through the 6th, and now it looks like I won't have it on the 1st either! I'll have to wait a WHOLE WEEK to get Torian back! A WHOLE WEEK! I'll be OLD by the time I get to reunite with him! I could always watch YouTube videos, but it's never the same as actually playing through it...
  3. Yeah, but Wookiepedia, like all online wikis, can be written by anyone and can have faulty information. And since it's a fade-to-black, a person could imagine them sitting down and having a picnic as easily as sleeping together. Personally I felt that it very strongly implied that they spent some "quality time" together, whether with Lana or Theron OR Imp or Pub, and that's what I'm going with.
  4. Bonus points if he picks her up and carries her over his shoulder. Because why not?
  5. I'm also a pre-order Founder, and I occasionally take breaks too. I love SWTOR and I never leave for too long, but sometimes I get a little burned out and I take a few months off. But I always come back to it in the end.
  6. I also do Ignore and Spam. I'm sure I've annoyed quite a few staff people trying to deal with all my tickets.
  7. I don't think there really is a justification. My Jedi Knight might temporarily take the mantle of leader while trying to get back some semblance, but I can't imagine her wanting to stay in command for that long. Her duty and heart lies with her oaths as a Jedi (even though she married Doc), and she'd probably sneak out and go back to wandering the galaxy trying to help the defenseless and train new Jedi. And my Barsen'thor also has no interest in ruling. She'd be happy as an adviser, but she wants to help train new Jedi and facilitate peace amongst other groups. She can't do that in an unbiased capacity as the Immortal Empress. Plus, she's not immortal, so that title doesn't really work for her.
  8. This thread made me almost cough up my tea. Thanks for the laugh. Personally I think all my toons would take one look at the paperword, and then go 'Hell no!' before getting the hell out of Dodge.
  9. Actually it was more like 5-6 years as each class chapter takes 1 year, and then the Dread Masters, Makeb, and SoR all take up a different year after that. Personally I never went through the Dread Masters and have taken to skipping Makeb because Makeb, so I headcanon it taking 4.
  10. There's going to be a Season 2, but after that, who knows? I'm personally inclined to believe it'll last at least 3 seasons, but I could be wrong about that. And honestly if they can keep the story fresh and interesting, I'd be fine with it going on for several years. I love a good story.
  11. Since both companions can be summoned back via the terminal, I believe it would be safe to say that they are indeed both returning. As far as Jaesa goes, if you don't like her you don't have to romance her. And if you have, you'll be able to end it with her since we've had the option to end all the relationships we've had so far.
  12. Personally I have the reunion going like this: Andronikus has gone back to being one of the most fearsome pirates known, but he preys exclusively on Zakuul ships and his crew consists of all kinds of people with one thing in common- they all hate Zakuul. His ship has never been successfully chased until one day he takes his ship through an asteroid belt (sound familiar to you SIs?) and it did not go as well as it had last time. The ship gets stalled and the Outlander goes there in the hopes of convincing him to join them. As soon as the SI steps on deck, Andronikus is suspicious that it's some sort of trick, and he deliberately sets her up in a trap so he can catch her. Then when he finally sees that it's really her, he grabs the SI, carries her to his room, passes Lana saying that they'll join up and ignores everything else she says, and then spends the next several hours catching up with his wifey. Of course, I know it's not going to actually go this way because I'm never right about this sort of thing, but it's still fun to think about.
  13. See, THIS I'm okay with. When players do it because it does actually make sense for their characters to take that kind of action, I'm fine with it. I hate the idea of Aric dying period because I think he's great, but, like you said, our characters don't know Aric. If your character is a hardas*, then sure, killing him sounds like it would be a good idea. It's the people who kill them because it's fun to kill them that I have issues with. And no, I still don't accept the excuses of those who romanced Aric or Kaliyo and then killed them. That's still messed up all sorts of ways to me.
  14. I think it's a fun idea, but I think after our Mando husband realizes we're actually alive, he'll have much more pressing matters at hand than introducing you to his old friend. If he does introduce you to Corridan, his friend will probably say something in Mandalorian to Torian that'll make him blush. Actually, now if they don't have that I'll be disappointed.
  15. I really wish I could 'like' this comment.
  16. Same here. I love all the original male romances as well, but Theron is my favorite KOTFE romance. I saved my Consular for him.
  17. Especially since it's been pretty much established that the Outlander is supposed to take over the Eternal Empire, regardless of whether the Outlander actually has any interest in doing so. I'm so eager to see what happens in the next season; I can't help but think that Valkorian only wants you on the throne so that something else can happen as a result, like a catalyst, not because he actually wants you to stay there for any significant length of time.
  18. I doubt Akaavi will make an appearance. She may be mentioned, but she won't show up. They would have announced her if she was going to be there. And if she DID show up, her fans would probably be unhappy about it since she wouldn't be a "featured" character, like Torian/Aric/Kaliyo was.
  19. Well, Andronikus is a pirate, so maybe you'll get your wish.
  20. There is definitely going to be a Season 2, they've said as much. Who knows if they'll do a Season 3, although I personally am inclined to believe that they will. But even if they are going to do a Season 3, who knows when they'll bring back what characters. They could bring Jaesa back in the first chapter for all we know. It's kind of pointless to speculate on it since we don't even know how this season will end or the next one will shape up. All I know is, I'm expecting that all the companions will return by the end of next season or some people will be very, very unhappy, especially those waiting for their LI's.
  21. I tried to go through this quest using the advice given in this thread, and I managed to complete it on my SW, so thank you for that! But now that I've actually gone through the whole thing, I'm not even going to bother with this quest except with my Smuggler. I like Bowdaar, but not that much. XD
  22. I thought that his "goodbye" was the foreshadowing to the Consular's disappearance and supposed death before KOTFE starts, like all the other classes have. At some point during the five year absence he probably gave up hope and came to terms with the death, much like Aric did with the femTrooper.
  23. I think you can romance him even if you don't become a Mandalorian, although refusing to do so disappoints him greatly. As a side note, when you discuss kids with Torian- if you say you don't want your kids to grow up Mandelorian (or have kids at all) you get a really big approval loss from him.
  24. While I disapprove of killing companions left and right simply for fun, I can tell you that you can only kill one of the two- you can kill Aric OR Kaliyo, but not both. Your best bet would be to set things up so that you can kill the one you least like. Send the one you want to keep into the mission in Chapter 12 as your main group, then at the end of the chapter, tell the character you want to kill to stay put. That person will disobey and go anyway, and then at the end of Chapter 13, you can kill that person for insubordination and disobeying you.
