  1. For some reason, I am unable to use the galaxy map to travel to Mek-Sha from my strongholds. It thinks that I am already stationed on Mek-Sha regardless of which planet I was on before traveling to my stronghold. When using the exit stronghold button it will correctly recognize which planet I am on. Also, going back planetside will allow me to use the galaxy map to travel to the asteroid. This is something odd about strongholds. So far I have observed the bug while in my Nar Shaddaa and Coruscant strongholds. I haven't tried it from any of my other strongholds.
  2. I made a suggestion like this years ago and I still like the idea. I'm all for it. However, I wouldn't want more companions to come out of it. I prefer companions to have more story and adding minor companions would be less satisfying if they didn't have their own stories. Given the seeming shortage of people to devote to working on SWTOR, I would think that more companions would create more writing work that wouldn't see much progress.
  3. Alderaan had some nice vineyards which would make good decos.
  4. I also support this but I think the Chiss don't like visitors so we are more likely to get Makeb.
  5. Hopefully, the disconnects will smooth out in the coming days. I was wondering if I was the only one getting kicked after a while.
  6. A makeb Villa would be awesome but only if it is small enough to have good hook coverage for both inside and the outdoors. In particular, it would need good floor hook coverage.
  7. Can we complete the sets for the planetary display decorations and tree plot/potted ecosystem decorations? The planetary display decorations come from alliance crates and they are just holo projectors that display planets. However, I would like it if we could eventually have one for each planet that players can visit in the game, even places like Darvannis and Nathema. I would also like some new environmental decos. I believe the Yavin Tree Plot, the Potted Plant: Zakuul Swamp Ecosystem, and some Onderonian planters are the only planetary plant arrangements that we have so far but I would appreciate it if we had more. For example, it would be nice to have Alderaan, Voss, and Belsavis tree plot decorations. Just to clarify, in this case, I am not just asking for decorations of individual plants, though I won't turn them down. I'm asking for a kind of arrangement decoration that gives you a cross-section of the plants and flowers found on the planet.
  8. The decorations that drop from the Skytrooper Praetorian on the Skytrooper production facility level of Star Fortresses still have the bug that makes them inconsistently bound. Some are bound to legacy, and some bind on pickup but display a timer until the are supposedly bound. These are the only decorations in the whole flashpoint that are bound so I believe that the binding is a bug in and of itself.
  9. Out of everything mentioned, this is the part I am most excited about. However, I had some requests I'd like to leave. Please... Let the rewards include a lot of stronghold decoa. Let those decos be unbound. Free the event decos! Include various tables with food and drink, kitchen decorations, restaurant decorations, and full arrangements that fit on large floor hooks.
  10. Woohoo! The steam announcement is good but the event and story announcements are better. As someone who likes being in game but is not crazy about combat, the minigames sound nice. I hope it comes with lots of cool decos. I also hope it comes with unbound event items or at the very least an exchange to allow you to exchange unused event items for event currency that lets you buy what you actually want. I can't wait to see the world refreshes too while we are at it. Just wait until Alderaan and Nar Shaddaa are redone. Although it wasn't mentioned in this live stream, I hope there are also plans to add new rewards to the life day event. I in particular I mean things you can get from playing not just new CM items.
  11. Huh, so that person that found the steam files was right? Interesting. New players would be great.
  12. There are a lot of cartel pack decorations that haven't made it to the CM due to a technical constraint if I recall. Not all decorations were made in such a way that they could be easily added to the CM. So, hopefully, these items can get bumped up on the priority list for making them available on the CM.
  13. I would appreciate it if I could buy the Copero decorations from the Spoils of War Pack directly. Copero has a lot of nice decorations that would go well with other packs like the spa decorations. Also, I would appreciate it if more decorations were created from the assets in the resort area of the Traitor Among the Chiss flashpoint. Many of the stalls would make great arrangements, the big restaurant kitchen with cooking food from that area near the beginning of the flashpoint would be nice, various plants, the blue umbrellas, and tables and shelves with knickknacks would be great.
  14. Given how much of a difference they make in how fun the event is, I trust they will be fixed in time for the patch on the 28th. However, I hope the devs have a plan to help minimize the impact of long lines to use the machine. Some people have built up a lot of coins already.
  15. I've noticed that several suggestions I've made have appeared in game and I appreciate it. For example, letting Casino tokens drop from mobs, the fact that it was emperor tokens was a nice touch. I also appreciate the bug fixes that have been able to go out so far. I no longer have to resummon my comp on each level of a star fortress! While there's admittedly a lot still needing to be addressed, I finally feel like SWTOR is turning back into the game I used to love. Without expecting to, I just found myself actually playing the game again. Hopefully, I will be able to hang around long enough to see server populations grow. Thanks
  16. Opening Statements I like where the new dailies are going and it's good to see thee event updated. However, before I comment more on the missions, I'd just like to mention that the real drag for me is not the lack of missions but how boring the slots themselves are. Perhaps making the animation on the machine easier to see and show more spin states might help with increasing engagement. Also, more varied rewards would be nice. It drives me nuts to spend ten minutes just trying to get something useful when it feels like the machine is just spitting the same chip back at me. If it wasn't for the rewards *cough* decos *cough* I wouldn't do this event because it feels like a chore to get the necessary currency for rewards. Here's some thoughts I had about the event last year: https://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=966366 https://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=965489 https://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=925421 About the Missions Having more repeatable jobs is nice even if it feel off for alliance commanders that normally take the high road. Boss Said Knock You Out - Not sure which customers I'm supposed to be targeting. Am I missing an indicator? Data Driven Services - Seems random rather than being a puzzle. It would be more fun for me if it felt like there were clues to pick up on. I think that using the same tactic on the same type of customer didn't give the same results in each case. Maybe I missed an indicator again. Counterfeit Coins – This felt a little bit more like a chore. I think I would have liked it better if there had been more story behind it than “go crack their heads for me.” However, counterfeit coins missions completed without counting towards Dubious Odds so I had no way to obtain the latter rewards/buffs. Dubious Odds - 10 chips seems like a low reward, especially given that the sum total of the chips from the daily might not even be enough to get you one certificate. MekSha Missions - Including a casino on Mek Sha was pretty cool. However, it seems odd that there would be Soovada celebrations going on in Hutt Breaker’s territory. But, I see a story opportunity here. It could be that Hutt Breaker has her own rival celebrations to try to steal the shine and money from the Hutt’s Soovada displays of wealth. It could lead to interesting story missions in the future. Suggestion: There’s not enough time to implement it this year, but it would be nice if we had missions like Chapter 6 in KOTET where you are trying to use clickables to solve puzzles and advance a story. It would be even better if there were a few variations so that it felt a little different each time, kinda like running a star fortress does. Maybe we could be thwarting a rival Hutt hostile takeover or finding Soovada themed goodies for the festivities. Other Thoughts I like the new statues and NPCs in the casino. CL-4W! I want a claw machine gonk droid pet. Hopefully, one that makes sounds like you've won a prize. I miss being able to use extra chips across characters. Now that it is a currency, it is bound to only one character. However, since chips are currency instead of items, it would be nice to see them drop as rewards from mobs or missions more. Alternatively, it would be nice if you could buy or otherwise obtain an item that would let you reduce your credit drops and rewards from other gameplay in exchange for chips. Since the slots are a credit sink anyway, using chips in place of credits seems like a good way to keep credit generation down. Another future idea, Pazaak please. It would be nice to have other games. The slots just aren’t that fun… really.
  17. I just noticed that placing a large light, such as the basic ceiling light (yellow) on the large ceiling hooks in the main hall of the main building (the stained glass room) means that the light is stuck there. There's no way to remove it without removing all of the decoration for the room since the hook is concealed under the decoration. That could cause some problems for people that go all out for decorating. Also, it seems that there is a range on interactive lights such as the Dynamic Underworld Ceiling light. Once I put it up there, I am not able to turn it on and off because I am out of range. If there are no plans to make sure that players are always able to stand in range for decoration interaction, then it would be nice to get rid of the range limitations. As an afterthought, the pillars and the pedestals in the stained glass room should have hooks as well. The pedestals look like the already existing Senate Podium (Crystal), Senate Podium (Lamp), and Temple Clock decorations.
  18. Thank you much. If I have time I'll go back and look at that.
  19. While I feel we need a lot more Alderaanian decorations, I'm liking what the Tatooine Arena decos are hinting at. While I'm not a PvPer, I'm sure there will be some decos aimed at that playstyle that will still be useful to my favorite playstyles. Also, they just look cool.
  20. I love <3: the first waterfall and the sound effects. I would buy the stronghold just for that spot. the sky. The clouds are so fluffy. :3 the Killik hive. It's so pretty but we don't have killik personnel. the fish in the water. But, now we need a fishing emote. the stain glass window. the rooms, especially the low lighting. We need more colored lights for setting the mood. the views of outside in the rooms with a view. the throne room. But, the throne platform needs 2 more medium floor hooks. the mountain retreat. However, there is a bug in the doors between the northern and western lodgings. They are impassable I'm ambivalent but...: the climbable areas in the mountains are nice for people that like climbing. I don't love: how sparse hooks are in some of the outdoor spaces. But, I will concede somewhat on the basis of performance. However, it would be nice if the places with almost no hook at least had a small hook or two for placing hiding enemy agents or other personnel. how sparse rug hooks are in hallways. Most rugs aren't that large, so I would like it better if there were more rug hooks in the halls.
  21. I've wanted Halidrell Setsyn's hair for a while. She is a slaver who works for Darth Baras and is encountered through the sith warrior storyline. I'd love to see a version with the bun and without it. I also think the bun version should keep Halidrell's hair ornament.
  22. Yeah, I noticed this in the coruscant stronghold as well. It's distractingly loud. It definitely wasn't always this loud.
  23. Well, I'm happy to spread a little bit of positivity around. I figure the dev team deserves to know when they have done good as much as when they have done not so good. I actually enjoyed myself and that hasn't been the case for a long time. Sounds like a good reason for praise and a win all around. However, part of why I wanted to point out that I enjoyed the expansion is because I hope that this is the start of a trend. It would be awesome of the powers that be kept whatever decisions, policies, etc that let this expansion be the way it is stay in place for future content. It felt like the team rediscovered the balance of elements that made SWTOR work before. Also, I hope that other people who were waiting in the wings, like I was, for a sign that things were getting better see this and decide to give the game another chance. For many people, wandering off or drifting away from the game was bittersweet. We didn't want to stop loving the game, it just happened. Now, there is a little ray of hope. Maybe, just maybe, people will come back and it will be close to how it was before. If more people came back or more people gave the game a try and hung around, I would have even more fun in game. As a side note, I would also like to point out that I would have a lot more fun if decos dropped in gameplay more often. *nudge nudge* Overall, I see hope. There is hope that I will get to enjoy my favorite aspects of the game again. <3 Historically, my favorite aspects of the game have been: The story RPing Decorating my stronghold Putting together outfits Playing the GTN to accommodate the other activities above Running around in game analyzing the game art and looking for assets that would make awesome decos
