  1. Are there plans to improve armor customization (the ability to turn any item into a customizable one for example), and if so, when can we expect them?
  2. I really wonder why they put that decision in there, those 3 were the least important of all the ambassadors, so my decision was pretty random.
  3. Well the gameplay is different. The Sage version is more about Telekinetic Throw, the Shadow version uses Double Strike, Project and Mind Crush. But perhaps more importantly, it's possible to use that spec with Combat Technique, which would make you quite a bit more resilient, plus you still get the survival cooldowns of the Shadow even if you don't do that. Also i'm not sure how well it'd work but it'd be possible to be mostly balance with Particle Acceleration.
  4. Remove the shoulderpads and the hat, make it a non-retina burning white, and you have something decent. I quite like the one with an intrincate pattern in the back (also helps that it's brown), but the shoulderpads and the hat... damn.
  5. Sort by price should be price per unit, not total, so we're not encouraged to post stackable items 1 by 1. It should also be possible for us to allow partial sales of stackable items. Separate custom items from blues. I also agree with anybody who has asked to search by slot for armors.
  6. I just got past 9k affect with Tharan, and i'll say that those (mainly females, as being male i didn't have him hitting on me) who dislike him might have a better opinion of him after that dialogue (though of course i'm not sure if there's a difference for females).
  7. Except relics, apparently finding a neutral relic is some kind of epic quest (until you get to end game epics). Playing without a relic is pretty gimped... perhaps they should consider changing the requirements to something like the lightsaber crystals except for the ones from the light/dark vendors.
  8. Well, there's random epics from the crates you can buy from space badges, plus good money for the time it takes. I do agree having a number of missions you can count in one hand (with slightly different enemy placement sometimes, sometimes not even that) is quite sad though, and i would like to see movement fully controlled by the movement keys (by the way, it'd be nice if the strafe keys worked as i unbound the turning keys to more useful stuff) and the mouse only used for aiming, plus more ship customization. Give us weapon choices, like different kinds of missiles (the easiest would be slight modifications of the current ones, one which deals double damage, another with a bigger magazine, another which reloads faster) instead of just giving us more and more ammunition until conserving them becomes a non-issue (which i believe shouldn't be the case). Similarly we could have different torpedos, say a MIRV version with less ammo and a shorter aim time but requires you to aim at each target, or something that just fires a cluster of missiles at everything on screen. Even blasters could have more options, like doing less damage but working against shields. Or just go all the way, give us several weapon/misc slots and let us gear up however we want. Similarly it'd be nice if we had more choices elsewhere, like lower armor with some self repair abilities, smaller shields but with shield regeneration bonuses and so on.
  9. I do not mean the shielding technique. Later in the story you heal people from physical injuries. Pretty normal for a Sage, but odd for a Shadow.
  10. The problem is that we get automatic crits from the proc, and then we should get +50% damage with Force Potency. Currently we do not get that +50% damage but it spends a charge of Force Potency anyway.
  11. If the Sorc is OP, so should the Sage. Same thing, different vfx. If you want custom gear go Cybertech, they make armorings and mods. Artifice gets enhancements and lightsaber hilts, but you'll fill more slots with Cybertech. Besides, Cybertech pairs with Slicing and Scavenging which seem to have way more nodes out there (quite a few droids can be scavenged when killed), plus Slicing is quite profitable. Also you get grenades.
  12. I'm sorry, but you say liking it doesn't cut it, yet your argument is that you don't like it. You can argue about "elegance" or "power" all you want, it's still purely subjective. Besides, if you want to show mastery of the force, why aren't we just one shotting everything by crushing brains/batteries? And don't forget, Project is the one used by Shadows mostly, and they're not the masters of the force here. The Sage even has a whole tree dedicated to not using Project, though you still have to "suffer" Telekinetic Throw. Balance does buff and use it though, but you have a choice there.
  13. I think the main problem is having to track master after master to give them your shielding (which supposedly weakens you but not really). It gets repetitive. Oh and getting our romances last, so they end up very rushed, and one of them is a padawan, which seems even worse. Should've added her to the team before Balmorra and done more with her training, maybe up to her becoming a knight. Making a holocron, messing with ancient force artifacts and diplomacy are all fine.
  14. There's already a NPC only skill called Project Storm (from memory, the jedi master in Alderaan uses it against you in the class story) which is pretty much this, perhaps with less arm movements. I'd like that instead of pebblestorm, and it's already implemented (and it can also fit the ticks of throw better).
  15. I think they dropped the ball on the Consular too. For starters the fact that the missions are fitting for the Sage, but not the Shadow (how do i keep healing people?), which is pretty odd as a Consular class anyway. Then our first companion is a... trandoshan who hates it when you're merciful. Great, -1 all day long (and don't think dark siders have it better, you can't be cruel either, so whatever you are he's not gonna like you much). There's also the fact that our romances are the last two to join us and that we're made Master before having a padawan. Now for the story itself, Tython was okay, we find out a pilgrim was being corrupted by a holocron and save/kill him. Then our master (who hasn't really done much yet) suddenly falls ill, stopping all interaction. This would be okay if it wasn't for the fact that besides one single mission some 20 levels later she doesn't ever get involved with us in any way again. Way to make us connect. Then we have 4 or 5 planets of find master, beat master, shield master. Way too many. After that we get to fight the Sith lord, that part was fine, i just think we could've skipped a few masters, they just felt like filler. After that the Rift Alliance comes, which is fitting, but by now the Jedi Knights are trying to redeem the Emperor (which has to be the most stupid plan ever), so it feels a tad meh. I'm still running errands on Voss, so can't comment any further.
  16. You already have a Sorcerer, the Sage is exactly the same unless you want to go healer with one and DPS with the other or something. I'd go Shadow.
  17. Listen to PinnyFox, Shadow Strike is not to be spammed. You should only use it when you get the right proc or when trying to burst down something. Also remember your stuns and Force Lift, removing an elite from a group while you kill the weaker enemies can work really well. Also remember that while you might lose the benefits of a few talents, switching to Combat Technique and having Tharan heal you can work quite well regardless of your spec. And as said, keep your companion's gear up to date.
  18. Even if it is a tooltip issue, shouldn't Project then not consume a charge of Force Potency? Though to be honest i think this problem is getting blown out of proportion, one ability getting 50% more damage every 1:30 shouldn't be gamebreaking. The only big problem i see with it is with an 11/30/0 build, trying to get maximum burst, but i don't think it's worth it compared to 2/31/8 or 0/31/10.
  19. You can get laid with Tharan i hear, but not romance him because of Holiday. The "real" romance for female consulars is Iresso, who you get a whole planet before Nadia. I said it in another thread already, but it would've been pretty easy to get Nadia before Balmorra, Iresso would be harder.
  20. The Sith version of Force Stun has lightning effects, it's probably that, not Shock.
  21. Frankly i think giving your romance the last is pretty silly. They could've easily made it so she joins you right as the Rift Alliance chain begins, they would've just needed her to use some force stuff on that Sith, and her father to ask you to teach her (and she could start with an electrostaff). Then after Belsavis the council could formally make her your padawan, and you could get a first quest to teach her to make a lightsaber (hell, why not bring her to the forge?), or give her one until she makes her own since you're going in dangerous missions.
  22. I like Project, but i think the delay should go to keep it consistent with the Sith version. I don't like Telekinetic Throw, the pebblestorm looks underwhelming. I think i'd go with Project tossing a smaller projectile instantly (to the face if you like, hence the stun) and Telekinetic Throw being the Project Storm some NPCs use. If interrupted have any levitated objects fall down. Also it'd be nice if they were more aware of their environment, but i can live with them as is (though having Acheology as a profession and seemingly tossing archaeological objects at people always seemed quite odd...). Force Quake also seems underwhelming to me compared to the Sith version, perhaps a whirlwind of appropriate objects would be a better option, or underground explosions tossing stuff all around them.
  23. I'm 50 and still wearing the Balmorra Social Vendor pants. They're pretty ugly, but the alternatives are the ultrawhite muse pants with a stained crotch (what's up with that?), some black pants with a weird orangy brown thing on top, and other social pants that look even worse. I'd really like that rectified. As said, allowing us to alter our appearance more at will would be great, customizable gear is a good step towards that, but maybe a system where any item can be turned into a customizable one would be better (something for crafters to do?). And while we're talking looks, what's up with the shoulderpad obsession? Especially the level 50 epic robes (Rakata and such). They'd look great without them, but with them they look ridiculous. Lower level ones aren't as bad, but i'm still not a fan of shoulderpads overall. If they need ideas for epic consular robes they should check Atris and the Jedi Archives woman in EP2, those robes look great without having a thousand silly attachments.
  24. As an Artificer Jedi Shadow i have to second this. Taking a crew skill then having to rely on random drops or the market for things it can make is quite silly.
