  1. This isn't darkfall, where the GM's and devs also run the company
  2. Raiding in general is super easy, unless you're herding a bunch of cats around trying to get them to follow simple instructions.
  3. Actually, it came out about a week before that.
  4. It's the starwars label, popular IP's attract bads like **** attracts flys.
  5. I'll afk if I get a team full of derps in huttball that do nothing but fight in the center all game instead of following the ball, and the sad part is sometimes doing that I get more rewards then I do for winning quick matches by a landslide.
  6. Give this man a medal, people who don't like the leveling speed can slow themselves the **** down, leave everyone else alone.
  7. just an fyi, rift isn't dead incase you hadn't noticed, but it's pvp gear system is certainly retarded. Also, you ever stop to think the problems your having with the game are because of you and not the game ? If so many other people can pvp fine but you seem to be unable to, that leads us to the fact that you're just bad and came here to QQ.
  8. How about you don't pvp if you don't like it ? Why do you care so much about how people choose to level up.
  9. well once it gets opened the box no longer exists, so that wouldn't be an issue.
  10. The real question is, is it so hard not to post false negatives about something that has nothing but a positive impact on overall gameplay.
  11. It's not hand holding, it's just a simple feature that's become commonplace in most games and should be standard in all that hold multiple forms of currency.
  12. Or they could just flag the randomly generated items that come out of the mystery box not as commendation items (since it's supposed to be random items, and not stuff you normally buy with comms). Trading commendations would be nice to have as well, but the "mystery box" isn't really a valid argument when it doesn't apply to the problem.
  13. The title sums it up, but basically all of the commendation vendors need to refund (at least for a limited time say maybe an hour long window?) an equal number of the same commendations an item was bought with if sold back to the vendor.
  14. the sniper is by far the highest damage ranged dps atm, that's what it brings.
  15. Or, or, bioware could you know not be completely idiotic in how they handled the first 3 days so far (hell even the first 2) and they would of had everyone in by now. The problem lies in them being unwilling to change their horribly laid plans, when they realized they could do so without causing problems. Also another problem is that they decided it was a "smart idea" to not bring up all the servers at once, when they knew exactly how many they would need at a minimum with an even population distribution. Also bioware seems to think that they can legitimately keep up the "get up to 5 days of early game access" sign as a part of their sales pitch for people ordering as late as today, when the reality of it is those people have zero chance of actually getting anything close to 5 days. Poor business management and decision making processes led to this, now the consumers have to pay for what should of been a routine procedural game launch.
  16. Then I can't rightly believe you aren't just flat out lying, either that or you didn't pay attention to the maintenance times for most of the games you played since they're generally during off hours.
  17. Blame bioware for not opening up all their servers at once, and allowing all their players at once, so the populations would of had a better chance of evenly distributing themselves. Unfortunately now everyone wants to try and get to the "hot spot" as it were and the "staggered" release gets to backfire on itself, oh the sweet irony.
  18. arrow! for shame! it's a BLASTER to the knee jebus... But I digress, the soapbox thing is honestly a waste of time on any kind of internet forum related to a computer game of any type, because the people who matter won't care, and all it does is waste time you could of spent taking a nap.
  19. Actually it isn't misleading so much as it's a direct lie by the company when they still have it posted on the website, since they knew then (and now) that the people coming in on the tail end wouldn't have a shot at getting 5 days because they were unwilling to deviate from their "plan" to fit everyone in on schedule. "UP TO 5 days" implys the potentiality of actually getting those 5 days, so in this case bioware /EA is just continuing to directly lie to any new preorders.
  20. Oh no it's definitely been a pretty awfully executed launch phase, don't know if id go so far as to call it a train wreck but the developers persistence to follow through with their horribly laid plans because even though they could of doubled the number of people let in on the 13th EASILY and worked out the extra servers and had them up yesterday, they thought "oh no, lets stick to the plan, as terrible as it is we gotta stick to our guns, because you know adapting to the situation at hand is always a horrible idea". And the only self entitled complainer I see around here is you and the other fanboys feebly trying to rush to biowares aid as if they needed your reassurance.
  21. If you and everyone else hanging on this delusional idea that somehow "early access" isn't the games actual "launch" actually believe what you keep saying you need to have your heads checked.
  22. Well it's not just that, it's that open world pvp in this game is a joke, so having one sides faction skewed doesn't matter. The main problem for the empire side I'm sure we'll be seeing on alot of servers is longer que times for warfronts however with the ratio being way off, with almost instant ques for republic.
