  1. Leave rewards alone, but change the gear drops. A level 15 will find level 15 gear when killing level 80 enemies. A level 80 will find level 80 gear when killing level 15 enemies... Level 15 gear is now unique and rare, and costs millions to buy off the GTN... Let level 80s find that unique level 15 gear to crash the economy market there.
  2. Due to the gear drop system, there are armors that you will never see again when Systech or w/e it's called starts dropping. They should just add a vendor that sells these on each planet. 200,000 credits a piece. Bind-on-pickup.
  3. Yes summer 2022 is when It last worked. I used this trick a lot on new toons. Around October 2022 it was patched.
  4. Do you know what these are? SD-0 and The First are bosses on the capital planets. You can start them at level 10 or so. Whenever you reach DK or Coruscant. If you're doing Seasons, yes, everyone can do SD-0 and The First. Not a single person is stuck on Tython or Korriban trying to complete seasons.
  5. I never left. Been here since the release of ROTHC, and have been a subscriber almost entirely since. I pause playing a few months out of the year now and then to play other games. I think it just depends on what kind of games you prefer and what you think of Star Wars. I've been a major Star Wars buff since I was introduced to it in the 90s. I think about Star Wars every day, and multiple times throughout the day. SWTOR is the best Star Wars game ever made, because it's pretty much open world, and never ending. It also have more content than I have time for. Other Star Wars games like Battlefront are pointless, and some like Jedi Knight series, and Jedi Fallen Order are too linear. When Bioware made level sync, that's probably what killed the game. Gone was the fun of getting OP, and then going back to low level planets and 1 shotting trash, or training to solo a WB. I remember how useless I felt when the low level content became challenging. Now there was no longer any progression. Dromund Kass seemed as hard as the level 60 content. I think KOTFE/ET may have killed the game more because it messed up the storyline and our companions. Ziost (Ending to SOR) was probably the last good content we've got for a long period of time. And now Bioware continues to ruin this game by messing up the gearing system, and removing mechanics, and messing up class progression. Some skills don't unlock until level 70+, while the final level use to be level 50. Fix this. Let people max their skill trees before level 80. Do I even need to mention how Bioware is completely clueless on how to solve inflation? You know, inflation is inevitable anyways. You have to adjust to it. A gallon of milk today cost me $3. 4 years ago it would have cost me $2. 50 years ago it was probably $0.50.
  6. 100%. What you can't pay your office janitor a couple bucks to read some lines for you? Heck, why can't the devs record some lines? Also, the KOTOR style dialogues are really annoying and flat out lazy.
  7. They patched this a long time ago. With 7.1 I believe.
  8. Sell us LS/DS tokens. 100,000,000 per token. Sell us Galactic seasons tokens. 100,000,000 per token. Sell us legacy birthright kits. 1,000,000 per kit. Sell us reputation medals. 1,000,000 each. Sell us R4 tokens. 50,000,000 each. Sell us tech frags. 10,000,000 per 100x. Sell us FP-1s, OP-1s, Daily Resource Matrix, conquest commendations etc. Sell us heroic auto-completions. 10,000,000 per quests. Sell us conquest points. 100,000,000 for 100,000 Conquest points. Sell us augments 500,000,000 each. Sell us CQP boosts. 25% more CQPs for 3 hours. Etc. There an infinite number of credit sinks you can add without raising repair costs, repair frequency, and travel costs.
  9. The mail from bioware never expires. Simple solution. Don't take out the mail. Leave it there. Also irrelevant for troopers. There's no mailbox in the walker. Again, irrelevant. We're talking about collections. No one cares about the trash armor you pick up, especially not for the first cutscene in the walker.
  10. I don't think you know what you're saying. But thank you for trying.
  11. Dyes can only be used once before they are gone forever. Why don't you just add a dye vendor the the fleet and sell dyes for 100,000,000 credits a piece? Would you rather a player on the fleet sell black/black dye for 2,000,000,000 (2b), or have an NPC sell it for 200,000,000 (200m)?
  12. 100% this. Bioware, listen to me for 3 words "Supply and Demand". Those with credits control the economy, and these people can afford to pay the pathetic 5000 credits for quick travel if they ever decide to leave the fleet. But also, maybe you don't understand business. Businesses always pass their expenses on the customers. Raise the taxes by 5%? Sellers will raise their prices by 5%. Lower taxes by 5%? Players lower their prices by 5%. YOU 👏 NEED 👏 TO 👏 ADD 👏 CREDIT 👏 SINKS!!!! Not taxes, not fees....... CREDIT SINKS!!!!
  13. This is a terrible idea. People will hide their credits off shore to avoid these ridiculous communism taxes
  14. Jackie deleted my OG post, so here is a draft missing a ton of other info I am too lazy to rewrite. I annoyingly downloaded PTS and played it, so here feedback on how terrible of changes these are. Quick Travel now has a credit cost associated, with a minimum cost of 100 credits and a maximum cost of 5000. The cost to travel is dependent on the distance traveled. This is uncalled for and not cool. This is absolutely infuriating. Priority Transport Terminal now costs the original planet travel costs to transfer between daily areas. No idea what this means, but who cares. Doesn't affect me or the economy. Travel to Strongholds now costs the original planet travel costs to transfer between planets. Pathetic. We already pay hundreds of millions to make our strongholds, it should not cost anything to go there. Repair cost formulas have been adjusted across the entirety of the game so that repair costs increase in relation to item level. Why? The repair costs are outrageously too high as is. Durability of equipment should now be lost at a LOWER rate on death, but a slightly HIGHER rate in normal gameplay. How pathetic. WHY? The repair cost are outrageous enough as is, and I don't even die that much. Now I will still not die as much and my armor will break more. Feedback questions! Adjustments to repairing: Do you find yourself having to repair more or less often? - More often. You said it yourself "slightly HIGHER rate in normal gameplay." . Therefore, I am having to repair my armor slighty more often. When you repair, does the cost increase seem significant or fair? The repair costs are outrageous, in fact, even in the normal game, the repair costs are outrageous. I've test on PTS and normal gameplay and the repair cost are now freaking insanely more expensive. WHY!!!! This is unfair. Adjustments to travel: Do the Quick Travel costs seem fair? Do you think this will affect your usage of Quick Travel? Absolutely unfair. Quick travel should not cost money. Why the heck is there even a cool down on it? We paid credits to remove that CD. If QT is going to cost money, then it should not have a cool down, and I deserve to be refunded. Are there travel costs that you currently find to be too little or too much? Absolutely too much. It Freaking cost 2000 credits to quick travel to the sith sanctum on Dromund Kaas, that is absolutely pathetic, and I can't imagine how detrimental that is for new players. Are there methods of travel that have no cost that you would expect to have a cost? No. Stop making travel cost money. That's not how you fix inflation. In the words of Darth Baras - "A blind, deaf, comatose, lobotomy patient could feel my anger."
  15. I've seen people say this a lot in this thread and the PTS thread. It's just completely unnecessary. You can open your collections and add that armor to your gear slots for 0 credits. All the empty shells have more stats and armor rating than the level 1 stuff too. So why are people failing to realize, that for the first ever cutscene, you can just wear the outfit as gear. The only thing you lose is color matching, incase you have mismatching sets.
  16. Here's another idea. Sell rare drops at vendors. I got that Rakghoul Sleen pet recently, and it's bound to legacy. Everyone wants it, and it's a rare drop that only 1 person in a group can get. Why not sell this at a Rakghoul vendor shop for 1,000,000,000 credits? People who want it will burn thier credits to get it People also really want the Brontes mount and that wing mount. Sell those for 1,000,000,000 credits. A real credit sink should be something the rich put their credits in, and not an something that's an inconvenience like quick travel costs and making people spend more on repairs. People are selling Augs for 2b-4b each. Why not add a vendor in the supplies section that sells augs for 1b each? You'll kill those aug sellers in a flash. People really love tech frags. Why not add a vendor that sells tech frags? 100 tech frags = 1,000,000 credits.
  17. Your proposed changes to the economy are asinine, and one doesn't need to test these changes to know how absolutely appalling and pathetic they are. If you want to combat inflation, you need to add real credit sinks. Let sub players spend credits to change their appearance. Want to change your hair from black to brown? Pay 100,000,000 credits. Bring back nightlife. People spend millions buying those tokens. Reduce the Cartel Coin avenues and replace them with billions of credits. Want to unlock this item in collections? Pay 1 billion credits. Sell bind on pickup XP boosts. 50,000,000 credits a piece. Add a Cartel vendor with a weekly rotation of Cartel Market items. 500,000,000 credit purchases.
  18. If you want to address inflation, here is 1 easy solution. Allow Subscribers to change their appearance using credits in stead of CCs. Want to change your hair color? 100,000,000 credits. BAM. That is how you do it.
  19. This is just wrong, it doesn't matter where you find the materials, what I said is true. Not everyone can craft war supplies. I have 30+ toons, and not a single one can do it. No one does Warzones in my server. In fact, it's so bad the fleet is constantly crying all day "Please queue warzones". If you are not playing in another faction, that is your own fault, and what's the point if you're going to dust off a toon in another faction just to stow it away for months again after 30 minutes? You know what does encourage you to play in the other faction? SD-0 and The First. What suggestion? I already gave one. Copy/Paste, here it is again. Make SD-0 and The First a weekly objective, every single week. These bosses are already a conquest weekly, but no one cares about conquests, so it's rare to ever do these bosses.
  20. Conversations in VM Flashpoints shouldn't exit. Most of the competent players are pressing spacebar through them, some players have broken spacebars and are incapable of pressing spacebar, and then there are the incompetent players who use some kind of excuse of wanting to see the story. Let's discuss the last group. Trying to see the story in a FP formed with group finder is nonsensical, because the player has no context as to why they are there or what the purpose is. You don't know what lead up to that point, and you don't know where things go after that point, and a lot nowadays are just spoilers anyways. Think about the lazy excuse flashpoints Bioware used to tell their class story, like Battle of Ilum, False Emperor, Tython/Korriban invasion, Depths of Manaan, Battle of Rishi, Blood Hunt, Legacy of the Rakata, Crisis on Umbara, Ruins of Nul, etc. Second, if they cared about the story so much, why aren't they doing it? Most of those FPs will be done in your class story as mentioned above. The side stories like Mandalorian Raiders can just be solo'd, but also, the only thing you're missing by pressing spacebar there is "Do you want to murder these people? YES OR NO?" Oh god, you wasted 30 seconds of everyone's time just to watch a cutscene of engineers working while you read that question. Last, we know removing dialogue from Vet Flashpoints is possible, because they have already started doing it with the new ones. Take Nathema Conspiracy for example. That FP has a lot of cutscenes, but has ZERO cutscenes when played outside of the story.
  21. I think the only people who dislike mounts on the fleet are the poor ones who are jealous others have cooler mounts than them. Or perhaps jealous they suck too much to ever get the Brontes mount or Wing mount. fr
  22. Why not just use Steam Authentication Tokens? I am already authenticated in Steam, so just log me in.
  23. You can visit Ruhnuk without starting the story. You just can't use the mission board, which AFAIK is probably not worth doing compared to shorter, and more easier ones like Black Hole and CZ-198
  24. How is that rule enforced? I see hundreds of real world names allowed, but a small handfull are disallowed. My guess is all real world names are allowed, unless that name is of a Bioware employee.
  25. Make better objectives for Galatic Seasons. No one gives a flying rat's butt about GSF, Uprisings, or Warzones. Take those out of the objectives. Also, not everyone has the ability to craft war supplies. Take those out. There are other pathetic ones too, such as go to planet and kill 2 named NPCs as pub, and then go to same planet and kill 2named NPCs as imp. Those are pathetic. Make SD-0 and The First a weekly objective, every single week. These bosses are already a conquest weekly, but no one cares about conquests, so it's rare to ever do these bosses. STOP CAPPING GAME MODULES. I am always at 200.
