  1. If, on the other hand, you don't often have several consecutive hours to play, you can't really do the Ops. That's my problem. I have yet to complete a single operation and I have had at least one level 55 character for about a year.
  2. I've just done the IA quest, but a. it was really cool seeing loose ends tied up like that. b. it also set up possible future quests (which I want to see!) c. for the first time since finishing Act III, I really felt like the ultra-deadly, bad-a** secret agent I knew I was.
  3. When I went out to dinner last week, the food was not very good. I demanded that the manager not only refund the cost of that meal, but the cost of all other meals I had ever eaten there.
  4. I did the class quest for my IA - even if it is just that one mission, it was really fun to a) set up possible future quests and b) deal with some loose ends. Hope that wasn't too spoilery!
  5. Which makes you . . . And preemptively, makes me . . .
  6. I played a little bit yesterday and enjoyed what I saw. Except that between re-buying all my skills and spending 50K per previously-maxed crew skill, all of my characters are broke.
  7. They should do that for every droid companion - but especially 4X, since the rest of my Havoc Squad is color-matched.
  8. RIP Freighter Flyby on my Scoundrel. Ah well, it was fun while it lasted.
  9. They could do that with SCORPIO too while they are at it.
  10. I presume it takes into account choices we made already? I ask because when my BH hit level 47, I got the Makeb quest from the holoterminal, which made specific references to an event I hadn't dealt with yet - and then, when I got to that point, I made a different choice from what the cutscene had said, so it wasn't even accurate.
  11. I think the OP's idea is cool. Just carve out a little extra space on the edge of the maps, put it in an instance, keep it locked behind a quest so no one stumbles in.
  12. I'm all for exclusive, one-time content. Even though I haven't gotten any of it myself. (Well, a couple pets, a few speeders, and two titles, but those don't complete achievements I don't think.) They just need a new category in Achievements for no-longer-available stuff.
  13. I feel like an inability to get past a single-player challenge like that would weed out the worst of the worst, though. It would just need to be hard enough that "press 1 and stand in stupid" will get you killed before you can complete it.
  14. All the animation and stuff is designed around the idea that the player can only be one of a few sizes. They have specifically said they will never have player species that require resizing.
  15. The idea has merit, if it were adapted. Having a sort of single-player test that requires you to put out good DPS, or tank, or heal; and also requires you to know mechanics (how to apply them in general) would go a long way towards showing that you can handle yourself in a FP/Op as long as someone else knows the mechanics.
  16. I know this is a huge bump, but I ran into a specific example yesterday when my PB Mara went from Dark III to Dark IV yesterday. I was was left with a few options: *Display the Dark IV corruption, which doesn't look good on him (since it is no longer possible to tell he's a PB) *Remove all corruption, which doesn't look as good as the Dark III did (I chose the dye on his outfit when he was at III) *Force him to stay at Dark III, which is not what I would have the character do Being able to choose to keep his appearance at III would be pretty great.
  17. I think it takes MORE discipline to go that long without giving in to the temptation of making your character useful . . .
  18. I remain unconvinced that there is anything wrong with the statement, "if you wish to play in a group, and do group content, you owe it to your group members to play the way your class is supposed to play, rather than in a way that is highly ineffective." I mean, okay, the OP comes off a bit elitist. But I would hate to be stuck doing a FP with a "ranged" PT, or someone who doesn't bother with a stance, or whatever. They are making it harder not only for them, but for me. And if they didn't KNOW the right way to do it? Here's a chance to learn!
  19. I am willing to bet that this shipment had a higher than normal number of packs/crates sold, from people wanting to buy decorations. After all, that's how I ended up with so many of them.
  20. Yeah, I'd just need twice as many decorations. Ah well, as I implied, it wouldn't surprise me if no one else who plays the game thinks the same way as me on this.
  21. This is one of the odder arguments I have seen . . . Anyways, acknowledging that the weapons are unpopular in general, my opinion is: sure, they aren't the best looking. And I have a higher than normal number of them, since the only hypercrate I've ever purchased was the Constable. I wouldn't give them to most of my characters, but a few of the weapons go well with the style I am going for with a few of my companions. So that's a thing. And if I can RE the rest, so much the better.
  22. When I discovered that SHs were per legacy, not per character, I sort of moved away from thinking of them as houses for individuals and more as bases of operations or something. Anyways, in order to maximize my decoration density, I am focusing on my NS SH instead of the others. Thing is, I want to set up one room as a Sith room, one as a Jedi room, and just pretend the whole thing is actually not run by either faction but is independent. But it would be a little easier to do this if my Imps couldn't enter Pub rooms, and vice versa. This isn't really a request - I don't know if anyone but me would ever use such a feature, and there are much better ways for the devs to spend time. But if they ever run out of ideas, well, here's one.
