  1. I'm in full 248 and my roaming mend in granked against a pt tank literally crits for 9k feelsbadman. Also aids carb is back it's fine for regs but honestly for group ranked even merc might be stronger now
  2. For starters... yes balance comes from pvp because pvers are happy to be carried by op classes. Secondly, healing was insanely overtuned. Any old nim raider will be able to tell you that healing has gotten so much stronger over time. If you think healers are weak idk what to tell you
  3. Well ofc nerfs come from pvp. Which pver will complain about their class being super good in ops and carrying them? Lol. And sorc heals should put out less healing than others considering how easy they are to play decently
  4. Corruption was broken op and easy af to play since 3.0. The spec still has good instant burst and a host of other tools as well as being much easier to play than op or merc (kolto probes and heat management eek). Honestly... people need to suck it up. It was way too easy to get good numbers on a sorc and now the output matches effort put in imo
  5. Force cost increases hardly hurt lightning, it's nearly impossible to run out of force unless you intentionally try to. The slight Nerf to static barrier isn't that big of a deal. If you're talking about dps... melee should do more dmg than ranged and sustained more than burst. Lightning is ranged burst so it should be bottom of the stack anyway
  6. Just my thoughts on the patch... I'm not noticing too much of a resource difference post nerf, but then again I always built extra consuming darknesses into my rotation to save force for burn phases. The biggest things are that innervate crits and roaming mend crits for me cap out at 8k and 15k respectively in full 248. The roaming mend is very noticeable and suddenly bursting someone back up to full isn't as strong as it was, of course. Another thing is that the spec feels slower due to longer innervate and force bending procced dark infusion. Just something to get used to. We still have better tools than any other healer class and the burst heals are still better than merc imo. Don't try to heal through pressure tho.. lol
  7. Force Hug: innervate now has four beams which can heal four allies at once, and cannot be interrupted. Yus
  8. Mercs are shut down very easily and operative is very vulnerable to spikes of damage and cc. The thing that makes sorc heals so strong is their mobility and burst healing, much of which is instant. Yes, the class will be weaker but it still has the best tools for wzs
  9. Honestly the best way is to just catch a sniper while they're running to the point. They're at their most vulnerable when moving out of cover and have the giant deactivator mod icon above their heads

  12. Nerfing sorc heals without buffing op or merc heals should have an interesting effect on the ttk.
  13. Unplayable is pyro pt. Lightning has a much easier time than alot of other specs lol. I like it more than any other spec in the game tbh
  14. Bolster should be as high as possible. It's really painful to be not able to play alts because of how hard it is to gear, and a higher bolster would help

  16. It's pretty bad for pvp. Double dots already were difficult to heal through on a sorc and now it'll be alot harder, if not impossible. It's also important to consider how much of corruption's survivability came from abilities like innervate and roaming mend, both of which were clubbed. Sorc burst healing also took a huge hit with roaming mend and innervate nerfs. And all of this isn't even considering how increased force costs will screw it up even more. I'm just going operative at this point
  17. Tanks apply a 5% accuracy debuff thingy so I believe that's why white damage dealers pick up 5% extra

  19. Sheer hps alone isn't a good way to determine which healer is best.
  20. The main issue with sorc heals is that they're really good against everything but very heavy sustained pressure. Healers in this game work well when they have a niche, like op heals aoe and sustained healing, merc burst healing, etc. Put sorc back in its place
  21. Hi poison, I think the bug was actually here in 2.x too xd In regards to the bugged records, we should strive for integrity and honesty in everything we do, no matter how trifling. Accepting exploited records compromises that. But that's just what I think
