I really wish they had nerfed kolto waves over nerfing recuperative and surgical probe... this is a straight up nerf for operative in group ranked without any burst healing benefit whatsoever considering that good teams will not let you cast the new bursty kolto infusion. Also discouraging is the nerf to TA generation which will cut down on how many surgical probes you can use, which is another nerf to operative burst healing bc it's one of the few instant bursty heals we have. Tldr this doesn't help operative burst healing in group ranked at all while nerfing the sustained

  4. The operative and sorc nerfs are both rougher for those classes in pvp, and merc is still tankier than any other healer class.
  5. The issue with three of the four tank stats is that they don't work very well. For instance, defense only works against melee/ranged white damage, which wasn't too much of a problem until Bioware decided that EVERY tank mod would now have defense. Shield and absorb are linked together, and both are kinda worthless because you can't shield critical hits, and the average crit chance these past few expansions has gone from 20% ish to 40-45%, making both shield and absorb a lot less useful. The only tanky stat left of you really want to be a meat shield is just to stack endurance for more hp, since that works against crits and yellow damage.

  7. Just because you spam the forums with your opinion of what a tank should do doesn't mean bioware or anyone should pay attention to you. If you want to actually look at class balance look at sniper 5.0 healing utils and ruthless aggressor.
  8. Why should tanks not be allowed to dps? While I agree tank stats aren't very enticing and should be buffed, I don't see why it's a "fact" that tanks should be purely protection bots who guard and taunt. That is an extremely boring play style. On the other hand, exceptional players can showcase their talent on tank classes right now by not only correctly managing their tools for protection and cc, but also maintaining high damage while doing that. I think your proposal would dumb down the role, and I'm not sure that's as good of a thing as you seem to think it is. TL: DR Please stop calling your opinion of what a tank should do in pvp a fact
  9. Acid is pretty rare since the sorc nerds. Unless you actively try to offheal etc to draw it out to acid

  20. Um. Sorc heals and merc heals might be better if you're doing regs or something but operatives are very strong in places like group ranked. Look at someone like poison who can be interrupted nearly every time and still be able to break 10k hps with just his instants. Merc heals are much easier to shut down, and they honestly just lack the output in a sustained sense. Save ccs for when they pop their immunities and simply interrupt when those abilities aren't running. And sorc heals... well. They weren't amazing at healing pressure before and that's just gotten worse
  21. Stim boost now grants interrupt immunity.
  22. Meh I would be wary of buffing powertech too much considering how obscenely powerful carb is
