  1. Assassin's don't need this nerf. I frequently play end game content and simply nerfing the damage of the class to cater to PVPers is wrong. The damage that the assassin puts out is perfectly fine the way it is. Deception is fine and so it Hatred. DON'T nerf this class, there are people who are sick and tired of seeing nerf after nerf after nerf. You might as well sign a contract with Nerf and create ingame nerf guns because your RUINING endgame content and making it so only a specific comp can do those end game ops. It's not fun if I have to play a class I don't enjoy for NiMs.
  2. Can you fix how **** you made sorc healing in PVE? it seems like you need full 248 or 246 in order to deal enough healing to be viable for NiM content, whereas when I play merc. I could outheal other merc or op or sorc healers in better gear than me just by being better at the class. Also please don't touch merc healing, it's lovely and perfectly balanced in PVE right now.
  3. That's PVP, this nerf was for PVP, I was complaining about how sorc is performing in PVE. The nerf was needed in PVP, but it seriously hit PVE.
  4. Alright, Devs. Please see this, so we know that at launch swtor had one of the top 5 populations for MMOs. Now it can't even scratch those numbers. So, back in 3.0 you saw a massive dip in your community, please review those patch notes, and the status of the classes in pre 3.0 and figure out what made so many people leave, restore it to it's previous state, secondly. TREAT PVP AND PVE DIFFERENTLY. It needs to be done, put a stat cap on PVP so it's all even and square or something and maybe dial abilities down in PVP only, then leave PVE to it's own devices and if it needs adjusting or buffing, do it, and PVP won't be effected. Secondly. ADVERTISE THIS GAME MORE. STOP WITH THE SINGLE PLAYER KOTET KOTFE and **** like that. if we wanted a single player game, you should have gave us Kotor 3. EA can for sure spare some of it's millions at least to give these devs a proper team to develop, track listen to both sides of the community, and to find out what the players want, find out why so many left in 3.0, advertise you've fixed your mistakes, get some new players in. refill the servers. Make SWTOR popular, it used to be I would watch TV and see ads for this game, it used to be I couldn't go on youtube without seeing ads for this game. Get this game back out there in the public eye, heck 5.2 was a decent place for the classes in PVE, PVP needed fixing, but I guess you did that, just PVE suffers for it now.
  5. Hey there, I made a thread titled "Sorc Healing 5.3 is terrible" and while I still stand by my argument, I do understand and recognize the nerfs for PVP WERE NEEDED. I did a bit of PVP ranked and my god I could survive all four people on me without going below 50%, but now that I made the change to NiM content and as a main sorc healer, I can't get NiM numbers, many of my team members agree that sorc healing for pve is dead. The nerfs fit perfectly i'd wager for PVP, but not for PVE. If you could reduce the nerfs to healing, but keep the new force management that would be a more acceptable nerf for PVE. Yet set the previous nerfs from 5.3 to be the new sorc/seer nerf for PVE. As while not many people attempt them anymore, You still need to make a class viable for NiM and right now sorcs ain't cutting it. I hear Madness is still crap, and Lightning is still garbage unless you're a god at it, and now the healing is too far gone. I put a lot of effort in my sorc healer and mainly have 246 gear, i've tried to work with the nerf, change my rotation around, use different abilities more, even sought out fellow sorc mains better than myself, yet i've come up with the same answer everytime, that PVE sorc healing isn't viable for NiM and most NiM raids prefer a merc and operative anyways, so now the class has no point in NiM's, unless you'd like to wipe. I've tried to be optimistic about this nerf, and I am, you guys nailed it for PVP, but PVE. it's ruined that class and spec for PVE. I hope you guys eventually put stat limits on PVP and simply treat PVP and PVE as different entities. You need different rotations for PVE than you do PVP, and different stats. There is no way to make a class perfectly NiM viable and perfectly balanced in PVP without treating the two as separate entities. that is also the opinion of a man who crunches numbers to really see what your nerfs do.
  6. The Sorc heals, have gotten hit too hard, this game is basically catering to the PVP community, which isn't bad, you can't blame them for being upset that sorc healing was a little unfair in PVP, HOWEVER this massive nerf wasn't called for, I played several warzones and yes the sorc healer is still perfectly fine in warzones, however.. I mainly run HM and sometimes NiM runs as a sorc healer, and with these numbers i'm pulling, i'll say it plain and clear. Sorcs aren't good in NiM, most lightning users aren't good enough and don't know the glitch, their madness buff was ****, and the healing was thrown into the dirt. Sorc is no longer a class that can be played with end-game content, and don't just believe me, i'm not a regular on a Nim team, however several sorc healers who are in Nim teams are upset over this, and here is why. PVPers whined about sorcs being Op, they were in pvp at least. In Ops, they weren't so OP and Nims were very much so challenging, that's why barely anyone besides Harb guilds run them. SWTOR, the devs NEED to restore sorcs to 5.2 status, undo their buffs. For PVE ONLY. such a thing is not hard to do, and several successful MMOs do have stat caps for PVP. Simply because the level of healing needed for PVP and PVE are completely different, no one player in PVP is dishing out 40K damage per strike in an AOE area. The Devs need to take a page out of other MMO's books and simply make a stat cap for PVP so everything is nice and even at the end game PVP and so PVErs can still use viable classes for NiM, because we all know that 5.0 NO ONE attempts hateful and all these nerfs, are going to keep it that way. Raids will still be challenging and PVP is balanced, and they've already made stat caps, look at the planets, planetary level caps put a level 70 at 12K HP and reduce their damage and healing by a ton on some planets, so Swtor devs have shown they're able to do stat caps. Why they haven't is completely beyond me, but I just want my favorite class Viable for NiMs again.
  7. I think the devs need to stop bowing down to PVP needs, Sorc heals got hit massively, I used to heal 11K easily in ops, yet now I can barely scratch 9.5K and i'm running out of energy because I'm ignoring the consuming darkness to try and scratch out more heals, yet even with the consuming darkness, the energy return isn't very profitable. Frankly they need to revert sorcs to what they were for PVE, and then keep the nerfs in PVP, since PVPers are the ones getting all the bio-love, and the NiM raiders are getting the shaft. I already had to give up lightning sorc since it was nerfed into the ground when I got back into the game, now i just learned the sorc heals and this is being nerfed into the ground. Why even have a sorc class? And sorc heals aren't the best heals, Merc heals are if played correctly, seen in plenty of times in raids.
  8. My main is Qunarin on Ebon hawk are you still active?
  9. Alright, i'll give it a try, thanks!
  10. I am pretty sure Izax's hunger is a channeled ability you have about 2 seconds to interrupt and during those 2 seconds he will raise his hands to the air and i'll see a little blue bar filling up. http://swtor.jedipedia.net/en/abl/izaxs-hunger That link says it has a 24 second cool down. Unless it is wrong, but I am fairly certain the ability is channeled by the Exarch.
  11. Sooo, I was doing the Voss Star Fortress mission, and with my healing comp on the heroic 2+ version I was soloing it cause it said a well geared person could do it, and all my gear except for my relics are at least 204, I also have a 220 and mostly 216s, but.. as I got to the Exarch fight, I noticed he was healing so I was like "Oh, best use good ole disrupt ability!" and I did, but what kicked me the most was HE WOULD CHAIN THEM. I would disrupt the first one he's use one of his knock-backs (Usually not all the time) and then just like 5 seconds USE his healing ability again, and this heals at least 50K since he roughly has 412K HP, it heals a lot, and I roughly do 30K in the time he heals (These are all rough estimates, but he still heals more for the damage I put out) I looked it up and his ability Izax's Hunger is supposed to have a 24 second cooldown, and my cooldown I think is 16 seconds, yet I KNOW for a fact that I can't stop him from using his heal, because like I said he'll just do "Knock-back, heal, random attack, heal/knock-back, (If heal at this part he does regular attacks, if knock-back he heals), then back to regular attacks." that's pretty much how it is, I am a Jugg, yes I am tank speced, yet my lowest gear are my relics at 186, yet the rest of my gear is 204, the majority is 216, and I have a few 220 pieces, if that's not well speced I don't know what is... The only way I can beat him is if I bring someone else in yet the heroic says you can do it alone if you are well geared, I just wanted to say that isn't the case, i've wasted hours trying to beat him, and I just gave up, and now I write this. Partially to see if it gets fixed, but the vast majority is to warn people that you better have high DPS, a buddy, or some strategy, cause His healing ability is bugged.
  12. I am not a fan of the level sync. For many reasons, the first of which I will address is one that I am sure many uses can relate to. A person like me who has played over 200+ hours of both Kotor games to find every inch of option. Kotor however lacked the diversity SWTOR has, I like not playing a immortal jedi or sith, but the point I want to get across is some members like to treat this as KOTOR 3, and while yes, I enjoy that it's an MMO, you can feel like you're a member and not talking to NPCs, but what the level sync does is it cuts your power in half, I wanted to feel like a true Darth by soloing 'False Emperor' and crushing the pretender, but I can't even get passed the third boss. I loved the soloing aspects of the game, to get away from the thousands of other people, but with the sync, you can easily be outnumbered like you were maybe a week ago when you were level 30 fighting those tough mobs. In the game I want to feel like I earned my place. I earned the right to slaughter those mobs after dying to them countless times. I propose an optional toggle switch, toggle if you want to be your full power or to be reduced power, BUT to keep it balanced, if you want to PVP when at low level planets and you toggle your power off, you may not engage in PVP on that planet that you outlevel, so to keep the fair environment, it's no fun to have 2 65s camping at a critical mission checkpoint on a level 1-50 area. For certain things like World Bosses it could go either way, the only thing I can think of to have is like what you can do with Hardmode FPs, you can enter a special area and choose "Regular level" / HM level (For those higher levels that want to fight the World Boss, but fairly) And it's not like it isn't been done, there is a gate on Ziost for one of the bosses. Well, I am afraid I got caught up in a rant, but I would like the best of both worlds, those who RP should be entitled to their power and not have to worry about that one final boss on 'Hammer Station' FP. Whereas those who play the game for the strategy and fighting should have the option to play the game needing their friends or groups. My final reason is tied to my liking to solo, people are not nice. I was running a few class missions and grouped up, but the other person was expecting me to have mastered the mechanics of the game, and was getting extremely stressed about a hard boss. And several more times, mainly in ops, where people expect so much and are SO RUDE to ANYONE who slips up it takes the fun out of ops, and A LOT in Warzones, where people will spew insults to those who maybe aren't as skilled as they are. If I grinded my way to outleveling that planet, I need to be able to enjoy soloing the missions, not have to group up and worry 'Dang I hope this guy is a laidback player like me.' Those are just my opinions on the sync, I stopped playing for over a month now, but I am still subscribed, because it is a great game honestly and I don't want mine and many other's favorite aspects snuffed out because they are restricted to a certain level.
