Realism? My wife is a natural 38E. Her character is smaller than she is. Also, Body Type 3 is not an "Amazon Basketball Player". I doubt she is more than 5'11. Not even close to a center on your average collegiate level basketball team. My wife is also a female bodybuilder. Where is that body type? Type 3 is all she gets.. and that is weak. I also reject this cleavage garbage. Most armor in this game completely covers the breasts.

I read the entire thread. The problem I have with the OP's build and playstyle is that it seems nigh-impossible to pull off without a Naga razor. I don't like the idea of mandatory and expensive peripherals just to play a class.

Try tanking more flashpoints. At your level, try Mandalorian Raiders.

Don't center on your anxieties, Grage. Keep your focus on the here and now, where it belongs. Decide which path you want to take and start heading down it. As a general rule, I find that low level hybrid builds are pretty bad unless you are trying to PvP. The best stuff in talent trees tends to be about 20 points in, around the Tier 5 stuff. Shoot for that. Most people go for the highest talent, and then go down a second tree. Slicing is good for getting cash when they are not doing anything better, since it costs nothing to send them out and companions like C2 will just sit there and rot otherwise. Biochem is very useful overall and will take you clear to 50 and beyond. I Synthweave for armor, but it is a massive credit sink. We are a very gear dependent class. Do not neglect your armor. Get it quickly. Relics at 19, Implants at 25, Earpieces at 15. You can usually get good deals on the GTN.

I disagree. There are some issues with this class that no other class has. I have played Bounty Hunter, Sniper, and Smuggler as well.. and none of them had a half dozen different attacks all on long cooldowns where two of them COULD NOT BE USED IN PVP. That is pretty significant.

I cheated. I was 29 and could not beat the Security Chief. I brought in my level 25 Scoundrel ally and had her heal me. We killed the chief and then she healed me for Angral. Took a long time.

@Rixavatar We are NEVER really squishy. We get heavy armor, and you can always use Soresu form even if you are not in a tank spec. Plus, we get Saber Ward, which I suggest putting somewhere easy to click or keybind. You will use it. A LOT. If you want DPS over survivability, keep Kira as your companion. She becomes quite the blender, especially after she learns Force Tremor. @GrageVonSydow Slip a Sundering Strike in before that Master Strike. It will make your Master Strike hit harder. Also, don't be afraid to hit Combat Focus right before you Leap if you want to start a combat with a ton of Focus and dump a ton of damage into Slash or Bladestorm.

I wanted to tank badly. But the sad truth is that low level we just can't do it. We get one AoE, Force Sweep... and it is on a long cooldown. We leap in, get the one Sweep.. and more than likely you might get to press it ONE more time. We can hold that one gold elite, but everything else just runs around doing whatever it wants to do. When you tank in level 18-30 flashpoints, you are basically annoying the big bad while everyone else tears apart the weaklings and you hope the healer is paying attention. In the 30's we get Cyclone Slash, which helps a lot.

Do not level Defense. I am doing it, and I wasted almost ten levels with it. Even if you want to tank, we don't get our tanking stance of Soresu Form until level 14, and our Taunt does not come until 16. The Defense tree begins to pay off heavily at levels 30-34, but before that you are doing what I did and choosing to play the game on Hard (or at least, set on Slow). Vigilance probably has more short terms gains. If you want to tank later, you can always respec, as the first respec is free.

Yeah, I learned very swiftly that Guard doesn't work well on healers with Jedi Knights. Mainly because we keep Leaping forward to new packs of mobs and are not always within that 15 meter restraint.

I use everything. But then, I'm a gosh darned dirty "clicker". I keybind some of the more important powers, like Force Kick... but I am not about to bind 15 buttons. No way.
