Why so many fat people as main characters in swtor?
Faardor replied to maximusedward's topic in STAR WARS Discussion
This is true but from a RP perspective if someone is rich, powerful and lets say bored eating luxurious rich foods yeah you're gonna gain some weight. -
Harby > Shadowlands > JC > RP servers > PVP Servers in terms of population.

BioWare You Have It Right, Don't Listen to the Raiders
Faardor replied to JMCA's topic in General Discussion
Don't have any statistics on raiding or whatever but super data research does show that SWTOR is the third biggest P2P mmo in the world last year (and thats an increase of the year before) 2015 was good for SWTOR -

Why doesn't SWTOR motivate for PvP by getting into ESL?

CC is granted at the end of the subscription time. They can also be days late (and rarely days early)

Why doesn't SWTOR motivate for PvP by getting into ESL?
Faardor replied to MrBorsh's topic in General Discussion
Both COD and League of Legends have ESL championships. I don't see the point really. Is ESL participation supposed to make people play SWTOR more? Or is it just to get people more interested in PvP? THe latter wouldn't matter to Bioware but the former would. Sadly I don't predict much outside interest (i.e players not playing SWTOR) in wanting to watch SWTOR PvP matches or wanting to join SWTOR because of it. So any money Bioware would have to front to join ESL (if they would even want SWTOR that is) wouldn't be gained back. -
^ this means you missed an enemy.

- Daily HM / Tac Flashpoint - Story mode groupfinder - anything that gets you augments and augment kits (so either make the money for them, gather mats for them or make them yourself from the mats) so basically dailies and heroics. For groupfinder operations you don't even need gear just practice your rotation if you don't know how have someone teach you, use dulfy, look at your procs (the light ups) and figure out why they are proccing (usually damage increases or CD refreshes etc etc)

Why oh why do so many NPCs have CCs or Knockbacks?
Faardor replied to -Marauder-'s topic in General Discussion
Lol what, either youre not max level yet or you're not using the class right Entrench + Seek Cover + Pillbox sniper pretty much makes it so that entrench will be up for most of your add pulls. And then imperial preparation can be used here and there if you need it before it comes off cooldown. Snipers are the class that suffer the least from CC, interrupts, knockbacks etc of all the ranged classes. this also. -
That really depends on your goals. Do you want your character geared for PVE and do Operations? Doing the daily tactical, HM flashpoint and running (group finder) operations would be advised. After that any time left should probably be spent in making (money) or buying your own augments and augment kits For PvP just do unranked PvP.

Your achievement points are (server) legacy wide. Making a toon (and not transferring an existing toon) on another server is like the only way you'll see an experienced person that has low achievement points. But a new toon (lvl 1 or 60) on the same server you are on will still show your Guardian achievements for example. (and any other toon you have on the server) I know im pissing in the wind most likely but @ OP, Solo flashpoints bro. 208 gear isn't something great and mystical that one should do a tactical for.

Currenty lagging like a mofo in a ops on a msi gtx 970.
Faardor replied to Illusious's topic in General Discussion
Yes and no, WoW is simply ancient and cant really be compared to GW2 or SWTOR, but when you compare those 2 SWTOR still has much, MUCH better graphics. Like some others have said you wouldve been better off with a i5-i7. I dont know if you have a SSD in your computer but if you took away 8 gigs of ram and an ssd you couldve had a i7 instead of the FX processor. (its easy to add Ram and an SSD to your rig and these 2 items don't really increase performance as much as a CPU/GPU) The problem with video games is that many don't support multi threading and rely on the speed of a single core to do most of the work. (generally Intel cores have the fastest cores) Now if a game was solely made for DX12 then your AMD CPU wouldn't actually be that bad or even a bottleneck. Sadly for you SWTOR wasnt made for DX12. Anyway SWTOR does need some more optimization (especially for AMD CPU users) -
Hard mode Flashpoint etiquette in 4.0
Faardor replied to Voths's topic in Flashpoints, Operations, and Heroic Missions
taunt immune during laser. If the person who is getting lasered is close enough to the boss however then the AOE taunt of tanks can reduce / negate the damage. You also dont even have to taunt after the laser hits because its only a random cast not a random aggro drop. (unlike draxus where he will do that 3 second cast and stick to the person he just casted it on) -
Attempted to do a HM esseles yesterday and we had a lvl 60 in it that didn't get bolstered / level synced to 65. This essentially gave us a empty slot because this person was reporting that most of his attacks were resisted or dodged or hit for almost nothing. Before I submit a ticket just wondering what other peoples experiences were. I asked him to phase somewhere else and then come back in but that didn't fix it.

Confused by the controversy over game difficulty
Faardor replied to The_Grand_Nagus's topic in General Discussion
yeah I personally never thought the story content was hard. I feel a bit conflicted, everything has been made easier (well with the exception of PVP because thats just player related) Either because mobs on planets have been nerfed (due to level sync) or because companions are more effective. Flashpoints have been made easier as well, yes even tactical flashpoints. If they werent riddled with people who have no idea how to play their class or co-ordinate on mob pulls then people wouldn't even be complaining. Story mode operations have been made easier as well with certain bosses losing mechanics, reduced damaged, simplified damage, removed enrage timers, etc. HM flashpoints have been made easiers, I did notice however that certain HM flashpoints don't grant the level sync bolster for players that arent lvl 65 (noticed a tank that didnt get any stats and reported he was missing most of his attacks on a HM esseles run) I guess in a nutshell you can say everything has been reduced in difficulty except for HM / NIM operations, altough they feel artificially harder than they are due to the difficulty gap bioware created between SM and HM by making SM easier. I do not exactly mind that everything has been made easier, it allows me to play some of the content my friends were struggling with in 3.0 and makes groupfinder as a somewhat viable way to do operations (I pretty much ran a groupfinder operation run of Ravagers yesterday and it went really smooth, no wipes and while we suffered from the escape pod bug several times we cleared it by following mechanics) But on the other hand defeating a boss you mightve been struggling with (so for 3.0 for most people that wouldve been underlurker) and beating it and then getting that euphoric feeling of victory? yeah you wont get that anymore. -

on a side note revenue wise SWTOR isn't dying. Depending on the money KOTFE brought them its either up or stable compared to last year. -
if I had to hazard a guess you will have to reach companion affection lvl 10 since that is the equivalent of 10,000 affection

^ this pretty much. The muscles are very well defined. On a more ontopic note I would love a body type 5 that is truly fat for both men and women.

Lana. Senya is too old and I certainly dont have mommy issues Vailyn is too much of a nutjob I could list some positive reasons for Lana but do I really have to? Process of elimination already invalidated the other potentials. Altough honestly if I had to pick any strong woman from ANY female companions it would be Akaavi, Elara is definitely a very close second.
