  1. add a marauder to your group so you can have him cast bloodthirst.
  2. probably a moot point but Bioware should be aware that content is almost always easier on 16 man than 8 man. (assume that you get competent people or people who know the OP) **** ups on 8 man are punished more heavily than on 16 man. It makes no sense to incentivize easier to clear operations nor is it a smart idea to disincentivize small guilds from doing group finder alts. Remember that its not just the 30 comms you are losing out on when doing an 8man, compared to a 16 man you are also losing out on ultimate comms from the boss drops because biowares logic is like "HERP DERP 16 MAN FOR WHATEVER REASON GIVES ULTIMATES TOO INSTEAD OF ELITES ON BOSSES HURRR" (hard mode not included obviously but you cant groupfinder hard modes)

Probably gonna get flamed for this but Kinda mis information in the thread here, Rage is meant to be a AOE pvp spec due to the fact that there are several PVP orientated skill tree masteries / abilities in it Force crush: Stop players from fleeing / helps your team to stick to targets Undying: Meant to reduce the CD of your oh **** defensive cooldown (in PVE ops this is rarely used due to the fact that healers are meant to keep you up and you using it relies on them being informed you're gonna drop in health and to only heal you after the fact) Obliterate: another catch up ability Force jump: Can use obliterate while immobilized, self explanatory Interceptor: meant to snare your opponent when you use force charge or obliterate, again allowing you to stick to your target Strangulate: reduces CD of force choke, using force choke in any operation will severely reduce your DPS as the tick rate and damage is just too slow / low, again mainly meant to be a pain in the *** to players and keep them unable to do anything for 3 seconds while you and your buddies either force a CC break (ideally you already made them CC break with vicious roar) or just out right kill someone. Cloak of rage: another skill that increases your defensives, Absolutely useless most of the time in PVE operations since you wont be the one getting attacked im sure someone will get on my *** for saying this but both annihilation and carnage are much better PVE specs. Even in non operation areas a rage tree AOE smash on 3 enemies (since I would say thats the average amount of adds most planetary areas have) would kill the 2 non silver / elite / champion adds. At the same time a normal smash +dual saber throw in anni or carny would kill the 2 adds while providing better single target damage on the silver / gold / champion.
  4. remove the 2 points from interceptor and put them into narrowed hatred. Interceptor is purely a PVP kiting skill. http://i.gyazo.com/8489915a7f99f1e02e71b6954baea1c3.png ^ this needs to be 110% For better relics you want to get the Obroan (or brutalizer) relics of Focused retribution and serendipitious assault (so pvp for a few hours and use your warzone comms to get em) Alternatively (if you have the money) Buy the Dread forged version of these relics from the GTN (mind you depending on the server these wil cost several million each or their price in mats and a crafters fee) For your other gear you should try to either spend your basic / elite / ultimate comms for 162 / 168 / 180 gear or do operations Those being: Scum and villany (SnV) Terror from beyond (TFB) Dread fortress (DF) Dread palace (DP) Try to get a set bonus of either arkanian, underworld, dread forged, dread master variant because of this: 2 set bonus: Increases the damage dealt by ravage by 8% 4 set bonus: reduces the cooldown of frenzy by 15 seconds, additionally activating beserk increases all damage dealt by 4% for 15 seconds. (That 4% is really significant increase of DPS) The set bonus is so good that even a 162 set bonus will be better than having 186 armorings in terms of getting more DPS consider switching to annihilation if you arent PVPing and only doing PVE it will increase your DPS output as rage is the utility PVP tree.
  5. annihilation has the highest PVE damage, the others I wouldn't really call ideal for PVE damage and are more orientated towards PVP or utility
  6. the devs arent going to add armor based on a character that doesn't exist yet. Thats their policy when it comes to armors
  7. well my point wasnt about being able to cast SOMETHING on the move, it was about all your other invald points.
  8. I have no idea how to tell you how wrong you are but you are very, very wrong and you obviously haven't looked into the changes for the other classes. Check the healing changes for the sorcs if you want to know why (they get a moving heal) Kolto missile being a heal only skill now is fine, because a DPS shouldn't be able to heal 8 people in PVP. Since they removed the HOT on the missile (From what I gather anyway, they mightve only removed the increased healing buff placed by the HOT) they effectively also nerfed it. The Sorc will still remain AOE master healer race The Merc will REGAIN its spot as single target master healer race (since operatives had it before, due to their lack of needing alacrity and just going full power / surge) The Operative will remain a moving healer master race class (and at the same time stops being the cure all master race healer that only lacks in AOE heals)
  9. Eh, TOR isn't quite there yet aside from pressing a -few- extra buttons in PVP there really isn't much to press in most rotations beyond maybe 4-6 buttons. SOME are pressed situationally (defensive / offensive cooldowns for example) but thats it.
  10. So we have an energy counter but what about a >percentage< based energy counter? (ala mercs) I honestly find that much more useful than a energy counter, and its still the main reason why merc dps parses for more than commando DPS.
  11. I blame the flood of people going from harbinger to bastion (taking that down) and then the combined flood of Bastion and harbinger taking down BC for all of this!

I dont know if this was mentioned but You can log in and out to change the missions (I also believe that going into your ship and out of it over and over also changes the missions but logging in and out works the best for me) you can even (to help get the missions you want, accept the missions you do NOT want. Log out, Log back in, Cancel the missions you dont want and have a higher chance of getting the missions you DO want
  13. there is no strength to endurance ratio you want to maintain what to aim for: On your armorings / hilts you want more endurance than strength (unless you're doing some freaky HM / NIM stuff where more str for more damage is desireable since any extra DPS the tanks do makes it easier to reach DPS thresholds) in your mods: Aim for more mitigation than endurance or strength ( in your enhancements: aim for more mitigation than accuracy (comm gear has annoying accuracy on it, arkanian, underworld, dread forged etc etc gear usually doesn't or has it in extremely low amounts) in your augments you want mitigation rather than endurance in relics you want 2 tank relics (either one that gives defense, absorb, a shield, etc dont take two of the same relics they dont stack) Since 162 / 168 / 175 relics suck get an obroan or brutalizer (700 pvp comms) as they are both better than any relics aside from Dread forged (180s)
  14. you need to finish oricon story first (all story missions including the heroic) After that is done you can do both the seeker mission bonus and macrobinocular bonus.
  15. instead of PVP to level occasionally (if people throw fits) I would throw in a KDY instead since that bolsters people anyway. You'll lack maybe 1 or 2 offensive abilities and the advantages of the skill tree but the difference is ignorable due to bolster.
  16. its a bug fix not a nerf. And any class could proc both relics if they wanted to (Either through a inbuilt self heal or a medpack, obviously that still has a 30% chance to proc the relic(s) but the potential is there)

Very generic 'recruitment' video, The clan names were in a font too big (like mereel didn't even fully show in the video you could only make out meree) and the ending was bad (I am mandalore? really? aside from the bad voice job, The game has a mandalore) The video also has no actual recruitment message to it (why should someone join? what makes your guild different? What kind of activities do you do? etc) 4/10
  18. Theres definitely some bugged deaths there but also deaths caused by latency. While filming / streaming fights are cool and all it reduces your internet speed (mostly upload speed which is what is used for you to communicate with the server) So while you see yourself at position X the game sees you at position Y and you die simply because communication between you and the server at some point easily couldve caused you to go out of 'synch' I would recommend not streaming fights unless you have godlike internet (and computer for that matter since streaming requires a fair bit of your computer) And instead I would just recommend recording a fight using an offline recorder. Also in order to reduce the latency differences between you (and your group) have yourself and your group move IMMEDIATELY when they see the purple slam of death and not a second or two in

I assume so because the up coming 2.8 release seems to be aimed at gearing people in elite / ultimate gear here are some of the relevant patch notes for 2.8 Players who are defeated in an Operation now have the option to spawn inside of the instance when all other players in the group are out of combat. Players accessing Operations through Group Finder will now be Bolstered to an appropriate gear rating while inside the Operation. This Bolster effect will also provide increased incoming healing and increased shield chance and shield absorb. Operations in Group Finder will now group players for the 16-Player Story Mode version of the Operation. The Operation category of the Group Finder now rotates through a different available Operation throughout the week. A timer in the window indicates the time the current Operation is available. Dread Fortress and Dread Palace have been added to the Operation rotation. Rewards for completing content via the Group Finder have been improved! Operations: o Upgraded to 30 Ultimate Commendations at Level 55. o Upgraded to 25 Elite Commendations between Levels 50-54. Hard Mode Level 55 Flashpoints: o Upgraded to 10 Ultimate Commendations. Tactical 55 Flashpoints: o Upgraded to 10 Elite Commendations. Make your own assumptions but im assuming bioware wants us to get full ultimate gear and when you can get 70 ultimate comms for just doing 1! 55 hard mode flashpoint through group finder it wont be hard. Do a few 16 man SMs or even use Groupfinder for a 55 operation and it will probably only take you 1 or 2 operations to max out your ultimate comms per week. Which makes it a lot easier for people who do not have a lot of time to gear their characters to get nearly 2 ultimate pieces per week.
