Yeah I'm going to say give CS a call. Explain the situation. While technically they said referral time wouldn't count, it sounds like you would have been a sub anyway. Its not like you can turn those 7 days off. If they say no at first, wait a bit and call back. Usually there is someone there who'll look at the spirit of the rule, rather than the letter of it. Best case scenario, they let you in. Worst case, they don't.

I just realized something I have been saying for a while now has (kind of) happened. For a while I have felt there should be at least a second tier of Pref status. Rather than lumping everyone who has spent some money, but not an active subscriber into one category always seemed wrong. At least from here on out people who have subbed for at least a month now get all the xpacs and whatever chapters of KotFE were released at the time of their sub lapsing as opposed to people who just spend $5 in the CM. Its not 100% what I had in mind, but at least maybe its a start.

I'm thinking this, the starter planets were designed with the assumption that new players would do all the missions, so they were most likely balanced accordingly. If this is the case, they should probably just purple all starter planet missions except the heroics.

Actually they only needed to be a sub on all of the four dates they mention in their T&C. That means the likelihood of OPs rant even being true is very slim.
