  1. No sorry, those particular buffs are locked if you started KOTFE but haven't finished the main class storyline I.E 1-50.
  2. Greetings MrToad, In patch 4.0, reputation for companions was changed to what is now known as "Influence". Here's a link to the article on Dulfy which should help explain it http://dulfy.net/2015/10/21/swtor-fallen-empire-companion-influences-guide/. As for companion questlines, you get them by progressing through your class storyline (Influence has no bearing on that). Since you've already completed chapter 3, your companions should have a speaker symbol next to their nameplate or if you're in a cantina/your ship there should be a triangle symbol above their head (Indicating they wish to speak with you, this is how their questline works). You'll want to visit a certain area like your ship or a cantina to speak with them. Having completed your class questline up to level 60, you'll want to go ahead and jump into KOTFE (Knights of the Fallen Empire) the new expansion released sometime back in October 2015 (Chapters were on a monthly basis). That's assuming you were a subscriber all the way up until the very last chapter. To start KOTFE, use the mission terminal on your ship. Hope this helps, AylaL
  3. This isn't going to go away just because you want it to. I concur with Kyrrant on everything that's been said, if Bioware doesn't get their act together then they need to think about where they are screwing themselves. Of course by then it may already be too late.
  4. My sub runs out on the 4th of November, will i still get the companion since i already finished all the requirements up to legendary rank or whatever it was to get the companion? Or will i need a sub for that?
  5. Go into the swtor folder and delete the entire bitraider folder, then run swtor again and let it repatch itself.
  6. A word of advice, if you right click on the players portrait and select additional commands then inspect player you can get a look at what weapons/armor they are wearing even if it's part of the outfit designer.
  7. Hi All, I was in a Tac FP and for some reason swtor suddenly froze on me forcing me to quit to the desktop. When i was finally able to log back in after two or three tries i noticed the bar showing the server lag was going haywire. It kept flitting between 5 bars and 1 red bar. Is anyone experiencing this? I have never had an issue of this sort before which is strange. Thanks, AylaL
  8. Hello Roxio, Windows 10 as i've said before is still "new" and in my experience is prone to issues. I would suggest downgrading back to windows 7/8/8.1. Cheers, AylaL
  9. Hi Aorii, Can you detail how the fight goes for you? It would help to know where you are at.
  10. With the changes back in 4.0, affection was replaced with influence. What this means is that you no longer need to worry about gearing your companion. Armorings, mods etc are no longer important for companions, the only thing that matters now is influence. Your companions combat performance is now solely based upon influence (which you can increase via companion gifts along with choices made during conversations) as well as your companions reaction time etc insofar as crew skills. Info detailed below.... "The current Affection system has been replaced with Influence. Companion characters react to your conversation options by displaying their reaction when the choice is made (e.g. Vette approves your decision, M1-4X will remember this, etc.). Whether a companion agrees or disagrees with your decision, you will still build influence with them depending on their reaction and severity of the action. We want to reward you for spending time with your companions and not worry about losing progression or standing by making decisions the way you think your character should. As you gain Influence, you'll increase your Influence Rank with that companion. Increasing your Influence Rank with a companion directly increases that companion's combat and crafting performance in the form of a bonus to Presence, Crafting Speed, and Crafting Critical. Each point of Presence now provides a percentage bonus to a companion's performance, rather than flat numerical bonuses. This means Presence will scale better at higher levels. Additionally, Crafting bonuses are now entirely driven by Influence rank. As such, the inherent Companion Crafting Bonuses for specific Crew Skills have been removed (e.g. "+5 Armormech Critical"). All players' Affection totals will be converted directly into Influence at a 1:1 ratio, so you keep the points that you’ve gained thus far; however, Influence goes beyond the previous 10,000 limit for Affection. You’ll be able to gain even more Influence with each of your companions!"
  11. Not sure if you can group with someone in kotfe (I doubt it), i am available to help. Are you on harbinger?
  12. They said they would in a recent Livestream in about three weeks. We'll have to see if they hold to that.
  13. I've only seen the options to kill Xalek and Broonmark not for the other companions.
  14. Try deleting the entire Bitraider folder and see if that works.
  15. If you're referring to the Subscriber rewards program as well as the reward prior to it you would need to be subscribed by a certain date. Info for KOTFE rewards here: http://www.starwarstheoldrepublic.com/fallen-empire/rewards For Nico Okarr: "Nico Okarr is only available if you were subbed July 31/ August 10 2015."
