  1. That is blatant lie and you know it. With about 300-400 coins that I have been used, I have gathered about 20ish, lets say 30ish purples. Stockpiles of Jawa junk were came with conquest missions, and people were simply stockpiling them since they have expected grade 11 mats to pop up there. Not saying Slot machine didnt had anything to do with it, it did, as people were simply clicking the living ***** out of it, but saying you can collect full stack per hour is a lie.
  2. Some time back this kind of posts were trolled up and down. When You reach the point where you actually support "that's it i quit nao" guy, it means that things have been quite bad. As someone nicely put it slot machine was just last drop in already full glass and thats pretty much it. They have turned gear grind from somewhat easy to hilarious (as of few minor patches behind ulti and elite, even quite useless except for bying stuff for RE and implants/ears you can only get in new operations) and for some of us who have more than one toon that are playing it started to become more chore than joy of playing. If thats how they want to create timesink, for me they have failed. Got 10 toons, played actively about 5 of them and had 180 set bonuses on all of them, and for soume even double sets. Currently, playing only two, one with new gear, other with old gear since I really dont have that much friends and people in the guild to turn 4 ops per night and get the gear for them. Apparently in 2015 they have turned new tactics that people, or at least lots of people (so that I dont offend carebears and fanbois) don't like. Waiting for my sub to expire in few days, and to see what I'm going to do next. Either way, good luck in your future endeavors OP.
  3. And that is justification of this idiotic post? Every 1 hour you get invested money times 2? How good your crits are on purple mats btw? Also this "good"?
  4. Im really not sure if OP is an idiot or simply trolling. Slicing has been nerfed a long ago, and when you send crew on the mission for lockbox that cost 3,755 credits you expect it to come back with at least same amount of items. However due to RNG it eithe comes back empty handed "Here, you do it yourself I was bored - Skadge" or comes back with money box that grants you 2,456 credits or something stupid like that. What exactly stopping you from obtain gargantous amounts of credits/items and crash the game market or make yourself filthy rich and why you don't do it? Answer "because im fair and want good game" will be rejected and God will kill a kitten. If you find it fun to sit on Yavin and farm the nodes, by all means go ahead. I have slicing on 3 toons and never spend there more time farming them unless I was in very near vicinity of them where I can get them myself. How about we kill all skill trees, all abilities, disciplines and everything and leave only basic attack and everything will be balanced, right? Same logic. Why snipers have orbital strike when we are in closed environment? How come sorcs can pull people out of AoE.... blah, blah, blah They could do that, but you know how many people would play this game then?
  5. Yeah, shame really... I'm from Europe, so there is no way for me to attend any cantina event, but in European countries things are bit different. We can get pretty loud on those events. Problem is that there is absolutely no balance with them. Its either OP or Useless. Regarding everything pretty much. Those of you who were here while level 50 was cap, much recall how hard Lost Island flashpoint was in both SM and HM. Then they did nothing about it for some time, and when they did, they render the bosses to the level of strong mobs. But I guess that's how they do stuff. Frankly, the only thing that keeps me here, and I'm sure many more, is the Star Wars franchise itself. Not Bioware, not EA, not Musco. And hats the card BW is playing on. Up to the point where people really say pi** off and stop subbing/playing it. But then again they will only just go release something else... Circle of life I guess...
  6. Mount that was put in there cannot even count as "chance" to win, as its more like statistical error. Seriously. 0.001% how much bananas is that anyway?
  7. Only restriction they could come up with is bounding it to the toon if you try to swap out mods... Pretty much the same as killing them in the first place. And that would mean, in my particular case that wont play 5 out of my 10 toons at all... ever, since gear grind become like full time job now... Either way, knowing their very good ways of "balancing stuff" /looking at the useless slot machine sitting in the stronghold/ I'll better transfer all I want to characters that I am playing with just to be safe...
  8. What amazes me is how Bioware manage to ruin everything that people respond positively to in this game. Ok, amount of mats that were dropping from the machine was ridiculous. It ruined market to some extent (stay with me I will get to that), and it needed to be tuned down. But decision to tuning it down to the point where it becomes completely useless and utter crap is really beyond me. The market got messed up from huge amount of purples for cheap money. However, back then when Bioware introduced color crystals with +41 stats for level 10, complete artifice was destroyed since nobody will ever buy +27 stat crystal when for 400cc (thats less than a month stipend for subscribers) he can get much better one. And that was perfectly fine. Working as intended. Basically, "Here is nice candy for you. Its working as intended. Everything is fine, enjoy nice gift from Bioware!" said in not those words by the man himself Eric Musco. And after "long debate" with devs, someone said "hey, instead of the candy we gave them, lets give them rotten cabbage!" and everyone went with it. We will toss in 2 statistical error mounts (seriously, 0,001% chance?? always remind me to the ship droid who is saying that he has improved hyperdrive by zero point oh-oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh eight percent) and everyone will be happy. Well no they wont. And let me get it straight, I'm not here to beg for 20% drop rate on java scrap, but Bioware needs to understand, that "balancing" is one thing, and ruining and wasting developers and designers time on the machine that everyone will probably never use again is another. Cartel certificates were like 1-2 per 99 stacks. Ok, might be bit high considering cartel market that they care about, but 150/200 per one drop chance is rather ok. So they have increased completely useless rep tokens, and decreased everything else to the infinity. So Eric, Tait would you please be so kind as you were when it comes to the threads to nerf it and come here and comment on this please since I really think I'm not the only one who is completely unhappy about this change? But why I even bother writing this when nobody from BW will read it let alone comment on this, and even less give 2 fu**s about it anyway...
  9. Wont even bother to get the 2 set. Simply from the fact that with that set bonus, you cannot crit more than twice in a minute. Taking that most fights last for like 5-6 minutes, that is crap altogether. Yes, you will lose some cunning/defense, but IMHO better to have guarantied RN boost than, 15% chance to crit that can happen 2 times per 1 minute.
  10. In exactly how many fights you will have all the raid stacked in a way that healing 5 people at the same time is "OK" and 5+ "Nice"? Unless you are doing 16m raids all the time, chances that you will benefit "OK" from AoE heal are very slim. Saying that its "wasted" heal is why I said that. Not used at its full potential yes. Im not comparing anything. Just saying that I have been using infusion even that I have been told that I'm noob for using it numerous times. More like "regular rotation" even tho I don't believe there is such thing on operative healer No, I will not use it to keep the tank alive, as its simply 1,5 sec, which is probably 1,5 second slower than instant cast. If I have to choose to fire Injection or Infusion on member that is in trouble assuming I dont have probes active, Ill take 0.5sec faster ability. My preference ofc... HPS is there simply because of the posts where people are ranting about Operative nerf for no reason whatsoever such as this one. However, that fight and that HPS was about 80% effective healing (Underlurker). Im playing on not that competitive The Progenitor, no idea what are you consider as good healing on The Red Eclipse, but here I still haven't been told that I'm a bad healer. (actually I did once when the guy in FP told me that I should learn what is main stat and not to stack endurance, while being in fully 180 Min/Maxed and augmented gear) In general, Operative healing was not nerfed at all in my opinion. Same goes for healing preferences and play style when it comes to healing.
  11. Disagree on this. Recuperative was silly aoe heal pre-3.0 and now you have more than decent AoE heal. Nothing to nag about here. Combine them and with 2pc set from old gear you have 15% buff on RN and very decent AoE. Anything that heals 3 people at the same time is hardly a waste. Yes, maybe you can top them with probes, maybe you want to keep probes for tank to refresh HoT and top him. Will you pull big numbers with healing only 3 instead of 6 people? No. Will people die because you couldn't decide what to use and opted for AoE? No. Any raid where people don't die due the lack of healing is successful raid for me. I have been using Infusion since day one, since that half a second comparing to Injection is difference between tank dying or not, regardless what almost every instruction I had about Infusion so far. Still using it on regular basis after Injection and then topping resources with "silly" Diagnostic scan (which was hardly silly since pre 3.0 it critted a lot, thus restoring more resources and so on) I would take diagnostic scan on the move any day given any time. Its crap filler, but with free way of restoring energy after burst phases e.g. walkers in ToS or Shroom boss, restoring energy while running back to stack up is a bonus in my book. And to be quite honest, after healing ToS Shroom boss and pulling 4600hps (old gear, few enhancements/mods 186 and 2pc old set bonus), I can hardly notice that they nerfed it (apart from DPS which I do think was too harsh and too much). Not mobile much, but with buffs on shield you can stand there for tick or two casting your stuff and not losing too much health. Utilities wise they are crap, hands down especially compared to new sorc bubble.
  12. Not gonna happen... First decent looking legacy gear was from Gree event, and somewhat decent Section X. Makeb "hey look at my boiler jacket" is far from decent. Only good looking gear is obtainable via CC. And why would Bioware want to break its main money income? Creating the system where you can turn any gear into BoL negates the whole market in GTN and CC. Simply because you would purchase 1 jacket, which by definition of Cartel market is Adaptive, and send it over and over again between toons (with legacy bank you dont even have to use mail anymore). Im more for investing some designer time into more quality legacy gear than this (tho I have to say that I would like to have some random drops converted to BoL such as D-200 blaster or X-52 sniper...)
  13. Dont tell me about that... after 10 toons leveled, I really feel frustration for having to spend xx hours driving on the planets that has nothing to see really (read Hoth). However BW thinks that Time sink will contribute to collecting more money in the game and more people. Sadly it piss off people that are quite long in this game and they dont seem to worry about that too much. As of time sink, theoretically the more time you waste driving around, the more money you will pour in for subscription time... Dont ask me, it would be nice perk to have, tho now, with 10 toons leveled it wouldnt mean much to me anyway...
  14. Would love to see that happening but sadly I think there is slim chance for BW to implement that. Reason is simple - Time sink... Instead of spending 4 hours on Hoth driving around, missing intersections and ending in the wrong area, you would simply use Taxi's/QT combo to finish it within 1 hour... So, yes, would love to have "Legacy GPS", but doubt it will happen anytime soon
  15. You must be pro player claiming that you have never died in 300 levels, that there is nothing wrong with them and that I should L2P. My healer companions on Imp side share legacy gear which is pretty much min/maxed 180 with at least 168 MH barrel, but that doesn't make them less stupid than they already are. Presence is about 700ish since I have 9 level 55 toons and about 30 completed companions in both stories and affection (all on imp side, and at least 3-4 on rep side). Here is the example which you can easily check for yourself. Solo "Directive 7" HM doing side mission to unlock bonus boss. Enter the room of the bonus boss. Watch your companion stupidly standing in the entrance of the room. If your companions dont know how to use opened doors, there has to be some issues with AI. Bulwark droid. If you position yourself between the shield and the droid the way its supposed to be tanked, often you will get no heals but he will rather pew-pew at the bulwark. Mentor Assassin droids. Start the fight and observe that he will sometimes shoot at Absorption/Reflection shielded droids. Even random mobs that you encounter on planets will move away from AoE or behind the obstacles/crates/rocks and will try to break your LoS. Why companions don't do that, or do that only when stars are fully aligned? Regarding Treek... For one, Treek is not regular companion and is way overpowered comparing to any other both as tank and heal. Secondly, Treek cost either CC or if you have enough legacy level 1,5mil credits. As stated above thats not normal thing for two reasons. Its considered pay-to-win if you pay him with CC and virtually impossible to get if you are new in this game. Both boils down to the same thing that without it you are penalized. Now, if you have to tell your companion to move away from AoE since otherwise he will die, there is something wrong with AI of that companion. Or if you have to dismissi/summon just to be able for him to walk through opened door in flashpoint, there is clearly something wrong with the AI.
  16. Seriously, I am aware that companions are quite useless on end game content but working your way without them through leveling can be rather painful. And they ARE retarded. Here is an example. Pick your favorite healing companion, make sure all offensive abilities are switched off, and that he is in med stance. Start combat with 1. gold mob same level as you are or level below that dont have AoE. Watch him doing pew-pew (for ridiculously small amount of damage) even that your health is dropping rapidly. Pay attention that e.g. doc on Sage will never deploy Holliday even tho mob is not immune to damage. Watch him wonderfully doing pew-pew until Low health pops. Enjoy watching him trying to top your health two seconds before you drop dead. Did I mention that I want him in Med stance not ever doing DPS? 2. cloak yourself and stun one mob, and pick a fight with the other one (e.g. gold/silver combo). Kill silver one (watch everything from above apart from dying) and end fight with about 60% health left. Watch your beloved companion staring at you doing completely nothing instead healing you. 3. pick a fight with the mob with AoE. Watch how enemy AoE incinerate your companion because he is too retarded to move away from AoE. I have seen some bad AI (tho not many), and even mob AI is better scripted than companions are, but this is ridiculous. Gear doesn't help much either since, well there is no gear with +Intelligence for companions. So either kill companions in general or at least make them smarter than vegetable.
  17. Sitting just 6k shy from Legend, and about 90ish canisters, few Barnacles and what not I would like to have it back soon to clear that event As of people with vaccines issues, just get relic, which require some rep but is reusable and serves its purpose of cleansing yourself from the plague... not big issue. I wanted to collect that "infect xxx people" by going into PVP where people in 99% of cases are not protected. LEEEROYING into bunch of opposite players and leaning back in the chair. Works perfectly, and rage from elitist is sometimes hilarious. Trolololo Since PVP'ers trolls us with ridiculous ideas with class balancing, I figured that could be some sort of revenge. Shame that event is not happening every 1-2 months tho
  18. well for one they can do some "sanity checks" for yelling on the fleet... Since lots of us already reported bunch of people for spamming, for start they can implement filters that will exclude ANY GOLDAH.COM chats. At the same time, they can raise flag on that account for advertising 3rd party site with illegal activities... and so on... There is really way to stop them, or to even make them harder to advertise sites. If only devs would listen more to the community suggestions not only on this matter but in general...
  19. I have asked valid question. Will you be able to right click on chair and choose "Recline" from menu without using stupid emotes? If not, explain the point of chairs then? Hey lets RP council meeting... We have chairs and all, but we will RP that we are sitting. Even SecondLife has ability to store animation file inside object so that you dont have to use Animation Override to actually sit on it. I know different engine and purpose, but still I find it very stupid to have chair in your inventory and pull it for 15 seconds of sitting time. Rest of my post is 2 cents from my point of view where I have said that RP value is amazing, but so it was with current state of the game as its HUGE with various locations to roleplay...
  20. And the main question about the chairs, that you have to unlock 4 times if you want 4 chairs of the same type is: WILL YOU BE ABLE TO SIT ON THEM? Apart from RP value, which is great thb, only thing I will do is place free decorations from achievements (if any), zoom out, say "Ahhhh...", lock the doors and never come back. I suspect that legacy storage will not be able to store numerous implants that I have no use but to RE them on OTHER toons, or schematics that are bound to character for God knows what reason, so to me this expac is useless... Good effort anyway Bioware, since I bet lots of people will appreciate SIMS implemented into SWTOR, for that special wawawoom element...
  21. Im good at gibberish... lets give it a go tho without punctuation will be quite a challenge. Hello, I own the Star Wars account for a along time, and sadly it seems that the game reached its summit of worthlessness after the last update. Buffs and nerfs of the some of advanced classes failed after update so badly its difficult to explain. What did you do to Dot-Smash spec by reducing its awesomeness, made my soul hurt and I think its great injustice to me and the other subscribers and co-founder title holders. It is slap in our face by some of the retarded people who don't know anything about the games. If you don't revert changes you done to Dot-Smash hybrid and other advanced classes, I will delete my Star War account, and will encourage more than 30 people from my guild to do the same because I have... aaaaaaaaaaaaaand now I have lost it completely... something about gipsy orgy, twileks, ewoks and Paris Hilton social networking sites...
  22. Yes it happens on OP as well, same as out of combat CC fails the first time sometimes. Which is quite stupid because you never stack accuracy on healer since its pointless. And it can be game breaking since if RNG decide on your destiny in NiM ops, its really pointless doing it...
  23. Probably stupidest idea ever... not to mention it would break couple of HM PvE content as well
  24. Well most of our heals are instant. I have removed one alacrity enhancement for surge, and now sitting on something above 5% alacrity. I have to say that I do see the difference in resource gain, but not too much tho. Tho I have used not to worry about resources, so now I have to actually look sometimes at my energy bar. Set will give you 15% boost on recuperative nanotech, however thats called on scoundrel and will remove 0.5% of armor if going from dread foraged back to arkanian... IMHO it really pays off, since you have decent escape plan with operative if mobs decide to go for you... OFC just remove armor plates, and leave mods and enhancements from 180 gear...
