  1. If I blow off the class story and just say pvp my way to lvl 55 can I still do all the endgame stuff like operations? Or will I be locked out of that stuff?
  2. I'm doing the commando class story. I'm supposed to kill Tavus and he won't die. Just stuck at 1 hitpoint Is this a known glitch? how do i fix it?
  3. Can someone tell me or link me to current stat priority for assault vangard (pve)? I never know if older threads are still relevant Also is assault plastique worth it these days or am I better off putting those points in other trees? Thanks for the info.
  4. With MMOS constantly patching and changing I wanted updated information on stat priorities in gear. Simply put How much crit, and alacrity do I want on a pve scoundrel healer? and are they any known updates coming that will change this? Thanks
  5. I play a healer spec scoundrel. I like the set bonus you get for having 2 pieces. The bonus you get for having 4 pieces is terrible. If i have 2 healing pieces and 2 dps pieces can I then get the bonus for 2 pieces from both sets?
  6. i'm making a vanguard dps for ops and flashpoints. On paper 30% more damage with dot against targets below 30% max health seems awesome for bosses. Does it actually work out that way? I know determining things like this is difficult since we can't actually see our total damage but I wanted people opinions. Thanks in advance for the responses. just a reminder bosses not pvp. Don't care about pvp.
  7. correct me if i'm wrong (I don't have a sage) but sages focus on alacrity to reduce their cast time rather then surge, because of this they have lower surge when compared to scoundrels (can't speak for commandos). By adjusting the diminishing returns people with lots of surge are hurt a lot more then people with a little surge. Therefore scoundrels are now worse then they were yesterday but sages are pretty much the same. I have a 46.50% chance to crit on my scoundrel. Yesterday my surge value was around 87%. Today my surge value is 76.31. My crits now heal for 11% less and with a 46% chance to crit I crit a lot. This is a substantial nerf to my healing. A nerf I don't think effects sages much. if i'm wrong about this let me know.
  8. ok so there is nothing I can do about it. Thanks for the info
  9. could you expand on that a little? like how long does it last? is it gone when you die and respawn or is that when it occurs? and what do you mean by after? alot of times battle are like constant
  10. my healing powers in pvp heal for less then they do in pve. Is this normal? If so can someone explain the pvp mechanics to me. I really feel that I'm healing for far less.
  11. I'm getting that Corso wants to talk to you thing, but when I go to a Cantina it says "Corso wants to talk to you on your ship" then when I go to the ship he has nothing to say to me. Anyone else experience this? I don't want this to stop me from further progressing with his story.
  12. I know that you were pure sawbones before, and probably have already have experience with kolto cloud, but I think its underrated in pvp. I really do feel it ups my survivability a lot. To me the key is that its instant cast. So many times when I have people attacking me I run around and kolto cloud while emergency medpacking. Since both are instant cast they don't slow me down, and while neither is overly powerful together (and possibly with slow release medpack) they do add up. I view the other 3 allies who could get healed from it as just a bonus. I bring it up because you do have the 27 points into sawbones so only 3 away. Thats just my take.
  13. As the thread says, who here actually uses it? I never do. I think the UI might have something to do with it.....the debuffs are so small......If you use it is it good? I can't even tell what debuffs do in the game aside from like damage over time.
  14. There is another healing power not mentioned above. Kolto Pack: it costs 5 less energy then underworld medicine. Its cast time is about half a second quicker. It requires and then consumes "upper hand" to be in effect. Upper hand is a buff that some scoundrel powers grant. It heals for a couple hundred less then underworld medicine. Kolto Pack is regarded by most players as a bad skill. Most people use it until they unlock emergency med pack and then use that instead (may be why its not listed above.) I am one of the players who thinks its bad. I don't even have it hot keyed. But, to play devils advocate with myself. Casting underworld medicine and then kolto pack gives you the most healing possible in the shortest time frame. To me that does not make up for the fact that it consumes upper hand though. Anyway as to your post. Ive never played wow so I don't know how it compares with the druid. What I can say is one of the scoundrels strength is that they have a lot of instant cast healing powers. Slow release Medpack emergency medpack Kolto cloud I love being able to run around while healing. It keeps me alive in pvp and lets me avoid monsters aoe powers in flashpoints (you would be surprised how many bosses aoe) I also love being a healer that can turn invisible. Hack droids disabling them for 1min. Drug organics disabling them for 1min (yes if there is an organic and a droid you can disable both) all while still being an effective healer.
  15. Yea bug fixes are obvious. I'm more thinking content then anything else.
