I suspect, given the current climate in the gaming industry (and the job market in general,) they are pretty happy to be working and although the community is ...umm...somewhat unforgiving (yeah, yeah that's it,) it's good work if you can get it. They have done a great job with these transfers and most of us are thankful, even those who haven't made the cut yet. Though I certainly couldn't blame them for having a shot after some of the forum hi jinx we've seen the past few days.

Just use the accent marks and profit? Also, yes, these are "voluntary" server mergers. They call them transfers because it looks prettier in the press but it's still a great move. Doesn't matter what they call it as long as it results in the game being better.

What's goin' on in here? Got my coffee and my tent, setting up camp for todays transfers. Surely day 3 will be the charm... (Though I admit I'm concerned those of us at the end of the line are going to get screwed somehow.)

Thanks for all the updates and for all the transfers today. Even though I'm still a bridesmaid I am happy to see so many people getting grouped together, some of them will be playing an entirely new game tonight and that should be exciting for all of us. It was fun keeping up with this thread and I can think of worse ways to spend my day tomorrow. Grats to all that got transferred!

Those people have had weeks to pick another name. I made a short list as soon as I heard about transfers because I just assumed, with my luck, I would need to rename all 8 of them. It's a fair trade. A lively, full, server in exchange for an extra "e." If people can't see that, there isn't much hope for them.

There's no reason they can't continue going all evening, unless something goes wrong or they simply don't want to. Let's hope they keep rolling them out fast furious like until it's all over.

I feel sorry for people in this situation. Makes me feel bad about complaining about my server. It did stay pretty active right up until Mid May.

I don't care how ugly it is, my server is a moped right now. Transfer all the ugly people to Space Slug. Ugly people need love too!

If Joveth releases his Krakken, you might get to transfer within a few hours and not days. Having never seen this Krakken, I cannot say, I do hear good things however, big things. Just be patient and listen for the roar.
