This is easily fixed by reducing respawn times. I am sure this will be happening soon. Let them get the transfers finished.

Overwhelm me...PLEASE! After waiting 3 days for a transfer, sorta hard to take this seriously... First world problems are hard...

I didn't care for it. I wanted to but I just couldn't like it. Also, the whining today is actually a little more tame than yesterday. I assume there's fewer people to complain after the huge chunk they moved yesterday.

I lol'd. I find the lack of any updates after the first one today...disturbing.

Sorry if somebody mentioned this already. Didn't Mr. Erikson say they would look at raising the caps after the transfers? I assume this will be something they have to do when you consider all of the inactive players that will return when 1.3 hits. That should solve any log in que issues.

And then they moved 122 servers in one day. You see what I'm saying? They seem to lack any ability at all to manage expectations. The time to take metrics and monitor was in the first two days. Not to wait until Thursday and tell people that some of them would be spending the weekend on their dead servers because now they need to slow down. I've said it before and I'll say it again, they will lose subs over this if they leave people on dead servers over the weekend. Maybe they think they will gain more than they lose, I don't know but people will take this personally as you can already see from their reactions in this thread. And don't lump me in with the whiners. I haven't played more than 5 minutes in the past month and my sub runs out Monday. I will say I won't renew if I am left on a dead server for the weekend but the truth is I'm not even sure a transfer will be enough to keep me around. In my case it all depends on what my friends do and one of them already quit due to the way these transfers are being handled. I'm not whining, I just want them to do the right thing. The mmo community needs this game to succeed whether they realize it or not and I get so exhausted watching them make terrible decision after terrible decision. It's like they want people to hate their game...I just don't get it...

I would agree with you except that ship has long since sailed. It left dock yesterday when they moved 122 servers in one day. Now they want to put on the brakes? Can you blame the people that are left behind in the process for being irritable and a bit confused? I certainly don't. Bioware really excel at setting peoples expectations only to pour cold water on them.

It's calmed a lot since you signed up in April. Most of the worst have moved on to troll Tera and Diablo 3 forums.

Nationally recognized publications called this community "Tor Chan," and with good reason. The only other one that comes close is Eve online. Wow community is puppies and kittens compared to this one.

Also, it's lunch time in Austin so I wouldn't expect any new info for at least the next hour. Seems Space Slug's chances are looking bleaker by the minute....

This is true and on the face of it this is the most fair way to do things but put yourself in the shoes of those that have not been moved by Friday afternoon and remind yourself that this is one of the worst mmo forum communities...basically ever. People will not tolerate sitting through another weekend on dead servers while everybody else is happy on packed servers. Remember the audience here. I stand by what I said earlier, get these things done by the weekend. I know those 5 minute ques last night scared you but it's too late to look back now. Get it done.

Yes but those of us who go month to month and started on day one all expire on the 18th and 19th. Mine is up Monday at Midnight.

My 2 cents is there is no way I would leave any significant number of players on dead servers through the weekend. It's just my opinion and I know they need to gather data but the genie is out of the bottle (Krakken has been released) and some people will take it very personally if they have to sit through another weekend on dead servers while everybody else is playing together and having fun. I agree with other posters who have said this before. Get these things done before the weekend or it will cost you subs.

Well they better watch it, the seasoning is going to be getting really bitter if it has to wait through the weekend to get used in the stew...

Well my sub runs out on Monday. I'm pretty sure there are lots of people in that same boat.
