  1. I have been having issues with typing in the code form the livestream, and since it ends tomorrow, does that mean they wont fix/help me till after its deleted? Can they add it to my account even after its deleted but then they fix the website and my account? Every time i try to sign in, its a CONSTANT one time password BS, um....thats not a one time password if it needs one EVERY 20s. When trying to type in the LotSKrovos code, it just.....resets/refreshes the webpage and reverts after i click continue (and remember you can NOT click continue unless you agree to the ToS. after clicking continue, it just deselects. Very fruserating and annoying that im going to miss out on the reward due to the website and/or their log in system being broken. Any help please (already tried a different browser, deleting cookies and every trying different computers.)
  2. I second the other person somewhere in these responses that I would be greatly happy if they added the old cartel market coin card pets to the GC vendor. (I'm running out of things to spend them on) And if maybe, the Taun Fawn? (the white one with spots) its the only one i'm missing for the achievement. (Then again I might be missing the Tawn Ram? the one from the first server merger, I didn't start playing till afterwards. but hey if they add that too, sweet!) With figuring out how to game the RNG at Ky to get what I needed (just over half way done) this new way IS good but the price increase kinda stinks. Can't we have the price be less TFs and more creds? Or does that screw with the economy too much? Just a request. Either way, i'll keep buying them now, and just buy the ones im missing once the patch rolls out. I do pvp semi regularly, so I can get TFs from there, just wish more SM OPs happened so I could farm those for it but *shrug* Thanks for explaining some more info about 7.3.1, and might I say, you all sound more jovial in your responses and dev posts. PLEASE keep it up. It kinda shows your actually enjoying your work and not being silent or controlled by PR talk. (I mean, maybe you are. But just pointing it out. I point out the bad AND the good. Thanks for still working on my favorite and most played game ever. )
  3. Yeah I liked it. For me, as soon as I saw the concept art from the livestream, before even signing into the PTS, I guessed "Is this the SWTOR devs way of tieing into the High Republic era with the progenitor of the Drengir? the comics already did (With the main line star wars comics and Doc Aphra), Jedi Survivor and Bad Batch season 2. So it made sense to me for this to be SWTOR's tie in." And seeing the final boss I was grinning and went "Yep! I was right lol." And to speak of the "re-use" of the model. Maybe the ancient Sith who experimented on the Gormak/Voss, experimented on the TFB and then became them over thousands of years? And the entire eastern side of Voss is called the Nightmare Lands, all with dark side twisted trees. Yeah it probably is just reusing models to be cheaper, but who knows what the sith experimented on? I mean thats how we got the fraking rakghouls zombies. (my fav cross over in comics and my fav star wars comics)
  4. Agreed, I wish we could get a dev explaining it to us but sadly I doubt they ever will. Plus I think they already "have" explained it to us. Years ago they said "Burst ranged should have the lowest damage across range burst/DoTs and melee burst/DoTs." (Iirc, they said burst ranged should be lowest damage, then ranged DoTs, then melee DoTs, then melee burst should have the highest damage. Which......i'm not sure how that's actually been ported to the live game.) So I doubt they will ever explain it to us. But hey, they can surprise us lol XD
  5. HOLY! Gunnery buff!?!? 😲 I mean, it is small and won't help it much but hey, at least its not ignored lol. But yeah, they need a % damage buff to bump it up a few thousand damage, then its fine. And yeah Marksman needs a little bit more damage buff and the survivability in pvp is bantha poodoo.
  6. Honestly the 6.x was the best gearing system, the only way to "fix" it is add ALL mods to a vendor for TFs or creds to BiS and OPs tokens for people who only do OPs. BOOM. Best gearing system that works for everyone and every game mode and everything. (Also remove gear from pvp so everyone has the same stats to make it ACTUALLY balanced or no stat cap so everyone can get the best gear and go against others with high gear. Can't have this hybrid both that ruins both.) 7.x gearing is horrendous on SO many levels. Yes they made it a bit better with the mod vendor, but its character locked. That is very dumb and a removal of QoL.

  8. I know this is a Arcann love thread, I like him, he's cool. I do really like that him turning to the light or dark side isn't even dependent on your interaction with, but more a choice you do with his mom. Shows how choices with one character have impact on others. Speaking of which, could I ask for more Senya stuff too? I like her. And yeah more Arcann voice lines is cool. (meaning iirc timelines, we should see it in about 4-6 months.)
  9. Doesn't matter if we can complete it, the point is we are paying for a broken and bugged service and they need to fix it. Why are you ok with paying for a incomplete product? Or you ok with the UN initiative of "You will own nothing and you will be happy."? (Then again Blackrock will own all houses by 2040 so *shrug*)
  10. Agreed as well. This bug has happened MULTIPLE times over the last 11 years, you would think they had a way to readily fix it. hopefully the devs see this so people can get back to having fun with the game in this aspect.
  11. Still bugged here. It is the only achievement i'm still missing on Manaan. Please fix this since its been well over half a year and yet it still isn't fixed, even after multiples "fixes".
  12. Seems ok, and thanks for letting us customize it. And NOT removing the current ones. Adding changes but NOT removing what people like/are used too is always a good thing. Adding options WITHOUT removing old ones is ALWAYS good.
  13. You can activate the clock in the lower right one, like it is on live. I was annoyed and mad they moved it up top, but then I found the lower right one, activated it and felt ok. IMO, it needs to be default on the lower right.
  14. I like the new map. But 2 things I would ask/request. Let us remap the M key to the old map (for people that want that. couldn't find it myself.) And letting us use the ESC key to close the new map pop up. It is annoying having to click M again to close it. New colors seem good too.
  15. Have only tested commando on PTS. I'm glad Hold the Line is back baseline, so thank you. Reading the tanking changes seem ok. The shadow tank changes seem ok, OH the damage reduction back on spinning kick is GREATLY welcomed again, so thank you. Also my sents/maras are watchman/anni. I have not tested them on the PTS, but reading everyone elses impressions, i'm worried. Please don't kill the rotation. I only have so many synapses and having to learn new gearing, new rotations, new classes, new specs, really ruins the game for me.
  16. My mindset still hasn't changed. 7.0+ gearing is horrible compared to 6.x. So its still just bad and horrible. The ONLY slight good change was the mod vendor, but having the vendors (set bonus and mod vendor) be PER character through stupid and expensive and time consuming missions is dumb and annoying and frustrating. But I also dislike I can only go up to 330 (soon 336, so at least i'll be able to almost at 340) So wish I could get to top gear with mods.
  17. Also I would like confirmation on achievements being removed. And devs? If achievements are being removed, you REALLY need to start off and be up front as SOON AS POSSIBLE. So people have enough time to get them before they are removed/locked.
  18. Probably still play the same or slightly more to get rewards then back to regular. Not really, but getting rewards seems like the only reason I play since I can't do group pve content. More deocs is fine, getting higher prestige score. Outfits are meh. Most often my characters are made from day one and rarely change. Probably still 8v8. I don't normally like 4v4s BUT I did like the verity of getting a different one each match. Also 4v4s are VERY much faster for the dailys and weeklys, so if i'm short on time, i'll do 4v4s. No idea, no pvp queue pop when I was testing the new planet. Yep, just complete weeklys. Easy just time consuming. Meh, more rewards are more rewards. Agreed with the dislike about the catch up mechanic being with credits. Either remove it or replace with WZ comms or WZ medals. Then if people want to take a break but bank up, if they want the rewards for a new season, they can catch up right before the season ends, BUT they had to earn it in pvp. No idea really. I havn't played ranked since season 3 because of no queue pops and nasty people. If more pops happened and I could farm to get the ranked rewards, I would have. So maybe going forward I can get the new ones.
  19. Agreed with everyone else here. Its way too easy, I solod with my companion (trooper commando gunnery with Elara lv50 healer) Also after he died, was still in combat with many red dots around. What are those? The 3 abilities I understood. Also one more question, what are the hazardous material containers for? I tried stacking both his AoEs on them but they didn't blow up. I'm guessing they are supposed to be similar to the oil thingys at the spider droid on Ossus?
  20. Impressions of the planet are ok. Reminded me of Nathema but with some color, the river areas reminded me of Onderon. I do see how it "looks" better, in the design tech. Design wise from artistic sense, its ok. The entire map is like a maze, I eventually figured it out, but it was just more frustrating then fun. Enemies being slightly too large health bloat pools (strongs and champions) and having to double back to send the data back at a high ground area was annoying and I doubt i'll be doing it more then once. Couldn't find any hidden ones, so i'll just wait till someone has a guide and follow that. The knockbacks from the melee champs were annoying. Only a few groups where they throw 4+ slows I couldn't cleanse. Only additional thing I think I can add is some of the missions were annoying to do and having to double back through many strongs and champs was annoying. Also the mouse droid mission is VERY dumb. The lizards are WAY too fast and having to reset ALL progress, I gave up after failing 3 times. Was not fun. Dailys take me WAY to long. Didn't finish them all. Finding where to go seemed ok, finding items seemed ok, It mainly took to long because of WAY too many strongs and champions and having to double back. Or the mouse droid that resets ALL progress on fail. (Lizards are way too fast. Make them a bit slower, so having to dodge and time is still needed but not impossible.) Not really rewarding. Dailys since Iokath have been horrible designed and I really only do them till Legend rep and achievements, and then never again till I take a character through the storylines. Also decos are WAY too expensive to buy multiples, but sadly I understand its because of other players having too many creds, so I just have to suffer because of them. *shrug* Couldn't do any of the mandorlian relics missions because I got to the waterfall area and ran around for 20 minutes not being able to find anything, so gave up and left. So i'll just wait till a guide shows up. Not really looking forward to more but oh well. *shrug*.
  21. Text wall incoming. Finally got 322 on the PTS. I already was not looking forward to 7.0 from day one of the announcement, but actually playing through some of it makes me detest it even more. For starters, the gear grind is WAY beyond stupid with the prices. First off, hiding the prices seems scummy. Second, needing 800+ ARMs to get a 2+ rating!?!? Very dislike. Plus because of the stat squish/level sync being nerfed/designed poorly now, makes killing ANYTHING take WAY longer and it lower the enjoyment of the game. Thought my character was supposed to be this awesome hero, why am I dying left and right in heroics I can solo with no issue on live now? This seems like a step back. Having to go through all of the storyline content was brutal and not fun at all because things take much longer to die. Oddly, the FPs lv80 stuff actually dies much faster then on live atm. Was not able to test OPs, but I have heard conflicting things. Some people say its worse and they die faster and more often and can't clear them on SM, but then others say its fine. I can not give any feedback as I couldn't find a group to test it. I love the alliance armors in collections, thank you as this is a slightly better solution then making it currency based/vendor like I suggested before 4.0 was released. Did companions get nerfed? They don't seem to heal as well as live atm and in addition to gear and stats being made worse in level syncd content, equals dying much more often and reducing fun enjoyment. The new rep/currency for the Galactic Season is a good idea, but implemented poorly. The currency comes from multiple sources (where as ALL current rep comes from the same source and thus can be focused on.) and it is no longer auto granted. (Which is VERY odd as a design choice, since rep tokens used to be clickable, but then turned into auto grants to prevent people from "abusing" it for conquest, and now its being redesigned backward? I do not get this change at all.) Also can we get confirmation if rep boosts count for the syndicate plans or not? I was anot able to test it, and since they are not longer auto granted, I don't know if they would interact with this new system or not. The removal of 80% of the FPs from GF is horrid, especially for the Rak (Kaon and Lost Island) and the CZ (Labs and Meltdown), because you can not complete those storylines in solo mode, and they do not have a GSI "GOD" droid (just like Athiss, Hammer Station, Cademimu, Mando Raiders and Red Reaper) Are they going to have the GSI droid added to them to compensate for their removal from the GF to find others to help complete them? If not, that is a horrid overlook. Also dislike the removal of the heroic and dailys weeklys from the solo, but I can still get them from the terminal on fleet or on the planet, so its more just an annoying idiocy. (Still don't get why this poor design choice was made, but at least I can get around it.) Overall, I did not like this preview of 7.0 incoming in a month. Which is sad, because I love this game a lot, its my most played game. But it seems like it will just turn into signing on, get dailys/weeklys done and leave. Which sucks. The gearing being not just made worse, but the gear itself is worse. Gear is a tool, NOT a reward. Everyone should have the same tools, everyone should not have the same rewards. Rewards are based on time/work you put into it. Dying more often now, not only ruins the game but lessens the impact of actually being a strong character. I just wish I could get explanations to a lot of these changes which ruin the experience and fun factor of the game, and who even are these changes for? I hardly see anyone being happy and excited for a lot of short sighted and poor choices being made. I see a lot of the opposite sadly. I don't want people to leave the game, because a lot of people leaving means it raises the chance of the game being shut down, and I really really REALLY don't want that. Please changes these, or if you can't for some production deadline being giving and handed down by the higher ups, fix it rapidly afterwards as more people find out just how bad the changes are when it goes live, more people will leave. It took 6 months to fix SOME of the issues with 5.0 with 5.1, but by that time alot of people left and we really only recovered with SWTOR being released on Steam, even 6.0 didn't help much. (Till later with 6.1 and 6.2) I really do hope the devs read the feedback and see we really do like this game and don't want it ruined.   22. Agreed on all of this. I will also add, I think its a bug that the dailys/weeklys change each or day or even more weird, depending on the planet I am on. On my ship I have 4 different planet heroic weeklys, then on fleet i have 4 different ones and when i go down to nar shadda, i have 4 different ones. I hope this is a bug, because if not......its going to make doing the GS weeklys a pain. Also the weird dumb weekly objectives (kill with while they are affected by barrels, kill gaurds etc etc) i dislike, the kill solo with no companion is fine.
  23. Commando lv73 "choice" is bugged, it lets you have all 3. (Which btw, because of this it was the only way i was actually able to somewhat enjoy the PTS. otherwise, I detest it.) Also a few choices in some of the trees for PT/VG tank and commando dps do not stay, or I can have multiple of the choices.
