  1. I said "undercut you by 1 credit", not because I took your post too seriously, or in anyway offended by any of your comment, neither does it have anything to do with who you are or whether or not you are in the same guild with me. My original intent may not have translated so well. What I meant to say is that even if you were my family by blood IRL I would still undercut you by 1 credit. If you were my sworn enemy IRL I would still undercut you by only 1 credit. It's never personal. It's just good business. As for 50k and 1 credit debate, it's not meant to be a ******** comment meant to retaliate or get back at you, if I somehow offended you with that. I always just browse GTN and search the lowest price and undercut it by 1 credit. Say Adaptive Circuitry is on GTN for 50k each piece, then I would buy a bunch of those and craft some augments, say Advanced Resolve Augment 36. Then I would proceed to relentlessly undercut GTN lowest by 1 credit, until Advanced Resolve Augment 36 prices drops to or below 109000, at which point I would make no profit after GTN commission fees, or until I sold out all my augments. Then I'll use my profits to buy more mats and craft more items. Rinse and repeat. Inb4 more misunderstandings, sarcasms don't translate well over internet.
  2. Ladder anxiety comes from SC2, where a lot of people stay in unranked queue for eternity because they are quite anxious about the super competitive environment in ranked. And said anxiety keeps you from practicing ranked which is what you need to break the ladder anxiety, thus forming a vicious circle. Once you break that, you would find a lot of fun. Regs lost interest to me a while ago when I realized too many people play objectives.
  3. I am buying the datapacks needed for Rishi datacron. I have the white one, but no the other two. If anyone is selling them, COD them to Yolk at 500k each piece. Thanks!
  4. Every time you undercut me I will undercut you back by exactly 1 credit until the price drops to the point where it doesn't make profit. This is market and business, bro, so emotions and feelings don't factor into this war. If you want to undercut me by 50k, no problem. Every time I undercut you, I lose only 1 credit in profit, while undercutting someone by 50k you will reach the point of no profit in no time.
  5. It's as good as it is. I personally hate the ability to cleanse a hard stun, as it makes group ranked kind of borrowing. If someone stack a tech healer and a sorc dps, they can literally cleanse every single stun you have on the tank which is quite boring as there is not more thing as hard switch. Basically teams just chain stun/interrupt the healer, and hope your DPS burn through the healer's hots/instants or uninterruptable abilities. With that being said, I am sure the best way to time a cleanse is to stay in voice comm and call out for cleanses. My healer can cleanse hard stun in no time when I call in mumble. There should also be ways to toggle your interface settings. I am not sure if there are ways to highlight hard stun only, but there is a way to show cleansable debuffs only.
  6. TOFN is the server with most ranked pops for three seasons if I memorized the stats right. I would play there if my ping ain't horrible. 1. It's a good idea to read. I read everyone's comment on my class whether I agree or not; whether it's in PVE section or PVP section. Surprisingly though, I learned a lot about how to PVP by borrowing wisdom from PVE rotations and guides. I know a lot of people PVE guides/rotations does not apply to pvp situations, which is most certainly true, but I find way more benefit than harm in reading both sections. 2. About you avoiding ranked like a plague, I can understand and relate, as I used to regstar all the time. However after you got over ladder anxiety, rankedz are a lot of fun. Certain classes perform better than others, but it's real fun to learn how to squeeze your class in an intense situation. 3. The best advice I can give you is constant learning with a patient attitude. Never call people hacks. I've played for almost three years now and I haven't seen one real hack ever since Gingerz's notorious hack was posted on youtube. I am slow learner at this game as I got facerolled for a whole year before I grasping the bigger picture of how to do right thing in this warzone. Even till this moment, I still meet a lot of amazing players showing me how they do things differently and how I can improve my gameplay. If you see someone doing better than you in a warzone, or having a higher win rate in solo ranked, ask them what they are doing, and improve. There is always a better player, no matter how long you've played or how hard you've squeezed you class, there is someone who can show you how can you do better, not necessarily because anyone is absolutely better, but because this is MMO and there is more than a single way to approach it. I am constantly amazed how many players are better than me, and the most fun I've had in game is to meet and play with/against those players 4. I'd advise avoiding highly skill-demanding class if you are just starting, for example sniper. Not that said sniper is a **** class, as I've seen sniper with good positioning pull amazing solo ranked wins, but playing such a class as a starter might make your gaming experience unnecessarily frustrating. 5. 1v1 is not totally useless. I love dueling other people. It shows them what they are capable of doing, and tell me what I should do to handle these situations. For example, if both you and an assassin are at 45% hp do you hard cast a crushing darkness or just hardcore TB burst burn etc. In intense situations in solo ranked arena, the combat will boil down to 1v1, 2v2, or unfortunately 1v2 situations, in that case your dueling situation would be very helpful to determine which one do you kill first and/or what you want to do to kill said target. 6. As for your question in original post, constant or professional coaching is basically nonexistent in this , as sponsored competitive gaming communities/clans/events are basically none in this game, but it wouldn't hurt to follow the streams of some players who you are certain that they know what they are doing. Play skills generally scale up with play time. Then again as I said, someone who played longer than you is not always better than you, and someone who played shorter than you is not always worse than you. Keep learning. TL;DR GLHF
  7. By the way fellow players, I am at 1930 bonus dmg, 23% crit and 109.6 accu, I can avg at 4.1-4.2 now but I am nowhere near the 4.7 god parses on torparse leaderboard? Is this and RNGesus problem or a set bonus problem? I still don't have set bonus cause it's hard to find an opportunity to raid the new stuff on Bastion.
  8. I heard rumors that the elements that have been causing those stuff is the nameplate scale, like how you get a smaller nameplate from further enemies and a larger one from closer ones. I haven't confirmed it yet but figured it makes sense why 8M raid has ok lag but 16M is unplayable at best.
  9. You can't have it equipped or in cargo. You must carry it in your inventory if you want to trade it for ranked pieces
  10. Because what else would be the point of returning black black once in a while?
  11. Bubble, barrier and/or madness dots do not benefit from 10%, but resurgence and/or unnatural most certainly do! It's definitely worth experimenting with. However, I would take sapped strength over chain shock any day, cause that 25% on a burst class in solo ranked can be a life savior even a tide turner.
  12. I don't play a sin but I spent a **** loads of comms min/max'ing my sorc gear and hopefully the data I gather'ed would be of help to you. TL;DR Version: there are three ways to go for min/max: 1. Min/max power/surge on everything and use main stat augs to make up for crit loss 2. Min/max power/surge on everything and use power augs cause dayum m8 dat bonus dmg 3. Min/max power/surge after you hit ideal crit chance. On my sorc for example, I'd do this: Long post no potato version: For sorc, (not for sin cause I don't play it, but I hope what I learned on sorc can give you some inspirations when figuring out your gearz), 2 is not a very great idea because you get like 17% crit chance, so can't crit for ages, which is a huge loss of dps because I have a huge surge bonus on all my big hits. Again for sorc, at 25.01% crit chance, the difference between 1 and 3 are: 1 has 5% less crit chance and a roughly 70 extra bonus dmg. At that level of main stat I'd take the 5% crit over the 70 bonus dmg. However, I do see a way of dumping a couple of crit pieces with #3 so you would end up with a 23% crit, still higher crit chance but a bonus dmg that's very close to min/max build #1. Ultimate TL;DR version: just trying to help by showing the diff in crit/bonus dmg with min/max build #1 and #3. I play sorc which is not the same as sin, but those data are from burning 10k+ ranked comms so hope it helps.
  13. That is a great analysis. I am gonna put on empty body from now on.
  14. You need no accu for PVP. The 10% base def chance every class has is white dmg def chance only
  15. No it's not working as intended but can we sort of move on to some other stuff. No offense to OP, but if you scroll up there are literally 3 pages of petitioning to Bioware complaining sin dmg.
  16. Super queue in grp ranked. "3,2,1...queued. We got a pop." Probroms sholved.
  17. If my stuff doesn't sell out in 30 min I just pull everything off GTN and undercut the lowest price by exactly 1 credit. Tons of people mad at me for doing this consistently.
  18. Well, ForceSpam™ will most certainly get nerfed, whether for PVE or PVP balance.
  19. I said that cause the first opposition against nerf assassin is probably massive cry from pve section. Working as intended™ refers to BW's long history of making some classes damn good in pvp but not so good in pve, while others so good in pve but garbage in pvp. Pyro merc is god parser atm, here's the torparse link to global #1 parse which is a pyro merc. Inb4 anyone asks, it's not just the blessing of RNGesus, because top 10 or 15 has loads of engi snipers and/or pyro mercs.
  20. Madness sin on torparse is actually not that good. It's no where near engi sniper or pyro merc's single target numbers. So I guess this is another example of working as intended™?
  21. Many people asking /thread for this video, so here it is: . I don't see any problem in this video. Game is totally balanced. Discuss. Here's background info and origin of said video.
  22. It would be better if we can simply place some PVP vendors in stronghold. That way I would nerd in my stronghold till the end of history.
