  1. So... I gave it a bit of time and and now everything seems to be good. Disregard.
  2. Hey, Currently playing through the Smuggler story line and just got my ship back. Don't recall the name of the quest, but it's something about checking the cargo hold and you enter your ship for the first time which cause a cinematic of you taking off. Well, the game crash during this cut scene and now it loads me back in the hanger in front of my ship with the quest still active telling me to check the cargo hold except now when I go to click on the door to enter my ship, nothing happens. I've tried exiting and getting back into the game multiple times to see it it will reset itself with no luck, I've also tried exiting and re-entering that area as well. Just curious if anybody else has had a problem of this nature and what do about it. Will it 'fix itself' after enough time or do I need to write a ticket about it? Thanks.
  3. Hey, Thinking about getting back into this game after the 4.0 changes. Quick question: Back when I used to play there was just one type of side quest, but now you have "Exploratory" quests (which are optional and "turned off" by default) and the other side quests (yellow triangle) which are still on the map. So, what is the difference between the two? (besides the obvious). Are the old side quests now the exploratory quests, or some of them? And if so, what is the rational as to which quest is assigned to each category? I know with 4.0 more emphasis has been put on leveling through the story missions, but are you expected to do the regular side quests (or at least some of them) in order to progress properly? Thanks.
  4. Hey, So... up until this point I've been operating under the assumption that you need to finish the bonus quest goals (i.e. kill x mobs) before finishing the actual quest. Just wanted to confirm that this is in fact true, or whether they can be done in any order. Thanks.
  5. Hey, Every time I go about upgrading my orange gear I have this inner debate about how best to go about doing it. Sometimes I pay with Basic Commendations and sometimes I go to the GTN, really no rhyme or reason as to why. I basically choose the commendation quest reward at every opportunity (with the exception of when I'm presented with an upgrade for my companion), so I have an abundance of them, but from what I gather it would be wise to save them for the "end game?" Just curious to hear some thoughts on this matter. Thanks.
  6. Hey, So... I was dismayed and perplexed to discover that for some reason when you remove a dye module from a piece of clothing instead of placing it back in your inventory apparently Bioware made the curious choice to force you to destroy it instead. I don't know why you can't switch out "looks" for your character from the dye's you've accumulated (as in GW2) but am curious if anybody out there has any idea as to what their rationale might be.
  7. Hey, So... the Master Strike tool tip has this info on it regarding a Channel time (2.98 sec, I believe). What does this mean and how is this different then the cooldown time? Thanks.
  8. Hey, I'm a relatively new player still working with my first character (Jedi Guardian Lvl 27). I'm pretty much solely interested in playing through the class stories (at least some of them), but I'm also curious what the game offers beyond that. I hear terms like "Flashpoints" and "Warzones" being used but never have gotten an exact description of what they mean. I know it's mostly PvP (at least that's what I assume, and have very little interest in doing). Just wondering if somebody out there could break it down for me and give their opinion on how much of the game I'm missing out on if I just stick with the class stories. Thanks.
  9. That's actually how I feel about PLAYING female characters. For some reason any character I play in any game needs to be male because I'm a man. Not that being forced to play a female will turn me away, but given the choice I always pick male.
  10. Hey, I'm not really sure if this question really has an answer, but I thought I would throw it out there. I'm a new player who is interested in playing through the story for every class and was just wondering whether there was any kind of ideal order for the stories. I decided to start my play-through with the Jedi Knight because I'd heard that was essentially the "main" story (at least in the opinion of some). But beyond that just curious if those players out there who've run through all the class stories had any feedback as to when I should play each class (or which stories they especially liked/disliked). It seems to me that I'll probably switch from Republic to Empire for each play-though (to keeps things relatively fresh) but am open to any suggestions you all might have. Thanks.
  11. Ok... so you CAN queue up multiple items... thanks...
  12. Ok... so how many items I can craft at once is based on the number of my companions and I have to send each out individually. It would be nice if one could have one companion craft multiple items at the same time (queue up 5 belts and have them return 5 minutes later instead of 1 every 60 seconds), but I suppose that's better then nothing. Thanks.
  13. Hey, Like the title states, I'm curious if there is any way to craft multiple items at the same time. As far as I can tell there isn't, but I figured I'd ask anyway. It's not that big of a deal to bring up the crew member screen and click the crew sklll, item and craft, but it does get kind of old if you have to do it every 60 seconds (which, at this point, seems to be how long it takes to craft an item). Thanks.
  14. Hey, First time player running a Jedi Guardian with a couple of questions regarding using my crew skills most effectively. I went with Slicing, Archaeology, and Synthweaving (mostly because those skills seemed appropriate for my class as well as being recommended in the game). I've managed to level up Slicing and Archaeology consistently through just node gathering while completing missions, but Synthweaving is still pretty much at the same level as it started at. I know that to improve it you have to craft items and reverse engineer (or buy schematics) to craft better items, but I just don't seem to have the patience (or I simply forget) to have my companions spend the time actually crafting anything. So I end up having countless gems and artifacts through my node gathering that just end up sitting in my inventory. Just wondering if I'm gimping myself by not leveling up my Synthweaving, or whether it might be better to drop it altogether and get another gathering skill instead. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks.
  15. Hey, First time player running with a Jedi Guardian. I'm currently on Taris (16-20) and just hit level 22. I finished my class quest line a while back and according to the story I'm supposed to go to Nar Shadda (sp?) next. I've noticed that this planet is level 20-24, but when I left I got this Taris Bonus Quest chain. On my way to check that out I'm still unlocking new areas and picking up other side quests. My concern is that when I finally get to Nar Shadda I'm going to already be at the max level for that planet. The completionist in my has a hard time choosing not to do a quest if it's available to me, but is that what your expected to do? Should I just move on to the next planet so I don't end up sabotaging my progress somehow? Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks.
