  1. After sitting in queue for a while (DPS) and enduring some expires and declines, we finally get a pop, it's Battle of Rishi HM. I zone in and witness the following conversation: <Tank> hi there <Tank> we cant do this with a 35k hp healer <Tank> unless you're in pvp gear <Healer> nope At this point I inspect the healer and find out they are outfitted in combination of Green 162 and 168 mods. The conversation continues <Tank> why do you even queue with so little hp? <Healer> are you on your period, i just pinged (???, I guess they meant "I just hit level 60") <Tank> anyways good luck *<Tank> left the group* <Healer> *censored* And of course, the group disbands pretty fast. Now, this may not be anything really unusual. However, my question is: why the tank didn't instead vote to kick the healer? (I'd gladly support the vote, possibly with a polite whisper to the healer why they have no place in level 60 HM FP) I understand it means little for the tank, who most likely will get next group as soon as the GF lockout expires, but it was quite disappointing for me (and I guess for the other DPS too) given the consequences ...
  2. I was already matched for group with them in the earlier pops, so that cannot be the case.
  3. Haven't considered that, thanks. It would require a very narrow time window to happen (around 10 seconds), but in theory it is indeed possible.
  4. Assault on Tython HM. Tank joins, doesn't reply to "hello" or say anything at all. Runs around erratically, pulling groups which not only can be skipped, but aren't even nowhere near the objectives. Pulls the first boss a split second after we clear the trash group under the stairs, leaving no space for strategy or simple "everyone knows what to do?". Cannot hold aggro but doesn't bother with guard or taunt. Has no idea what to do when the adds come, and during their second wave dies in OS. Immediately releases to medcenter, and a moment after drops the group, still remaining completely silent. Fortunately the healer and other DPS were really good, and we got a solid tank replacement in the middle of second boss so the run ended without a single wipe.
  5. I can answer this at least. In that particular boss' case, the adds attack whoever is closest to them. The best approach if you struggle with the boss is assign adds on one side to both DPS and adds on another side to tank / healer. Then, as soon as the healer drops the Orbital Strike on their respective add, he/she runs either on the "DPS side", or "hides" near the tank; this way is ensured that each DPS only gets attacked by one add (and they should be able to survive that using just their DCDs with no healing) while the two remaining adds and boss are on tank, who is best suited for that. Sadly, I rarely see this tactics followed, which usually in less experienced groups means - more than one add on single DPS - one or more add on healer and that can easily lead to wipe. Also: if anyone is taking "AoE damage" during the first boss, then there's nothing you can do, as 100% of the AoE damage there is avoidable both for tank and DPS.
  6. Riddle me this please: I'm a DPS queued for two particular HM Flashpoints. Long waiting, but I'm used to it no problem. After some time, the queue pops as follow: <TANK 1> <HEALER 1> <DPS 1> <ME> <TANK 1> doesn't respond, invitation expires. "You'll be placed on top of GF queue". A moment later, I hear <HEALER 1> asking tanks in general chat to queue GF. Fastforward and another pop: <TANK 1> (the same as previously) <HEALER 2> (different one) <DPS 2> (different one) <ME> I'm surprised to not see <HEALER 1> there, but then I assume <TANK 1> now queued together with <HEALER 2>, or <HEALER 2> queued together with <DPS 2> and at the moment there aren't any other DPS in the queue except <DPS 2> and <ME> - or that <HEALER 1> left the queue menwhile. <HEALER 2> refuses the invitation; "You'll be placed on top of GF queue". I want to whisper <HEALER 1> to requeue in case he left the queue, but find out he meanwhile got a group - the group as below: <TANK 1> (still the same) <HEALER 1> (from the first pop) <DPS ?> (unknown) <DPS ?> (unknown) Now, let's assume the Group finder works flawlessly; is there any valid combination of conditions which would cause me being skipped in favor of the two other DPS? Note that I don't know if the final 2 DPS were <DPS 1>, <DPS2> or someone completely different, neither do I know what the other people queued for (all/specific Flashpoints). I however do know that <HEALER 1> didn't leave/change queue at any moment.
  7. OP, I recommend queueing for the level 55 Hardmodes instead. They provide bigger comfort zone (and thus space to learn) than the level 60 ones, while still requiring proper trinity. You may still have aggro troubles when grouped with two well-geared level 60 DPS, but in general they should be MUCH better training ground than Tacticals.
  8. DrillThrall, I simply have to ask - you patiently waited for 2,5 years until someone answers your question?
  9. OP, here is post I made about an year ago which could be useful to your project.
  10. I had to (temporarily) remove two posters from my ignore list to see why is there even any discussion, and needless to say I wasn't disappointed (or rather "disappointed"); one is polluting the thread with nonsensical nitpicking and believes that tedious = hard, the other thinks that placing player into role of unwanted spectator is a good game design ... My respect to anyone who is still trying to argue with them; but honestly, it's just a waste of time.
  11. That google translator didn't help you much OP. There were numerous requests regarding the now unobtainable Achievements (="success") Sharp Dresser and That's just wrong!, all of them without official reply (as far as I know). It doesn't hurt to raise the point every once in a while, but I wouldn't have too high expectations in this respect.
  12. I was wondering where this <The One> guild came from ... kudos!
  13. Quoted once more for emphasis. Sacrifice a jawa to RNG god before engaging the boss, and you should be fine.
  14. This is the most accurate response to your question, OP. If you didn't like GSF for what it was, there's little chance you'll like it for what it is now - since it's pretty much the same.
  15. OP, I'm sure your constructive suggestions will be taken into consideration.
  16. You probably won't like this advice, but ... I'd focus on getting the 30 millions and then buy the Crate, instead of trying to get the Crate itself. If I remember it correctly, one of the developers originally said that out of 1,8 billions of loot rolls, only -two- resulted in the Crate. With chances like that, working towards it slowly but steadily seems like the better option to me.
  17. Would you reply the same to PVP player complaing about AFKers in Warzones, or PVE player complaing about people deliberately queueing with wrong role selected? When people put their own time and effort into something, it's natural they care about it. Also, this thread contains a constructive and reasonable post from AshenK. Now I've seen it all.
  18. There were no Decorations in Nightlife Packs.
  19. This is incorrect. The first iteration of the event was over before the Strongholds were released (or maybe there was a small overlap of few days, I honestly don't remember exactly, but it definitely started long before Stronghold release).
  20. No. The message you have entered is too short. Please lengthen your message to at least 5 characters.
  21. Swtor-spy mentions two prerequisite missions, Masters of the Desert Machines and New Threats (look in the "Key facts" column). Maybe it's both, maybe it's either of them, I'm not sure. Hope this helps!
  22. For me it's any species possessing a feature which you cannot customize; in SWTOR, that translates to Chiss and Rattataki. Chiss because they always have the full red eyes, and Rattataki because they always have no hair. With Miraluka, you can at least customize the eye mask; so while my Miraluka is admittedly my least favorite character, she still made it to level 60.
  23. Operations: 5. Dread Master Calphayus 4. Soa 3. Terror from Beyond 2. Kephess (EC) 1. Operator IX Flashpoints: 5. Commander Mokan 4. Officer Xander & EN-4C 3. Darth Ikoral 2. Doctor Lorrick 1. Mentor
  24. The droprate is so low that it is completely ineffective to farm them in the Flashpoints. The time is much better spent doing dailies - with a bit of luck, you get the 150k credits in the same time which would take you to run through the FP once.
