  1. This pretty much sums my thoughts (particularly the bolded sentence), except the romance part, since my Agent is a female. But don't get me wrong, despite my hatred towards her, I think she's a great character with great voice acting, as people either love or (like me) loathe her - to everyone their own. Just a pity, as said before, that those of us belonging to the latter group are stuck with her for the major part of the storyline (unless you replace her with the ship droid, who however lacks personality), and have no option to get rid of her for good. Edit: Ah, and this, every word.
  2. No, you are not. Then again, I'm currently (and so far unsuccessfully) trying to get the Empire Cunning datacron on Tatooine, so I'm hardly unbiased. I agree that the mechanic should be trying to find out how to get (to) the Datacron. Not completely opposed to the jumping aspect, but I'd like to see it more forgiving - like "crates yes, pipes no", or offering some sort of "partial progress savepoints"
  3. Completely removing PVP is a bad idea. Much better, in my opinion, would be either separating/adjusting the skills and their functionality for PVP and PVE (as already suggested here), or stop listening to people who whine about certain classes (like "XY beats me all the time in PVP! NERF IT!!!" or "my class SUCKS! give it more POWER!!!") and instead focus on the suggestions encompassing PVP in general, like adjustment to the Resolve system, or lowering the cooldown on CC breakers.
  4. Personally, I think Kaliyo is an interesting, well-developed character with great voice acting. That doesn't stop me from utterly loathing her, though, because I (personally!) think she is a horrible companion for an Imperial Agent. As already said before, she would make a great companion for Bounty Hunter.
  5. +1 to the opinion(s) that the companions are by far the weakest part of the Agent's story/experience. Worse yet, you get the more likeable ones (well, personal preference wise) towards the end of the story, and for the most time are stuck with an exact opposite of what a sidekick of an Imperial Agent should be (thank the god there's at least the opportunity to get your ship droid instead!).
  6. Investigation - Examining evidence and following clues to discover valuable secrets, or researching, gathering, analyzing and decoding secret information. An obvious first pick. Slicing - Accessing secured computer systems and lockboxes to acquire valuable (and often secret) data - again, just what an agent would do. The third one isn't as obvious, and in my opinion any one of the three remaining Mission skills would do. Diplomacy seems to be the most intuitive one, however Underworld Trading presents another mean how to obtain more-or-less secret (and rare/illegal) stuff and info, and hence does well, too. Finally, Treasure Hunting may seem the least intuitive, but its description, The art of tracking down and recovering valuable items through the investigation of various clues, is similar to Investigation, and traditionally, secret agents are the ones send to check strange phenomena or artifacts. Btw, my Agent has Investigation, Slicing and Treasure Hunting
  7. I did (since it seemed to benefit the Empire the most in the "big scope", aka "The end justifies the means"), but I don't have any video of it, sorry. Anyway No idea here, sorry, as I too had Kaliyo with me.
  8. This, please. You don't even need to create a replacement for the lost companion, I'm perfectly happy with my crew consisting of only 3 members which I actually like. If you are worried about players "abandoning their companions by accident", make it that after being told to get off, the companion returns to some class story area on the planet where you originally recruited them - like and the player may pick there the companion again anytime.
