  1. adding them to strongholds shouldn't be much of an issue tech wise.

But it is the issue. That's what they said on their Togruta livestream. They have been working on it but have run into a problem that they couldn't fix at that particular moment.

  2. Funny how these guys immediately took out torches and want to burn the OP because he dared to point one of ongoing bugs in the game that hasn't been fixed in months. This is ridiculous that you accuse him of scripts but actually know KRIFF about operations and what's going on in them. If you were doing them reguraly, you would have been aware of these random quits. It's another thread discussing this matter and once again the OP is ridiculed by people who believe the bug doesn't exist because they have never encountered him personally..

Your mouse cursor disappears/reappears... a lot during the burn phase, yet it is noticeably absent up to the burn phase. But each time it appears, it is exactly where the respawn button would be. This looks like input lag from a macro that did not get shut off fast enough after you died.

^This guy is just a ray of sunshine. Newsflash: the OP was alive up to the burn phase so of course his cursor was somewhere hidden while he was actually using the keyboard to play. This is normal for melee classes. But you seem to be a clicker that hasn't stepped out of Kuats, so that is why you seem surprised?

During the burn phase he was dead, his cursor appears and disappears because when you move your camera the cursor disappears. Amazing right? The bug occurs when you move your camera, you are kicked out of instance.

@OP you should write a ticket and link your videos. I hope you get your achievement.

  3. So you want the OFFICIAL site to confirm the cartel pack coming but the OFFICIAL Twitter is not enough? Ridiculous. Anyway, this is just COSMETIC STUFF, it shouldn't be of such importance to release news about it on the main page. I laughed when I saw the Zakuul Knight news on the main page, lol. Is it AAA game as Eric Musco claims or a generic Asian MMO? ;)
  4. The OP simply didn't take his or her meds. If you follow the history of Eleonora's threads, you will see that he or she tends to overreact and find problems where there are none.

I've got mental issues and right now I'm off my meds cause I can't afford them, so I'm very confused all the time. Sorry to be a bother. .
  5. No.

    I'm leveling through story.

So level up on Belsavis. Do the side missions. It's still the story, and more importantly, it happens before Malgus declares the establishement of the New Empire. So you don't need to worry about chronology either.

We were told that we would be able to level solo through our story, but that seems to not be the case here, is it?

You were told this in 2014 before SoR release and you actually got the solo versions of the SoR flashpoints.

Ilum is from 2012. Back then they tried to encourage people to do group content and socialize. You don't understand that Ilum is old and came before all the talk about "everything can be done solo"? Bioware didn't lie. In 2012, and even before SWTOR was released, they were talking about soloing "your personal story/saga" by which they obviously meant the CLASS story. It's just that a few parts of the old story require a group to finish.

I hope quests like the Ilum flashpoints will be redone in 4.0, so people like you can do them solo on a required level and we won't see threads like this anymore.

  6. Really? After going through the official list https://help.guildwars2.com/entries/95982157 , that is very restrictive, not unlike here, some things are a little worse, some a little better, but far from lesson giving in my opinion.

Those are chat restrictions that are necessary because of gold sellers. The only restriction that can be annoying gameplay wise is no access to Guild Banks and no exchange between gold and gems.

Those restrictions appear to be very soft and player-friendly. In SWTOR f2p newcomers are punished at every corner. You have a limited number of pvp matches to play, limited loot from flashpoints, your character design features are locked, your hide head slot and unify color are also taken away, quickbars are limited to two, you have no access to your own cargo hold... the amount of restriction is sick. Restricting quickbars, pvp matches and dungeon loot is very harmful. Bioware simply punish the player for playing their own game. No wonder that SWTOR has terrible PR. The point of f2p is to give players the opportunity to try game but also to make a good impression, so even if they don't spend a lot or nothing at all, they will share positive opinions and reviews with others.

  7. If anyone can play Guild Wars 2 for free now, does that mean we’re switching business models to free-to-play? Are we going to be one of those games that aggressively monetizes free players through microtransactions? Absolutely not. Guild Wars 2 remains the same game it always has been. We’re making the core game experience free because we’re confident that anyone who loves Guild Wars 2 will buy Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns.

    The difference between account types:

As you can see GW2 doesn't punish for playing it in a f2p model unlike SWTOR. All the restrictions are imposed to decrease gold sellers' capabilities. You don't have a limited number of pvp matches to play nor you have limited loot from dungeons. Quickbars are not hidden behind the paywall. That's how a good f2p system is done.

  8. Take a lesson from GW2: https://www.guildwars2.com/en/news/play-for-free-today/

Bioware simply doesn't believe that people will love their game and spend money on it eventually. That's why Bioware still imposes so many stupid restrictions. They are afraid that their MMO which can't handle 16+ ppl on the screen without fps drops won't get enough love. Bioware forces this love.

  9. I hope they don't convert them into basic comms, again. I'm still sitting on my 10k+ basic comms from SoR release. -.-'

Gimme some. I will turn them into credits. That's above 4 millions sitting in your inventory.
