  1. So let's discuss the current broken tacticals current in game that are abused in PvP. So many cried about Grit Teeth and Defel Spliced Genes and they got nerfed into the ground.

Ionic Discharge for Engineering Sniper/Saboteur Gunslinger - The reset on it with the tree skill along with the damage it does is too much for it. Let alone you get 2 or more running it and it ruins the match and gameplay.

Volatile Strike - Once again broken with skill tree setup.

Two Cloaks - same reason Spliced Genes got nerfed was too quick of vanishing for Assassins.

Now onto whole other issues. Roots and Slows.

They either need to start adding to the white bar, or roots and slows need to be removed completely from the game.

The person who made that comment is a PVP player. There are no Ranked players in SWTOR. You're "ha gotcha!" moment is actually nothing.

Every PvP thread you are in there saying the exact same thing. You are a horrible troll and need to see your way out of the forums, so GOTCHA. Also I would say you are a pre 7.2 ranked player trying to justify the toxic behavior that your kind put into the PvP community and all your comments prove just that. So once again see your way out troll.

And you just proved that pre 7.2 ranked players are toxic with that one little comment. You discredit your whole comment and creditability just by that one single lonely comment.

My third and final rant is please have a chat with your formerly departed dev who's shooting his mouth off on discord servers about not only the subscribers but also about you guys. We've all seen the screenshots of his and I know all the devs have too. It's unbelievably unprofessional of him and honestly disheartening to see how much a former developer hates the fanbase that looked to him for future changes.

I take it this former DEV is the one that enforced the unranked PvP lockout, goes by the name nighguy.

  5. @EricMusco @JackieKocan we get full clarification on the full 8 man premade que as group? During stream you stated that premades would be facing premades. So on that logic if there isn't another 8 man premade in que that there should be no pop for the full 8 man premade, right?

Also if that is not the case then you need to seriously remove the lockout from PvP. Making a PUG group go up against a full 8 man premade is not encouraging positive play or non toxic behavior

iirc Musco said premades can still queue. You will just be matched against another premade. I don't remember him specifically saying that you will be able to queue in an 8 man group now. I don't think that's going to change, groups will still be capped at 4 ppl. So yes there will be premsdes in queue. And 4 man premades can queue 4s against other 4 man premades ect.

He didn't exactly say that an 8 man team couldn't que either

  7. 1 minute ago, Mycroft-Tarkin said:

They answered this. There is no group or solo queue anymore. Everyone goes in together.

No, they said an 8 man team could que together and if they did the system would try to pair them against another 8 man team, but what if there isn't another 8 man team. Will the 8 man team then sit in que forever?

  8. So how will this work if a group of ranked players running two tanks, two healers and 4 dps will work for 8v8 que? They said the system will que them up against another premade. What if the there isn't another 8 man premade in que. Will they then be against PUG group? Will they sit in que for eternity? There needs be clarification on this.

2000 CC total this season and 5 Cartel Packs. You can sell those packs for 300-350 million each. Probably 400 million by the time the season ends.

Shame the the packs from GS3 are legacy bound until you open them. Yes the items you get can be sold, but the packs can not. They did that for a reason too. And that is very big IF you get something gold or platinum out of those packs.

same happened to me over an hour. did an half hour rage quit, did some reading what others said,  man they need to change that wording for that mission. It was simple after someone pointed it out

Also go to different planets and the cantinas there. Don't do it on the planets that the quest takes you on. I ended up going to Taris Imperial side had two gamblers in there all to myself. Got the weekly done quicker than fighting with other people.

  11. So not only did 7.1.1 not drop with GS3 but when it did they announced then about the lower CC that you would get throughout the season, but FAILED to mention that to unlock the GS3 items now cost way more then 2 previous seasons. The companion to  unlock for legacy now cost 150CC compared to the 10CC in previous. The mounts are now 60CC compared to the previous 10CC. So they remove the CC throughout the season down to 2000CC but increase the unlock cost for the season items. WHAT A JOKE BIOFAIL! Year of Celebration for the 10 year anniversary is more like a slap in the face of your long time player base.

  12. I am absolutely stunned by the amount of content that is coming with 7.1, and thankfully even the nightlife event starts with 7.1 as well! I could not be happier. I can't wait for the operation, the new story bits and the manaan daily area! Also Charles, thank you so much for all these years of grade A content you have given us. You will be sorely missed. And Bioware, you are very much appreciated. This livestream was a fantastic glimpse into 7.1 and I cannot wait for more. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH:rolleyes:

  13. I Remember when people used to like to PVP. Not just click on Nodes what a boring playstyle.

BTW This is how pvp is supposed to be played:

I haven't seen a single player yet, That complains about objective play that can actually play the game at a good level. 90% of those that complain still click abilities after 10 years, the other 10% don't even know what a stim is.

Lol sure you won the match do to your teammates, sure you got top dps epeen flex, but your objective is garbage. If you are as good as you claim. You should be able to top dps and objective. You just wanted to flex

  14. Can we make tacticals level 80 only. The people that decided not to sub for Legacy of the Sith are ruining Midbie PvP by being 306 set bonus gear with augments and tacticals. There is no other level that gets this much of an advantage in PvP then 75. The tacticals need to be made level 80 only.
  15. So shortly after 7.0 dropped David Staats the person responsible for the Galactic Season 2 changes, and sure other things, left Bioware. He left exactly 2 weeks after 7.0 dropped. Now 4 months after 7.0 Late release Chris Schmidt Lead Game Designer has left the game. The one who made changes to PvP that no one asked for. Made other changes, and also who couldn't take criticism. He would have the mods on forums remove your posts.

I'm sure Jackie or Keith will say that everything is fine, but is it?

Lets look at the facts, 7.0 was hyped up so much for 10 year anniversary as a year of celebration. Then the very late notice of a 2 month delay of 7.0 because it wasn't ready. We all suspected the team did that to boost the subscription numbers through December and January. In my opinion besides that the delay was due to the CGI trailer not being ready for the launch of 7.0. Then we continue to get broken updates, and drip content for what was suppose to be a year of celebration. It wasn't a year of celebration, this was just another normal year for Bioware Austin release of content for SWTOR.

With key players of team leaving 4 months since 7.0 dropped doesn't looked good. People have said that the game has been in maintenance mode for some time, which I tend to believe now. Then the Ubisoft Star Wars MMO in the makes just proves that SWTOR is in fact in maintenance mode.

  16. So I guess the DEV's have decided to screw us over another way now in PvP. The slash stuck command no longer works. So when you get in miss matched Arena's and instead of just stucking it to end it. You know have to get butt ***** do death. WTH are they thinking with PvP now????
  17. combat styles have nothing to do with this.

when in the PVP queue you can not change your combat style or your discipline. sure something could have changed in the current patch to make this situation worse; but the introduction of combat styles was not it

Sorry but I don't believe that, do to the fact that this game is 10 years old. The system thinks you are a certain combat spec due to your class story, but the system can't tell if you actually switched before queing. Some of these systems are so old, outdated, and unneeded that it makes me wonder at times how they can even release new content.

  18. Doesn't sound very different from 6.* to me

I had better balanced teams in 6.0 then I have in 7.0

Sure might get a 2v1 with healer or tanks on teams, but nothing like this. Combat Style really screwed up match making

  19. So with Combat Styles introduced in 7.0 I have seen so many F*****D match makings in PvP it isn't even funny anymore. 3 healers on 1 team vs no healer. 3 tanks 1 team, no tanks on other. Let's not forget skank tanks are still bane to PvP and something needs be done with that, but that is a completely different thread in its own. Was it so hard to make sure with 7.0 release that match making wouldn't of gotten screwed? Oh what am I talking about. It has been a month since the release of 7.0 and still no major fixes. Let alone the guy that did the change to Galactic Seasons, planet heroic weeklies, and other weeklies left the company. David Staats left shortly after 7.0 came out. Makes you wonder how many more of the team will be leaving so they don't have the 7.0 release on their resume.
  20. Hi folks,

Using our Public Test Server enables us to gather some early feedback, since it’s the closest thing we have to a live game environment

    -Chris

This right here is bull. We gave you plenty of feedback on PTS for 7.0 and none of it was listened to. We gave you plenty of feedback about the last PTS build before 7.0 went life and nothing was fixed. How long are you at BIOWARE going to ride this pony and expect players to think you listen to the feedback, when in actuality you just straight up IGNORE the paying players that gave feedback?

  21. Hello SWTOR Community,

I wanted to offer some insight about what's been happening since the release of our expansion on February 15th. First of all, thanks to all the players who have shown Legacy of the Sith and our new cinematic trailer a lot of love. Many teams came together and worked very hard to make both possible. A small handful of us were able to spend launch week in an in-person ops room. Watching players react to the trailer and then start pouring into the servers will remain a fun memory for me.

Secondly, we know that 7.0 was not a smooth transition for some players, so we have been very busy since launch day resolving issues, minimizing any downtime, while fixing key issues without requiring a game patch. For example, during our first 72 hours, we identified critical bugs such as the issues with keybinding resets, empty gear boxes, and combat styles on characters not displaying properly and we corrected them all.

Since those initial fixes went out, the team has been reading reports and feedback coming in and making additional adjustments; at this point, further changes will require a full patch. In this upcoming patch, which we are labeling as 7.0.1, you can expect the below changes and much more to be included. Here are some of the most reported bugs we will be fixing in 7.0.1:

    • Adjusted contrast in inventory screen
    • Rakata Med-Tech’s weapons and offhands can now be upgraded at the Operations Gear Upgrade vendor, as intended
    • Rakata Force-Lord’s weapons can now be upgraded, as intended
    • The Category Filter in the Ability window is now showing all the categories. The Vehicles category now appears when the list is opened
    • The following now contain loot: Tionese Requisition Cache, Noble Decurion Chest, World Boss Equipment Crate
    • The Decurion Gear Containers and Decurion Gear caches now contain gear for all combat styles/disciplines
    • Unifying colors on individual armor pieces is now correctly saved when leaving the outfitter window
    • Galactic Seasons Reward Level 67 for Subscribers now correctly grants the “Sliced Cybernetic Visual Enhancement Implants” Legendary Companion gift for Fen Zeil, as intended
    • Fixed an issue preventing players with Ryzen HS processors from viewing the list of available servers
    • Companions and invited NPCs no longer despawn during the Graul boss fight in Secrets of the Enclave
    • Veteran Mode Flashpoints in Group Finder can now be queued by all players at level 15+. Story Mode Operations in Group Finder can now only be queued by players level 80, as intended

Players can currently preview many of these changes on our Public Test Server (PTS) that was opened earlier this week. We are also working on putting together some preliminary PTS Patch Notes together, so everyone playing on PTS will have an understanding of what bugs are fixed. Jackie will post them in these forums once they are available.

We know that progress for some players is being halted in the Elom Flashpoint when fighting Malgus. Since the initial report that has come in, the team has been looking into the bug to understand why players are experiencing it. Here’s a little glimpse under the hood to give you some insight into why a potential fix is being tested on the PTS.

We have experienced this bug when playing on our live characters, however, this bug does not present itself on our development servers. Reproducing a bug on development servers is step one in resolving any issue as it allows us to dig deeper into the source of the problems.

The biggest offender of this issue is when Malgus is pulling or pushing the player. This creates one of two possibilities: something in the game is causing the player to take a substantial, unintended spike of damage which kills them, or the movement of their character is causing them to hit something we call a “death volume”. This is a space built into all environments that if a player enters, kills them instantly. In this case, this area is used as a mechanism to ensure players don’t ever get stuck in the environment. We have done explorations of the death volumes, combat triggers, the ballistics on Malgus’s attacks, and none of these appears to be the culprit. The bug remains so our hunt for a fix continues. As this issue only wants to rear its ugly head on live servers, we have made a couple of tweaks, most notably to death volumes, which you can help us test right now on PTS!

As of this post, this patch will include at least 200+ fixes of varying degrees. The player facing fixes will be reflected in the patch notes. Because we are implementing all of these fixes in one push, we want to ensure the necessary time is allocated to test them all to quality. We are currently targeting March 22 for 7.0.1, but we will update you all with a confirmed date as we get closer.

7.0 is a foundational update to the game. The fundamental refactoring of all abilities and Advanced Classes into Combat Styles, the addition of the long-requested Loadouts feature, and the beginnings of new UI/UX and Itemization constitute the most significant systemic changes made to SWTOR since launch. These are only the first steps toward the ambitious and inspiring vision we have for SWTOR's future. We are excited to continue bringing this vision to life in the ongoing updates and additions coming to the game this year and beyond. More story will be coming including new locations to explore, a PvP revamp, and more visual and modernization improvements are also underway. It was always intended that 7.0 would receive multiple updates in 2022 and beyond to celebrate ten years of SWTOR.

Not only does the launch of Legacy of the Sith begin the journey into updating the game, but this update also opens the doors to new players who have never experienced SWTOR before. 7.0 is meant to invite new players to the game while also bringing new experiences to returning and veteran players.

SWTOR is a ten year old game that is very dear to all of us, and we look forward to continuing the journey of a series of updates to make the game the best it can be.

    - Keith

What about a fix to the Thyrsian Gear Crates? I have opened multiple weekly crates and got JACK for my effort on multiple characters? I have made sure I have a specific disciple selected and do not have auto equip selected. Yet I get NOTHING!!! Do you plan to reward players that did these weeklies and got nothing? Re-issue the crates? Can't be that daft and think not returning something to someone for their hard work still should get nothing due to a bug in your game.

  22. Make a premade and see for yourself. Otherwise stop talking because you have no idea.

As for your other nonsense, thank God lockouts are a thing. Keeps players like you from queue hopping trying to find a free carry.

I see you are one of those holy than thou I am regstar warrior. And yes I do run solo and I run in premade teams. You never get grouped up against other premade teams or vis versa. Try again sweetie. Bye bye
