  1. I should have been more clear, it is buying multiples when that pop up comes up to confirm the purchase and need to be confirmed before buying the next.
  2. Right now many purchases cause a pop up confirmation window. This is for the most part fine but on items you may buy in bulk, such as lowbie PVP medpacks or those interrogation probes/drinks for shady characters in bounty hunts, can we have that same pop up give us an option to say how many we want to purchase, even just to a max of ten at a time.
  3. Before lost to merge my first sage was Ryobi Leafblower.
  4. So maybe to tie in companions more we could have a daily like weekly which is gained by a cutscene conversation with the companion and then taking that companion to some place to accomplish the mission. Would give us another reason to have the companions and use them, to gear those we haven't brought out since level 20, and another daily set without having to make a new planet for them. The conversations could even be set up not about earning affection but gleaning more information on the companions past.
  5. Smells like this is not about fixing for balance updates but guidance on what to add for 56-60.
  6. Will the transfer be instantaneous or will we be submitting requests on Tuesday and then waiting in a queue for it to happen at some time up to an including on 2.2s release? This lack of communication from a major title's community manager is jaw dropping.
  7. The Ugnaughts in charge of coding this game once again are not ready to hand over the paid transfer system this patch.
  8. Valid point, but actually the cartel cost of purchases of legacy perks tend to be less about the level limit of the perk than paying in game credits for it. So hopefully here we might see something like: Legacy Datacrons (Empire) Legacy wide Requirement: Gained all Empire Datacrons on a previous character. Legacy level 20 - 5,000,000 credits or Requirement: Gained all Empire Datacrons on a previous character. 1000 CC Per Character Requirement: Gained all Empire Datacrons on a previous character. Legacy level 10 - 1,000,000 credits or Requirement: Gained all Empire Datacrons on a previous character. 300 CC Those figures are pulled out of my *** so not even trying to be balanced, especially without confirming when the perk would apply to the character. Would it be straight out of character creation, after a planet has been left, at the ACT points, or just at elder game.
  9. Latency and/or Lag, either way it is PVP and NiM OPs that are most affected by such. 2.2 is our servers being put out of thier misery, but not without the new content being mocking. As for what content they have outside of Cartel Market coming out, depends on how much faith you have they developed anything of the content in the last year that wasn't already under developement before release and the gutting of the work force in the initial loss of players. My faith is so diminished, I honestly wonder how long till we get NiM Flashpoints (level 55 versions of the classic HMs).
  10. Nice review but coming in blind to this series, I found that it was still very confusing on how the battle of defiance was important in this even more vague invasion by aliens. The storyline came off a little bland and predicatable for the first episode, not uncommon for a set up pilot, but now the focus of the first few episodes being 'murder mystery of the week' episodes struggles to hold my interest. I suspect that you need to see more from the game to invest more. The most obvious villian also bothers me because he seems like he would never have amassed the power he has with his own reactive actions, which gives creedance to the threat that is his wife, but makes him feel foolish and bound to fail, removing his threat value. On a more meta level, I found that the props, sets, and CGI gave a strong vibe of Babylon 5 back in the day, which felt more cultural and deeper compared to its contemporary which was Startrek Next Gen. This one with the western vibe feels it's contemporary is the now years old and very short but very slick and memorable Firefly series. Babylon 5 eventually found its stride and became a great series despite the weaker graphics and visuals, so I have hope for where this might go, but it is going to struggle in the shadow of what Firefly might have been.
  11. Yay new nightmare content to go with the new lag. No wonder so many players are disillusioned.
  12. The game is subpar, or the game is good but below the par of what it could/should have been?
  13. Which is why we are in the suggestion forum ASKING for a feature that is not nessicary but would be nice. A lot of people think this would be a good feature. Several have stated they would not like such a feature. Only a few have demanded anything, and generally it is that the developers should never consider this idea in any form or with any restrictions. Datacrons stand alone in this game as not being story based content. They make no sense and thier placement is rediculous. Most are puzzels of being able to be seen from a distance but misleading on how to reach them. The rest are either stumbled over or placed with zero logic. But that drives most players more to reading spoiler sites than actually working them out, and once the puzzel is known once, it has no replayability value to most players, it is just busy work that takes you away from enjoying the story based content. This is why people and even developers apparently have been interested in this idea, so we continue to ask for Bioware to consider it, while you are Demanding the idea never be considered, and with no arguements other than name calling.
  14. Part of the problem is new content with any story is harder than just a little open world element, and so they really can't give us more new content with story over more to reuse old stuff, because they don't want open world elements and breach their rule on no non story based open world elements. Blackhole was as close as to a non story place we have seen and that has gone from being a daily area to a weekly area. Really in the last year, a pretty awesome list of all new story content that has been given from game release to now - Karaaga's palace, Black Hole, Rackgoul event, Novre Coast, Kaon Under Seige and Lost Island, Section X, Explosive Conflict, Chevin Conglomerate event, Hypergate WZ, Terror from Beyond, Gree-peating event, Makeb, Macro Binoculars and Seeker droid, Scum and Villainy, and finally Cathar (And I probably missed some). Really that isn't bad for 18 months. The problem is that a lot of it was already in production at release. We have known about so many of them through the advertising and data-mining that we knew there a was this future content. I have come to fully doubt that Bioware still has the staff to be making this stuff themselves anymore. The Macrobinoculars and Seeker droid stuff to me seems like recent development but that is because it feels like it was added on, not an integrated idea. The recent developer tease that 2.3 will have new flashpoints (plural), combined with no advertising screenshots or leaks, feels like we get level 55 Hard mode Coloidal wargame and Red Reaper, not a new two part flashpoint like KUS and LI. Advertising for this game is attrocious (the freaking Chevin event is still on SWTOR.COM page), but this is so frustrating as it feels like Bioware has shifted focus to the cash shop, and not to more content that this game is going to get bigger. I don't know if WoW or any other MMO advertises what they have coming out ahead or are just as silent, I don't play those games, but since we have had screen elemets of Makeb and Cathar on the adverts since release, there has always been something more on the horizon. Now, developer's give written teasers in a forum you have to dig through a lot of hate on. New NiM Ops are technically content, but since I am an APAC player about to lose my server and have a ping unable to do NiMs without dying often enough to memorise the sequences, so they are not content I will get to ever use. Worse on Gav Daragon my guild is one of the few who even do HM TFB and SV, so it is new content that will not be played by more than a few by my guild or server, so this is a dry spell for content that will lose more disillusioned members from the game. Bioware, here is a hint, without more guild accomplish-able content, guilds will not keep your players in the game night after night. If not in night after night, they will be back every few months, but then not doing elder game content. tl/dr - Bioware fed us too much to keep it up so now we feel we are starving. They don't even have a shopping list to show what will be in the fridge in the future to get salivating over. If you can't feed majority of the locusts, the horde moves on.
  15. SWTORs failue is that the first step implimented when hemoraging players was to reduce personel, then impliment the new F2P mixed model. Now that it is growing it consistantly shows in the lack of programing and story content that made the game good.
  16. Don't sink to his level. MajikMyst's only arguments are out of context points. That presence is one of several buffs that cross legacy is another point that he is conveniently ignoring as he usually does. Anytime anyone debunks him, he only takes points out of context to continue the argument or ignores the posts till he finds someone else he can take out of context to rehash the same old arguments he has failed to justify all along. He doesn't like the idea and is arguing only because he is too elitist to accept any way for others to do it other than the way he has been doing it.
  17. No screen shots or PTS version of this new content, I am expecting Ilum or Blackhole level 55 scaled.
  18. It has been reviewed in many posts because it is so simple. The fact we get weekly lockouts on the ops is to slow down loot grinding so the majority of raiding players are still gaining gear at a progression rate that should put them maxed out without a significant break between the next teir of gear is introduced. If each time I got an item of highest teir gear for 1 character, all my alts were given an equal peice, then the OPs and FPs would be dropping twice to twenty two times as much loot. The current system is already suffering for a poorly handled economy and crafting system and that request would damage it further. That is how such a request would impact on others game play. Datacrons would not have this impact, so it is in no way a similar comparison of request to make as an arguement against an unlock for legacy Datacrons. Also, please keep calling others arguements garbage, it helps your position so much.
  19. The argument that presence buffs (as well as Crit, Surge, Power, etc) are already in legacy and have been since day one is not my big argument for legacy datacrons, it is my response to your own post that legacy has never given stat buffs you posted only six hours prior. I am going to assume that you have got a memory and are just trolling with picking out element arguments. Please also get a dictionary and check out the meaning of elitist before you use it in a sentence.
  20. Legacy has only given buffs and non items across legacy. Guess what, presence is a stat already spread over legacy, and stat datacrons don't give an item that gives a stat boost, it just gives the stat. Though legacy also tosses in an accuracy, crit, surge, etc buffs too, doesn't it. That is all we are asking to PAY to unlock after already earning them at least once. No calls for free. No calls for never doing it ever. An alternative, like most of the legacy unlocks. You call it lazy, your attitude is elitist, selfish and rude. Good thing the devs don't think like you, and never did from the time they started the legacy system.
  21. Except that POINT is only how YOU apparenty perceive gaming, not how most players do nor how the Industry does or how the Developers do. In all modern games there is more than one way to many play styles and acheivements, and that is what the legacy unlocks system already is. That is how it was designed. That is how it was implimented. If I want item X, I can often buy it from a vendor or GTN, hope for it to drop, or craft it. Each of those is the same EARN. Certain high end ones can only be gained from one of those methods and are bound, but that is case by case within a system. You continue to make flawed arguements against the very idea of this feature rather than where it should be implimented or limited. You don't even stay on the point of Datacrons in making posts, always going away from this unique aspect of the game to make rediculous comparisons that you obviously haven't even put thought into. Is leveling like datacrons, in no way. But you haven't even considered what you have written because it isn't a rediculous request. Elder game has been designed as a completely different teir with zero relevency of content to past class missions which is what you would be skipping. Our characters looks and race are no longer set in stone, and gear can be earned on one character and transfered already. Elder game characters are not in any way some firm extension of the leveling progress, not even as a training tool as the 'best' builds and rotations while leveling bear little to no resemblence to elder game versions and game familiarity is way more important than individual class ability familiarity. I personally see no reason for this feature and would not like it but if someone has already got a level 55 on each faction, they are only Paying for the privilage of wasting thier own opertunity to explore this mostly repeated content. Actually, why isn't there a speeder training legacy wide unlock at a higher cost? Got em for cargo holds and most of the original legacy unlocks, and most everyone will want the speeder unlocks eventually for all thier characters if they are going to play all 8 classes, or more if repeats. But of course on point, your logic is they must EARN each speeder liscence by paying for it seperately! Because!! We have already reviewed multiple times in this thread how this type of feature would have a negative impact on the gear level and economy of the entire game, a far cry from the Datacron arguement which would affect no other players. But you can earn gear one one character and transfer it to an alt through the legacy equipment so if you do 'hate end game gear grinding' you only need to do it on one character. Which once again you show you obviously haven't thought this through in making that claim in the first place. You don't like the idea of this type of unlock. I can respect that. You like getting them on each of your characters, I can respect that. You call it stupid and provide no arguement other than you don't like it. You don't respect that people want an alternative opertunity to bypass REPEATING this unique, non story based and bugged content that an individual character can only do once anyway, so they can focus on the story based elements and gear grind of the rest of the game that they enjoy. And you don't respect that this feature wouldn't stop you playing your way, in fact you would save credits by not purchasing it. We are not asking to never EARN the datacrons, only for an option to EARN them a different way on future alts. That is not the same to any of the comparisons you have made.
  22. You're posing to tell us how gaming is no longer for you, instead you want to go to the mountains and 'help people' by convincing people with real problems to pay to come to you, so you can tell them how to master thier life like you have just mastered your life by living to a personal code of ideals that have not yet brought you happiness and mastery of your life? Perhaps you should calmly think about why you were motivated to post this idea, and examine the full motivations behind all your current asperations.
  23. Do you have any relevent and on point arguement? You seem to regularly fail to understand that making an irrelivent comparison is not making a relevent arguement on an issue. There is no slippery slope here, there is only the issue of datacrons and an individual player experiance.
  24. Any chance a bolster can be applied to character made Matrix cube relics that gives a bonus based on how many legacy characters have such a relic active. Give it a DR curve not a sheer stack but having such would return value to the cubes, make them compete with current relics that are dwarfing them, and be another legacy feature.
