  1. Now imagine for a second what it must be like for people who have actual problems you and others don’t. Wether it’s eye strain issues or vision impairments. For some it’s debilitating enough to bring on day(s) long migraines that leave them bedridden, throwing up and needing specialised painkillers. And for others it’s painful enough to never be able to login again. If BioWare aren’t going to fix it, then they need to place a warning like other games do for photosensitive to warn people with conditions like epilepsy or seizures. I’m extremely disappointed that BioWare have stayed silent on this problem for a week.
  2. What would be the term for the opposite of QOL improvements? That’s what Bioware have been doing for a number of years now. One step forward and three steps back.
  3. But not everyone wants to spam Star fighter or craft. Plus it’s not just about the guild hitting the CQ total, it’s about getting your Alts through. Sure it’s easy to to get 1-5 done with no problems. What about when you have 50 and could do that each week before 7.0 released. Now it’s probably impossible to do.
  4. Read what they said. At no time did they say there was a women with a beard in New Hope
  5. So youve never seen a New Hope and dont know the cantina scene?
  6. Do you have to have the 316 stuff equiped for the 326 to drop. Or is it find to have it in your inventory?
  7. Nothing at all. Complete silence for nearly a week of people reporting this. But they did an emergency patch and a few yellow posts cause some people didn’t get loot drops in their boxes The lack of communication on this is very telling. It says they don’t think it’s a problem and are going to ignore it till those people leave the game or stop complaining as much. Don’t they have a duty of care? To at least comment on this and warn players it maybe an issue.
  8. You mean they will hide behind poor Jackie like she’s a force shield to protect their egos. I don’t envy her job at all. She seems like a really kind and nice person. I can only imagine how this job must wear her down when she’s not even remotely responsible for the **** people are angry at the devs about. And to be fair, we arent even really angry at all the devs, just the ones making the stupid decisions to change stuff and ignoring player feedback. It’s only a handful or maybe only one or two who are telling the other devs what to do or signing off on unfinished work. And those guys are too chicken to face the population.
  9. I would love for BioWare to refresh some of the companion romances. I was playing my BH the other day and that Alt is only half way through the original comp stories. Mako obviously has the hots for Torian and I’m a lesbian and I’ve zero interest in Torian. So why can’t the story allow Mako and Torian to have a relationship? It even starts to hint at it a few times and then “bang”, no more options for them to get together and Torians back to trying to hit on me. And Lana’s pretty forgiving with everything. I could see a scenario where you, Lana and a third person, say Jaesa end up having a relationship together. It’s not uncommon in Utah to have two or more wives and that’s just the US. Travel around the world and some cultures have 20 or more wives. Why can’t we have a space Harem?
  10. More like Circumventing the system because inflation was out of control and BioWares promise to fix it equated too nerfing conquest credits which did F All to stop inflation or put downwards pressure on it. For months last year the players debated different ways to fix it. Some were over the top and others not enough. But all would have been 1000% better than BioWares lacklustre response which has done nothing. So inflation exceeded the GTN limits and now people get more credits circumventing it and trading directly with other players. No one is cheating the system. They are working with the broken arse system BioWare doesn’t give a **** about.
  11. And Ellie is right too. Im glad youre here sticking up for the little guys. Imagine how bad it is for people who have 30-100 Alts and were used to getting the majority through each week. This must seem like a massive betrayal.
  12. Darev is 100% right again And people defending this change obviously aren’t Altaholics like the rest of us who see problems with it. The current system makes you want to play conquest less and care about conquest less. How is that good for the game? How is that good for your guild or player retention. It’s not! We already have people quitting over all the other dumbarse changes, we don’t need anymore to make even more people leave or not care about playing as much.
  13. Swtor dev team was taken over and being run at the top by the fun police.
  14. Absolutely NOT. I’m just trying to make sure the information and message is correct. My point is that it’s not a bug. And if you read my other posts, including in the other thread on this same topic, you will see that I believe BioWare need to fix this urgently as well as making a public statement about it. https://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=1002532
  15. I did actually link that other thread so people can find it easier.
  16. Agreed. But that’s the point of the thread. They said specifically they were bringing back pvp specific gear. So they lied, AGAIN!
  17. The font change is not a bug. And if the rest was a bug, why isn’t it on the known bugs list by now. Why has CS and Jackie not chimed in with a yellow post to say it is? It’s because it’s NOT a bug. It was designed this way and BioWare were told about it and they ignored the feedback.
  18. It’s all about making gear not matter in pvp so it’s more about skill instead of how good your gear is. But you are correct that any gear you earn in pvp should give you the maximum stats for that gear in that format. Otherwise, what’s the point of even having a specific pvp gear grind? If they want to go down this stat capped road, they may as well get rid of the seperate pvp gear and it’s special currency and combine it with OPs or Flash point gear. Then we aren’t grinding 4 types of gear in the game for one character. I don’t necessarily disagree with the stat cap idea for health, armor, power and mastery because it puts players on a more even footing. But it should not include the secondaries like crit, alacrity and accuracy. You should be able to stack those how you like until you reach diminishing returns. Mainly because each class, build and play style reacts differently to those stats. And because BioWare devs have N F I about class stats in their own game. They never have and they never will because they don’t play it competitively live. They use spread sheets and test environments that don’t tell the real picture of how a class feels or performs in the live game. This 7.0 gearing system keeps getting worse all the time. More and more reasons to make players unsub.
  19. BioWare either made another “mistake” again or they will fully lied when they said they were going to fix this. A yellow post on Monday or better yet, a VOD from Kieth addressing the “many” mistakes or inconsistencies from previous BioWare communication would be appreciated and is beginning to become long over due on many issues to do with 7.0
